Topping and sauce are good as is most NY style pizza but the crust here is a step above. Super large slices and people are cool as well. I will be sure to try other stuff here as well.
Lasagna to die for. Pizza one of the best. Definitely has that non chain atmosphere and taste of food. Little hole in the wall but food is excellent. Service warm and human, example; came in to pick up lasagna order, price a gigantic pizza and commented on it, he asked if I had e er tried their pizza, I said No, he proceeded to give us a slice a piece to try it. We loved it. Now that's true customer service
I love this place, they have some of the best pizza I've had in Florida & definitely my favorite in New Tampa area. I always get an extra large pie with thin crust & they have yet to disappoint me, which is unusual when it comes to food & certainly pizza 🍕! They offer delivery and the pizza is always freshly made to order. They also offer a gigantic pizza which is great as a party novelty, but not very practical when it comes to take-out, etc... I know because I've had this on 2 occaisions lol...
Omg! A single slice of their pizza is bigger than most whole pizza pies! True New York flavor thin crust! The food is hot a quality of ingredients is amazing! This is my new go to place
First time ordering from Hawkeye Pizza. Most pizza places do a mediocre job with the salads but my Grilled Chicken Salad was equally as delicious as the Margherita pizza I ordered. Online ordering was easy. Delivery was fast and my food arrived hot. I will order again!
Order food tonight, had a steak sub, pizza, and baked ziti. The sub was excellent, the pizza was as well, and the ziti was made with meat-sauce good blend together. Had it delivered, and I live in Wesley Chap, it took a hour, which the lady told me that when we ordered. She said the bbd delivery takes longer because they are at the end of cross creek, but I thought we got it pretty fast. Highly recommend, do not do what I did by not ordering because of a review, I was impressed.
WOW this place has the best food. We ordered white pizza and it was the best tasting ever!! I ordered regular pizza and it was awesome. NICE people courteous service fast delivery I will continue to recommend this place to everyone!!!
we just had a 28inch pizza, it was a hit at our party.. just great!! that taste of NY definitely would recommend , all of our friends took a pic of the box with the phone number!
Overall they were great. In and out. Huge slices for cheap prices. Also decent combos available. Only 4 stars because of quality. Not exceptional but a good quick bite. Would go again.
Best NY style thin crust pie in Tampa. Only downside is occasional inconsistency of quality. Had one bad experience out of 8 visits. Still best pie in Tampa.
Was a slight misunderstanding but management was quick to respond and remedy the situation. Kudos to them.
In today's age where one of the biggest complaints is customer service, Hawkeyes resolved the issue quickly. I'm happy to hear the ownership hasn't changed will definitely keep coming back.
