Cannot go wrong with any of the empanada options here - this place was busy and they were the main reason. The buffalo chicken and blue cheese was our top. They even offer mini empanadas as well. With service being busy, it took a while to get orders but when they come out fresh as they do, it is understandable. Store itself is relatively spacious and accessible, with a few tables that can accommodate 4-5 people. Parking can be a bit tough depending on time of day as it's part of a busy plaza.
I had an issue with a large, scheduled Doordash delivery not arriving, and they saved the day on Christmas eve even though the problem was no fault of their own and they were supposed to be closed. The food is always delicious and the owner and her son are such nice people.
If you want to be the hero of your next gathering, order an Empanada Party Platter. They come with 25 of the best mini empanadas you'll ever eat. There are many different flavors to choose from. I called ahead to order the day before, and they were ready when I walked in the door. Of course, I got a full-size one for the ride home.
The beef and cheese empanadas are great! I also had a Cuban sandwich. It was very good. Bread was a little harder than I expected and hurt my mouth a little bit. Other than that, their food was great!
My boyfriend took me to Mr.Empanada today because he said they have the best deviled crab and he was right. Their deviled crab is the best I had. We also tried beef and cheese empanada and crab empanada and they were also super delicious!! + Very friendly staff... We love Mr.Empanada on Kennedy!!! Thank you<3
These empanadas are so delicious and affordable. Every time I go, the staff is super friendly and the restaurant is clean. We order catering for work occasionally, and everyone gets so excited when they find out. A def must have!
This place is amazinnnnng! The staff has always been polite and enthusiastic when you walk in. I waited maybe 5 minutes or less but even with a small wait was thanked for being patient. Thank you for providing great customer service and tasty food!
Driving around running errands I decided to stop by.
The place was somewhat busy, mostly with to-go / pick-up orders, nevertheless the wait was minimal and worth it. Our empanadas came out freshly made and piping hot‼️
The establishment looked clean and well maintained, and they seemed to be diligently following protocols post COVID-19 👌🏼

These empanadas are just fantastic!
They are not the Colombian or famous Argentinian empanadas (which I love, too) this looks like a different concept. Flavors are full of taste , the presentation great and the dine-in atmosphere, clean and nice.

Cuban sandwich was awesome. Friendly staff. Clean little cafe of sorts. Tried an empanada with beef and cheese, it was really good. Everything was reasonably priced. As a Cuban connoisseur I don’t know what could be better. Stop by and enjoy some great food. I think you’ll be glad you did.

Fast- clean- good service- delicious food
I am a fan of the Chef Salad- and in this particular Mr. Empanada is always delicious!! They don’t cut the ham in big chunks and they tossed it very well EVERY-TIME! I had it in other Mr. Empanadas & details like these make a huge difference on how it tastes. The other thing I love they always remember to put napkins, fork and bread! Bread is always fresh too.
The service is phenomenal, fast and the owners are always there and are super nice.

Great food fast, the fries were hot, plentiful, & just the right crunchiness. The empanadas were hot, crispy, & flavorful. And the best part was the price was right, definitely recommend.
