First time here after moving here and it was fantastic! I live very close as well and this is my new breakfast go-to spot! Food was delicious, service was great (Josh) and the interior is cute! Me and my son stopped there while on vacation in Tampa. They used to have a location in Fort Myers so I wanted to see if it was as good as I remembered. They did not disappoint . While the coffee wasn't anything to write home about the food was exceptional! They also have amazing pies but regretfully it was breakfast so I didn't have any. Saw a sign for free pie on Wednesdays. The sausage was the best we ever had! Everything was tasty and wonderful!
I absolutely loved this place! I got a room at the hotel next door.. and I stopped by here for breakfast..

One of my favorite breakfast spots. One of the waitress, Landa is amazing! She remembers me and my family every time we are there and she always has to be our waitress. She's one of the reasons we keep coming back.
When approaching it looked a Lil desolate... this location closes @ 3pm I was greeted by a warm smile at the door and seated promptly. Crystal was my server she made suggestions from the menu sweep the floors and actually seemed to be the only one assisting guest I decided on the Buttery vanilla flavored Frenchtoast patty sausage with scrambled eggs it was delicious!!! Oh and my Arnold palmer 😋 it was definitely worth will be back tomorrow lol😆
The wait staff was courteous and affable. I had the pick 4: eggs with cheddar, cheese grits, turkey sausage, and 1/2 Belgium waffle with an Arnold Palmer. Food was tasty and flavorful. The turkey sausage was juicy and nicely spiced. I would definitely go back.

It wasn't busy, but Kaylee was either relatively new or distracted. She did check on me once, but she forgot my eating utensils and condiments and the bill, although she thought she had given the bill to me. She was a sweet girl though and I'm sure she's improving everyday. I left her a good tip anyway. I know what some of you are saying... how is she going to learn?
The Tuscan skillet is what I ordered. They were out of sundried tomatoes, and Kaylee told me that up front. It was still good. It's been a long time since I've been to this restaurant and it's seen better days. Especially outside. It's needs some work. As I was leaving I tried to exit by the south facing doors although I entered the other way. They were locked and there was a man with a battery operated drill next to him SLEEPING on a porch bench on that side of the entryway. He looked like a working man that was exhausted, but still... Since my car was closer to that side I tried those doors and realized I held to walk around the other side of the building. They need to deal with the vagrancy problem. That's a turn off.
Best breakfast place ever! Took great care of us. The service was quick and the food was excellent. They even rushed to get our order in ahead of a group of 30. Will go out of our way to come back!
Food was good. Even though our order came out wrong. They mixed up the ingredients in both omlettes. Our server was great.
Facility is older and could use some vacuuming and cleaning but hard to hold that against them with staffing shortages most establishments are faced with.
Great service and most of our party enjoyed their meals. My husband had the club, my daughter the french toast and I was torn between classic eggs Benedict and a florentine version. As I love Canadian bacon, I chose a mash-up! Oh no, you BeneDONT. I was saddened to receive what would've been eggs florentine benedict with a slab of country ham saved under the egg. 😔 Everyone else's meal was great and our service was wonderful. Will return will not order eggs benedict.
We've been here twice, from out of town, and have gotten the same waitress both times! I can't remember her name, but she's awesome! The food was great both times, and I liked what I got the first time so much I ordered it again the second time, and it was just as delicious! It could use a little TLC, but that's also what gives it its charm!
Strange Friday night, not crowded, very nice place. Clean, got the rueben sandwich, fries, cherry pie. The pie hold on to the title of The Best, NOT just 1 of the best, BUT , THE BEST!
Had a really good cooked meal. Food was delicious but nothing out of the ordinary. Burger was not cooked to my ask for temperature but I didn’t really expect it to be. Great selection of pies. Service was fine, manager was working the register and was very attentive to us and made us feel welcome. Great location conveniently located to USF and the surrounding area. They have a quick good breakfast. Would recommend for a quick casual bite to eat
Village Inn in Tampa on 30th Avenue is the cleanest, best service, friendly manager and waitress I have experienced in a long time. Barbara is my waitress when I go. She is fast, courteous and sincere. Her manager of this location, Daniel is obviously a good manager because the staff is always so happy to be there. Restaurants are not thinking of the customers complete experience when they enter BUT this one does. One happy customer I am and love to go there. Actually probably be there in am as I have an appt in the area. Keep up the awesome work!
