Enjoyed the meal. My son ate salchipapa and empanada and I had empanada and sancocho. They also sell a small bandeja paisa. Good because normally that is two meals in itself. Only one downside, the staff really didn't speak much English. They were helpful and didn't give me too hard a time with my horrible Spanish.

I always enjoy mom-n-pop places with great dishes, very friendly service, that are kept clean and if possible... with great prices (though I'll gladly pay a bit more for those qualities). This goes for any style of cooking. Sabor Paisa happened to blow me away in every one of these points today when we were looking for a quick bite to eat. The staff, decor and menu options are unequivocally "Paisa"... my favorite region of Colombia (I'm not from there but have visited). We will definitely be back to this hidden gem!

I am a client for several years of this restaurant and I am surprised for the negative comments. They as well as the others restaurants have people that like the food and people that do not like the food. I can tell you that over the years my experience with this restaurant is fantastic, I cannot complaint, the food is delicious and the service kind and courteous. Thank you Sabor Paisa for a great service and great food. Hilda Martin

This small restaurant has one of the best "Mini Bandejas" in Tampa Bay. Not too big of a plate and definitely not small. It comes with steak instead of beef. The attention and the service are pretty good and the quality of the food is worth it. I will definitely come back, but try to avoid the lunch rush hour.

Their small beef soup is a meal! It comes with rice, plantains, and a salad. The soup! Oh, my, yummy! It has delicious chunks of meat, potato, and even part of a corn cob floating in a velvety, luscious broth. Highly recommended! The mofongo is pretty darn good too!

My wife (Colombian) and I went to lunch mid week. First and foremost, the restaurant was spotless and the waitress was very friendly and accomadating while explaining the menu. Portions are large and prices are low. My wife and I have been to every Colombian restaurant in Tampa that we know and without reservation, this little jewel tops the list

Food was very good, service was a little slow but overall was worth the wait, would recommend it. Prices were reasonable, serving size was great, took some home with us, looks like we've got breakfast for tomorrow morning..

Simple awesome small storefront sit down / take out restaurant "a la casera" food. This is the food you get when in the Antioquia region of Colombia...They also have dishes from other Colombia regions.
