My mother, sister, and I stopped here for lunch. So glad we did! We are from out of state and just up for the weekend. El rincon caribe had the best pasteles we have had ever since my abuela passed away over 10 years ago! The gentleman that helped us out was wonderful and very friendly! We even order some pastels that were frozen to take back home! Would highly recommend and will definitely come back for the food!

I happened to be in the area for business. I was immediately greeted with smiles and great service. Had the escabeche de pescao and zurullitos de queso con jugo de piña mango. Absolutely the best I’ve had in years. Reminded me of my mother’s cooking when I was younger. EVERYTHING was delish (fish, rice, zurrullito and the drink). Highly recommend this spot. I even ordered another jugó de parcha and a coconut flan to go. I’ll definitely return with family even though it’s a distance from where I live. 10 out of 10 in my book.

I had a shrimp mofongo, and it was amazing. It's been hard looking for a spainsh restaurant, but this right here made me feel like I was 100% Puerto Rican, O WAIT, I AM!!! LOL VERY GOOD

The absolute BEST Spanish food in the area! Their papas de rellenos (fried potato ball with beef inside) oh my goodness 🤌🏽so wonderfully delicious !! 😋🤤 I eat from here probably 3 -4 times a week! Their prices are very decent for such amazing homemade food. Everything is homemade and just absolutely delicious !

This is the 4th time we ate here and it was excellent. A lot of flavor, Nice staff and quick. We like it so much, we bought some to take home with us. The kids also liked the food. They have many gluten-free options. If you're going near the restaurant, I highly recommend the food.

Wow! I can’t say enough about the quality and flavor of dinner tonight-every bite was INCREDIBLE. I grew up eating my Uncle’s Mijo’s food & all the memories flooded back of family gatherings. We did take out this time but the place was spotless & the people were welcoming.

Found this place while traveling through PA. It has phenomenal Puerto Rican food, as well as some other spanish/latin cuisine. Best cuban and arroz con gandulez. I haven't had a sorullo, let alone a big cheese filled one in ages. Yum! Plus, they have a mini store with all the great PRican coffees ☕ (made in Ponce💙). We will be stopping there on every drive near the area again and again. Can't wait to try more of the menu, including the pollo asado and MOFONGO! 👍

Amazing food!! I drove 3.5hrs and it did not disappoint. I felt like I was back home in Puerto Rico. They even had limbers. It was so good I forgot to take pictures of the food. We will be back!

I absolutely enjoyed their service, attentiveness, and food. The food was so well made it felt like I was in Puerto Rico. It was 35 minutes from where we are staying in The Poconos and were going back tomorrow. We love it here!

This was a wonderful find and great way to top off our trip. We went to Great Wolf Lodge for a couple of days. It’s a great place but they lack interesting food options. A little Google search Led us to El Rincon. We started with a couple of Alcapuria’s which were a perfect starter and tasty treat. Then the main meal. The mufungo is excellent! Go with the added chicharon inside for sure. I had Pernil with beef gravy and my 12 year old had the shrimp version. Both were excellent and a very generous portion. My wife and 9year old shared the Pollo Guisado and rice which was also wonderful and plenty for them to share. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the owner was a great guy who gave all credit to his wife’s amazing recipes! El Rincon is absolutely worth Visiting anytime you’re in the area and in need of a wonderful meal. We’ll be back next time we’re in town for sure!

I absolutely love this place. Authentic Puertorican food. Best Mofongo I've tried so far in the area & I live 35 mins away. I'm so happy with the interior upgrades and expansion of the building. Now you can dine in as well if you wanted to. My family and I always stop here when we're in the area.

On Friday, they made Escabeche. I ordered 2 plates w/ rice & Yucca. These fish plates were EXCELLENT! The best Spanish food in the Poconos.

Good food and settings. Feels like a bit of P.R. when I'm there. Monfongo is good. Just need to place the white cooking cheese inside it and not on top! That's how it's normally done. Other then that was great!
