Friday’s call for lunch dates! So of course I headed to my favorite spot in Tampa - Armature Works
We decided on a lighter choice today and checked out the salads, wraps, bowls & soup options at Cress
I love that they have cold & hot options for your base and that whatever protein you select is cooked to order. Our server Reece was very kind and patient with us as we had several questions regarding the menu options.
Today we tried a steak bowl with quinoa, lentils and stir fry veggies. And a blackened shrimp salad with Bibb lettuce, corn, cheese and a house made dressing.
There’s plenty of options to choose from that will satisfy any diet from vegan - vegetarian - pescatarian to meat eater.

So I had a rather unique experiance at Cress today. I have eaten here 2 or 3 times so far so I already had an idea how the process works. The person ahead of me however was clearly a first timer and didn't seem to want to look at the menu at all (which they had in their hand the whole time) the guy working with them, whom I assume is the manager with the chef coat, was very patient with the person ahead of me answering every question clearly, making suggestions, etc. By the end of the process the person ahead of me then questioned the price, even though the worker clearly stated each add on before adding it letting them know it was extra. The customer was super rude but it did not seem to phase the worker at all. After he finished and got to me he apologised for the wait and built my bowl. Which was amazing and also a black bean and pork soup which was just fire. Thanks so much see you soon!
OMG this is the beat place ever. Not only is the food out of this world, the customer service is outstanding. A young lady by the name of Fran was very knowledgeable of the different items and what worked well together. She was super friendly and patient with this first timer. I will definitely be back. I would give more stars if I could for the Cleanliness, cooked to order, fresh and customer service!! Thanks Fran for a great experience 😊
Wow I love this place for lunch so much! The prices are great, the bowls are healthy, and the food is incredibly fresh. You have so many options for building your own bowl and get plenty of food to fill you up. Great addition to Armature Works! Check this place out!
Went in today for the first time and what can I say! Reece was super helpful and explained everything really well. A lot of these things we were not used to but he was very paitent and suggested a lot of interesting flavors we really loved. For sure will be going back soon!
So far i have not found a better tasting salad in the city. Salmon always cooked perfect. Yum yum and nice folks serving!
