This place is great!! We stayed at one of the hotels in the same plaza, so decided to walk over for lunch. The roasted artichoke dip was the selling point, and it was delicious!! For my meal, I had the trio of meatballs and a side caesar salad. The meatballs melt in your mouth, they were amazing. The side salad was surprisingly big, but was good. My mom ordered the Chicago steak calzone. She got the personal size which was also surprisingly big. She was happy to eat half, and bring half home. She said it was spicy and delicious. We didn't get dessert this time, but we'll definitely be coming back. There were so many items on the menu that sounded delicious.
I was visiting Arizona for an event with a friend. It was a Friday, and dinner time. I read several reviews of places in the area and we decided to try Spinatos. From the minute we walked in, until we left it was a wonderful experience. Staff is friendly and very helpful. A Mgr came by after Avery, our server let them know we had food allergies at our table. Knowing I could eat somewhere and not be fearful if I would get sick was a big Plus. Everything went smooth and the food was amazing and delicious. Great options, lots of choices and live how flexible they are about omitting something or exchanging peppers for olives. Great recommendations as well. We also got to take advantage of happy hour. So we got our salad on that menu. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Phoenix next time.
Visited here while on business. We got the Hawaiian Hottie but substituted the ham for pepperoni. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Pizza was damn good. Our server was great. We really liked the vibe. If I lived in AZ, I would definitely eat here all the time.
First time eating at Spinato’s.
We tried the Phoenix Suns favorite pizza, added pineapple. They were out of the Sicilian crust, so thin it was.
Pizza flavor was very good!
Meat topping was sparse- interesting and unique crust.
We shared the small Cesar salad- very flavorful, loads of parmigiana. Croutons were teeth breakers.
Service at our table in the bar, just okay. Our server was off in la-la land. The bartender was cranking out the goods to those seated at the bar. We got our little side of ranch just in time to put it in the leftover box. S l o w.
We both decided there are way too many other places to try before coming back.
We've been to the Spinato's in North Phoenix and enjoyed dinners there. Tonight we dined at the Tempe Spinato's and this was our first pizza: it did not disappoint. The sausage was delicious and all of the vegetables were fresh and full of flavor. Best of all was the marinara sauce on the pizza - Spinato's homemade recipe AND there was more than an ample amount (more than you'll get on a pizza anywhere else). We had the thin crust, and I'm glad we did.
Fantastic Pizza, sausage was really good. We also had chicken wings, went with the hot which is exactly that. I liked them and sense there is some ghost pepper in the sauce. Waitress said it was just a hot buffalo but it’s more than that. I liked it and had it the next day again for lunch.
My husband, two friends and I ate there for the first time last Saturday. The first thing I noticed was that we received a friendly greeting with a smile from the hostess. We were seated promptly. Our server also greeted us promptly and with a smile. (I think his name was Braedon). The food was excellent- we all had pizza. It was the best service I have received in quite some time. We all agreed that we would return.
This was my second time here and it was as good as the first time. Definitely a great spot for some good pizza, appetizers and sandwiches. Atmosphere and ambiance was beautiful. We ordered a few appetizers and a pizza. The food didn’t disappoint and was way above expectations. Pizza had fresh topping and crust had a great crunch and not over done.
Ivan, the server, was wonderful and the service was excellent. He was very polite and helped us pack our leftovers very neatly.
I love the outdoors. I’ll stop by again. A must visit place!
pretty impressed with this unassuming place. busy on friday night but had space at the bar.
the personal pizzas are reasonably priced and everyone can get exactly what the want! no compromising over pizza toppings!
solid drink selection as well.
8.3/10
The atmosphere was the best part! We went on a Wednesday night and there was live music. They have large windows all around and high ceilings. Everyone there seemed super happy. I recommend the smash drink, very fruity and yummy. We made reservations the day before. I also recommend going during happy hour which is before 6 pm. I got spaghetti with garlic toast for only $6! My boyfriend got the small pizza for $7 and he said it was delicious. Cocktails were $2 off.
Super great! Made a reservation and there was no wait for me and my friend. Food was DELICIOUS and fresh, our waiter was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Overall vibe of the place was super, too. Definitely a place I'd love to come back to!
Fire it up with the meatball trio and the cheesy garlic bread to start. Do the meaty pizza and I would recommend adding feta cheese.
This place is such a great place for lunch and the prices are so decent.
Definitely my go to for business lunches or casual dining.
Interesting new pizza place next to Tempe Marketplace. Loved the very attentive server, who checked up on us frequently.
Always the Large Get Meaty.
My favorite.
I wish they were open on Monday's since Wingstop always disappoints me.
Bar service is on par, food quality, atmosphere and employees moral seem to be top notch every visit.
Awesome spot for families or date night. Modern decor super upbeat but chill environment. The beer comes out in a cool glass and the pizza was superb. Inexpensive and plenty of leftovers to take home. Looking forward to more visits soon.
Olive Garden can keep there unlimited bread and salad, this was way better. Taste fresher and the seasoning is on point. Definitely a place we will come back to. Chicago Pizza was good, they could have cut it better but still tasty. Louie was our server and he was top notch. Amazing service! It was a great value, worth every penny. The place was pretty cool too.
Walked in with a party of six and sat at a community table. Took a few minutes to get served, but we weren't in a hurry. The cheesy garlic bread was really good, but the pizza was exceptional...and I'm not a thin crust guy. It is the best pizza sauce I've eaten. If I ever visit the greater Phoenix area again, I will eat Spinato's.
While friendly and helpful, the waiter was a bit forgetful. He forgot our cheesy garlic bread orders. Also, the mtn dew ran out and had to remind him about the replacement. We did get our bread and drinks straightened out to our satisfaction. The picture is of the lunch specials as of July 2023.
