Finally a place that has pasta and gravy like you find up north! The pasta was so tasty and the sauce was unbelievable. The concept is awesome - pick yous pasta (rigatoni to ravs to torts to penne to traditional spaghetti, etc.), then your sauce (bolognese, marinara, spicy gravy, etc.), then you meats/veggies (amazing meatballs, sausage, broccoli, etc.), then of course, pick your dessert (cannolis!, chocolate cake, tarts, etc.). It was a great place and I'll be heading back asap.
WONDERFUL food, the best lobster ravioli I have ever had--with pink sauce and grilled calamari.
Friendly owners, great homemade fresh food, lots of delicious sauce & pasta options to mix and match. I highly recommend placing a gnocchi order today!

Just ordered from here after randomly finding it on maps. I could give five stars for decor alone absolutely love it. Love the express part I can get delicious FRESH pasta to go. I got rigatoni with pesto and chicken. Amazing. Have to try this place out, the prices are super reasonable and the portion size is legit too.

Must Try!!! I found this amazing little place by accident. First off, you should know that this wonderful place only does take out. Second, when you walk in you feel this inviting warmth as if you were in the house of an Italian grandmother. Third, the owner is outgoing and friendly and is very passionate about her food and restaurant, as well as those who come in to pick their order up.
I really love how the menu is. Pick you pasta, pick your protein and pick your sauce. And of course other items such as salad and desserts. I chose tortellini with arrabbiata sauce. If you love a spicy dish…I dare you! It was perfect and of course delicious. I also had the cannoli dessert, this is my #1 favorite dessert above all others and she got this 100% perfect…the way I remembered having it when I lived in Italy as a kid. I will most definitely want to return to try other dishes.
We ordered rigatoni, fettuccine alfredo, caprese salad and chicken tenders for our Christmas dinner and loved it. Everyone’s fav was the fettuccine but everything else was amazing as well! It was the best food during our Tampa trip so far.

Wonderful! We ordered doordash while in the area and the tortellini was so good I had to call the restaurant and let them know how much we enjoyed it. We found out that the pasta is Grandma’s recipes! Delicious. Will definitely eat here again.
At the conclusion of a 5 day road trip, I had a serious craving for shrimp scampi.
Don Rigatoni totally nailed it. My only regret was not getting two orders! 😅
I did takeout but I noticed that the ambiance was really cozy and well-put together.

This is a funky little takeaway spot. I was welcomed by a very friendly and helpful gal who walked me through the concept and menu. So there's no dine in so just know it's not a date spit but the food is great to bring home. Portions were good size and the noodles were nice. Bought the squid ink with quattro formaggi sauce which admittedly overtakes the squid ink. Next time, maybe just Alfredo sauce. Also had to try the chicken park. The marinara was nice and it had a ton of melted cheese on it. Both bowls were super comforting. Also got like a half a loaf of bread loaded with butter, cheese, garlic, and bacon. Tons of food.
I ordered the Pear and Gorgonzola Ravioli with Fresh Cream, Blue Cheese, Truffle Oil, Caesar salad and beef empanadas. So good! The ravioli had the perfect sweet and salty flavor. Thanks DR
Literally the best pasta I have ever had! It was so incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly! Restaurant felt Authentic and homie, and the the amazing staff was so personable!

I visited Don Rigatoni tonight for the first time. I drove from Sarasota to Tampa after hearing about this restaurant while listening to the Mike Calta Show - which I've listened to every morning for the past 18 months on the way to work. Mike and the other hosts said the food was great so I had to give it a try.
I ordered pasta with three cheese cream and shitaki mushrooms. My accompanying family members ordered stuffed shells with marinara and pasta with marinara. We were all very pleased with our meals. Everything was fresh and delicious! I also had a piece of the super rich chocolate chocolate chocolate cake!!! YUM!
The owner chatted with us while our meals were being prepared. She was delightful! She told us about her family history, where's she's from in Italy, where she's lived around the world and the five languages she speaks. What a great host and inviting atmosphere!
While there MANY customers and food delivery services came and went. It's obvious this eatery is good and popular by the number of folks coming and going!
This was a great experience and I highly recommend stopping by to give Don Rigatoni a try!
I went here on thanksgiving because it was the only place open near by. It ended up being an amazing experience on top of the food being excellent. The owners were so sweet and they genuinely love what they do. They helped us select a bottle of wine that both matched our usual taste and pushed us to try something new which perfectly matched our meals. The wine was amazing and imported from Italy but at a really affordable price. We barely even had to wait for the food and it was so so good and fresh. Highly Highly Highly recommend ordering from here if you want Italian take out
I’ve been ordering from this place for years…I don’t know how they have bad reviews but my experience has never been short of perfect. The food (the pasta is soooo good!!) is always delicious and cooked to temperature and packaged with care. The times I’ve gone inside to pickup the staff is friendly, and I’ve met the owner before and she was very kind. This is my go-to on Uber eats and I’ll continue to support them
The colossal cake is my stop every time I pass through Tampa. Pasta choices and flavor are better than other pasta bars in St Pete. Inside area for me is a relaxed atmosphere when waiting to pick up my order

EDIT: After this unfortunate experience, the owner Almy was very kind and open to receiving feedback. I was heard without issue or hostility and the issue was quickly corrected. Excellent customer service!
Delivery was an hour late (Ordered around 10pm, arrived at 11:30pm) and by that time I was starving. The cheesy breadstick wasn't toasted/no minced garlic but still good. The caramel brownie was super sweet, could be good in small bites with milk but good lord the PASTA was the biggest letdown of all.
Unsalted, very overcooked pasta, shrimp were cooked well although not cleaned. (Black intestinal line made them gritty) and THE SAUCE omg. No wine used, very watered down butterish sauce. When the food arrived to me, I had opened it up expecting something I could dip my garlic bread in but what I got was what looked like plain pasta at the top and extra soggy expanded mono lump noodles at the bottom. Goodness gracious this foodie just about had a heart attack. Sadly my first and last time ordering here. :(
Literally the best. Their principessa sauce with rigatoni pasta is amazing, I love their homemade sausage! they always do an excellent and the owners are angels, they always leave a little note on the bag. I know when I order from them i’ll have a meal for 2 days. If I wasn’t trying to watch my carbs I’d get their pasta 3x a week…
I ordered a create your own pasta dish with gnocchi, meatballs, tomato, and ricotta cheese. Highly recommend this place everything was cooked perfectly! The sauce was fantastic and had such a wonderful flavor. Delivery was also quick from Uber eats.
BEST PLACE EVER!! They are always fast with your order, and the fact that you can customize your pasta is awesome. The staff and owner are both so friendly and you can tell their food is art. Hidden gem for sure.
