Seriously???. I LOVE this place!!! Hands down one of THE best Greek dressings around. The meats are full of flavor, portions are great and so it the price! Its the perfect spot for a quick lunch or even a dinner :)
Fantastick Greek Food - Fast. The Hungry Greek serves some very tasty, homestyle Greek food all at a fast-casual pace. Portions are huge and everything I tried tasted "homemade." Don't miss the Lemon Chicken Soup.

This is a favorite for us for lunch an dinner. Dine-in or take out, the food is fresh and so so good! You can eat as healthy as you want here!
Love the Greek Salads. Full of fresh vegetables (olives, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, beets) and add to that feta cheese and potato salad. The Greek dressing is my favorite, anywhere! It is light and sweet. Also, add to that a warm pita with cup of taziki sauce for dipping.
The chicken on salads, kabobs o in pitas is always grilled fresh, right in front of you! This isn't precooked chicken, it is fresh breast meat grilled just for you.
The gyros are stuffed with enough meat to fill 2 pitas!
Would recommend you call ahead so order is ready for you whether eating in or doing takeout.

You Won't Leave Hungry. Bountiful fresh food and a very helpful staff made eating here a pleasure! Chopped salads are creative and delicious. The Gyro Platter was more than one person should have eaten, but it was just so good. After enduring the totally indifferent service at Louis Pappa's, it was truly exciting to find this place! Better food quality, larger portions and a friendly staff make The Hungry Greek a winner.
Chopped salads are bountiful and delicious. The grilled chicken is also very flavorful. For under $10, you definitely can get more than your money's worth.

We ate dinner at the Hungry Greek over on Race Track Road tonight. I swear, all these little Greek places have the exact same look and the food tastes pretty much the same. Loren got the dolmades and I went for a gyro. He said the dolmades were ok. I liked the gyro, but I found it rather difficult to eat. They really packed on the meat (which is ok) but the one slice of tomato on top didn’t exactly make it easy to bite into without getting the whole thing in one bite. Total bill with a drink was $21. They were super nice! The falafel was fresh and tasty! The gyro was excellent! They have plenty of dessert options and they have both and indoor and outdoor seating area. The excellent service along with the delicious food make this place one of my favorite local spots! I highly recommend to try this location (there's a few of them).
The Greek salad with the Gyro was fresh, clean, and had such a delicious taste it blew my mind! Where it fell short was the Lamb meat. It just tasted very...I don't know Commercial. It didn't taste like back home (nyc/nj) But all in all the Greek deserves 4 stars. Excellent food, service and decor.

Stopped in while in the area for a soccer game. Good food! We had veggie pitas, salads, fries, and falafel. Two thumbs up! Everything was good!
Just got lunch to go. Was in and out in 10 minutes. Staff was super friendly. I was a little indecisive with choosing my meal because I wanted a chicken Philly pita but also told the guy taking my order I was craving cucumbers so I was debating getting a bowl instead. I chose to go ahead with the Philly pita. When I got my order the guy told me he put a few cucumbers on the side for me. Small act of kindness, made me day!
First time here. The food was not as fresh as I expected. Got the tabouli bowl with chicken. The chicken was good, beans tasted from can, hummus tasted pre-made no olive oil in it. Brown rice needed more flavor. That's my perspective but you give it a try.
Great food and excellent service! The young lady who picks up the phone to take the orders, I wish I remembered her name, is lovely, polite, and helpful. I love their Greek bowls with the protein options. I will definitely order again.
If you're interested in getting Greek food it's good. Great customer service. It's in a good plaza with lots of parking. little bit of an outdoor seating area that's covered off to the side. A lot of other stores in the area easy to get into from racetrack road They have fans places clean customer service is good The food was good not really much else to say other than if you want Greek food and you're in the area this place is worth a worth a shot.
I was in Tampa, my friend took me to Hungry Greek. I had the gyro (sorry forgot to take a picture, was hungry lol) was take out. Was very happy with the food and service! Will go back again, wish there had one in Daytona.

Five stars because this is my favorite quick Greek food restaurant. I always get the chicken souvlaki meal. It’s a HUGE amount of food, so be hungry. It’s two chicken skewers, which are always cooked perfectly. There’s a large Greek salad and the best rice. Not sure what they do, but the rice here is amazing ! My boyfriend always gets the pitas, which look good too. I highly recommend you try this restaurant out
The smell of fresh baked bread is the first thing that hits you when you come in and then a nice welcoming hello from staff was a nice first impression. I ordered the combo chicken and beef skewers over pilaf and it was wonderful.
We are regular customers and I have to say the staff is awesome, friendly, and always goes above and beyond. The gem of this location is the manager NICK! He is such a asset to your company and we keep coming back because he treats not only my elderly godparents as if they were his.....helping my godfather Jim get up out of chair if necessary and ANYTHING WE COULD POSSIBLY NEED. We literally come just to see NICK HE'S AWESOME. Thank you for the great service and AWESOME FOOD!!!!!!

These folks are supremely awesome! We love getting food from here. It's super fast and their fare is fantastic. The souvlaki, gyros, Greek salads, Tabouli, and other dishes are wonderful! We've even had them cater several events we've held and we're extremely satisfied and appreciative of their service. Will definitely be back again and again... 😁😁😁
