I was craving some JA food after having visiting JA & having real Jamaican food, I was a little skeptical but decided to give it a try. The lady at the front counter greeting me with her warm presence & thick accent-I loved it! Brought back memories from being there. I decided to eat the food later on & I was happy to get that sweet authentic JA taste! I have never ate rice & beans in my life but now I understand what the fuss was all about! Everything was great, from the sweet plaintains-cabbage & chicken! If you are ever in the Brandon/Tampa area…visiting this place is a must!

The patties here are the best I’ve ever had - just the perfect amount of spiciness! The older lady who works front of house is so kind. The jerk chicken was not my favorite but there are a lot of other menu choices that I am looking forward to trying! The price point is very reasonable and the dining room is both clean and relaxed.

My family and I love Irie Bay. We’ve gone to Tampa several times over the past 8 years to visit family and this now our go to place. Everything on the menu is delish. Mama as I’ve always called her is so sweet and kind. Stop by here next time you’re in Tampa. You won’t be disappointed.

I have been bringing my pets here since I moved to FL in 2012. The staff really cares about the pets that are brought in. I also board my pets here because the animals know them and they are know about any of their health issues. I've lost 2 pets since I came here but had to add their pix.

I love the food here. I try to come here at least twice a month lol. Everything is good and fresh. I'd recommend the oxtails to anyone😄

Hands down the best restaurant we tried in Tampa. This little place was near our hotel and it was wonderful. The people who helped us were very sweet and the food was excellent. This is just a little place with their menu written daily on the board. I had the curry goat twice and tried my husband's oxtails. My grade school aged daughter loved everything and had a wonderful time eating her brown stew with chicken. Both times we visited we were the only ones in the restaurant but there were frequent to go orders showing up. Everyone who helped us was very friendly and they have a fun selection of Jamaican drinks in the cooler. This a chill place and well worth the visit

This place is amazing and the food is really good. The Jamaican lady there was so nice, she reminds me of my grandmother. I am not sure why people give negative review here. The food is good: I tried the jerk pork and Jerk chicken. And the prices for each were under $10. That is a deal compare to other Caribbean restaurants that I have been to. The restaurant is also clean and very well kept.

I heard about this place from my friend who is a chief. Tried it today and turned out to be excellent. Had the 1/4 jerk chicken meal, a bit spicy but has great flavor. Service was fast. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommend if you are looking for Jamaican restaurant. They do have curry goat & Oxtail on their menu.
