Best meat in Tampa. Great wine selection, perfect produce variety, and a great military friendly staff. Favorite place for cafe con lèche too. Highly recommend!

Best Cuban Sandwiches in the area!
They customized my Greek salad as requested! It would really be cool if this business could branch off and create a restaurant you could sit down in — but I’m sure that would cause higher operating costs. Will try more than a salad next time!

Back in 2004/2005 I found out about this place I was fixing the owners hot tub. It was getting late. Got out of his house about 7ish I wanna say. I was hungry for dinner. He told me he had this deli/store just a few blocks away and I should visit because it's really good food. He didn't exaggerate. I just moved back to Florida about an hour north. I came to visit friends in Pinellas County. They wanted to take me out in St Pete. I said no thanks. I wanna go to the best place to get a hot meal that I ever had in the Tampa Bay area. Healthy homemade type food. . So I left and headed str8 to the Interbay Meat Market. When you first walk in you can see it's so clean in there it's like hospital clean.
Makes you feel at home. They have hot fresh meals for very reasonable prices. Excellent sandwiches, meats and chicken ect. What you remember also is the big smiles on "all" of the employee's faces. You can tell they are "happy" at their jobs. It makes your visit that much better. It's rare nowadays and greatly appreciated. This time I got the sirloin with peppers and onions. Mac & cheese and brussel sprouts. I read it off the menu board 8.99 with 2 sides. The guy serving was really friendly. I told him about how I first found them ect. When I got to the front where they put the food on. I hesitated as the sirloin looked like ground beef. I didn't have my glasses on. I almost changed my mind. Glad I didn't. It was sooooo good. Tender and tasty. Mac & cheese is exactly how Mom used to make it. The brussel sprouts were excellent. I'm not sure how they cook it spices ect but omgosh. Every time I'm in town I will definitely go out of my way to come here again & again. As you can see I finished everything on the plate. MMMMmmmm !!! The only problem I have with this place is they need to open more markets!! Come to Leesburg. We need you badly. lol Don't change anything. Still rocking after all this time.
I use to eat at the “Green Store” often when my brother was stationed at the local Air Force base. Now when I come to visit from Minneapolis, I make sure I get the best authentic Cuban food in the Tampa area. Got to have my cafe con leche too. Love this place! Great, friendly staff too!
Great little grocery store and market in Tampa. For their size, they have a real good variety of items. The smell when you walk in and let you know the food is going to be really good. Have been here for breakfast and dinner. They have a wide variety of options and the food is excellent. Very friendly staff and the food is well priced. They have wines and cider, and I even saw a cream limoncello which I am rarely able to find. So far I have had a breakfast sandwich, a fish sandwich, and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, and would recommend any of them.
One of my favorite places to eat in Tampa. Great selection of Cuban food. The Ropa Vieja is fantastic. The rotisserie chicken is well seasoned and juicy. Add tasty sides such as black beans, rice, fries and plantains to complete your meal. The soups are also excellent. They also offer a grill and sandwich counter serving up burgers and the classic Cuban sandwich. Staff is friendly and helpful. You won't be disappointed or hungry!!!!!
Grabbed a breakfast burrito, all my colleagues raved about it...I agree it was amazing, now to come back for some meats and seasonings.
The Interbay Meat Market without a doubt, offers the very best breakfast and lunch in Tampa. All their entrees and all their sandwiches feature only the freshest meats and vegetables. The owners, Hani and Maria, are just the nicest people you’ve ever met. They ensure that only the highest standards are met daily. All the employees are super courteous and very helpful. Also their meat selection is unparalleled in this town. If you’re cooking out and you’re not buying your meat from the Interbay Meat Market, you are definitely missing out. Their selection will not disappoint.
Love supporting a local store. Great service from the friendly staff, butcher has some great cuts for grilling and smoking, craft beer selection is decent for the discerning palette, and they have a decent stock of fresh produce staples. As evidenced by the lunch rush, their to-go food is a lunch time favorite for many locals and service men and women from MacDill. They also carry lots of herbs and spices, and various hot sauces and marinades.
