I was very impressed by the food choices and menu options. The staff kept the place clean and they checked on us every now and then. The Bloody Mary drinks might be too spicy for some, but I enjoyed it. The steak was cooked perfectly and so was the poached eggs. I would come again and the view of the area was very nice. đź‘Śđź‘Ť

Thank you for asking “service animals” to be kept at outside seating. Some people have “pet” dander allergies. Now that is out of the way. Great food! $15 for steak and eggs. Top quality ingredients in everything. Love the toast. The fresh squeezed orange juice is very sweet. Great food at reasonable prices.

Excellent food and great staff. Matt's Big Breakfast in Tempe is located across from the ASU stadium inside the plaza with the big reflective glass of the State Farm buildings. They are open daily 6:30am-2:30pm serving breakfast and lunch. You can stroll right up to the lake and walk off your food baby after eating. If Tempe is not convenient, they have several other locations around Phoenix. Check google for other locations and business hours.

Went here after asking Google to show nearby restaurants. There were tons in the area (Tempe) but I chose this place since they had breakfast and lunch and because I haven't heard of them before. The place is very nice and clean. The staff are very kind. I got the hickory burger and it was absolutely delicious! There is chipotle in the sauce which added an extra kick. My father got the Five Spot. He loved it. The rest of the day he talked about the wonderful breakfast he had and I talked about the wonderful burger.

Saturday mornings are busy, so it may take a good 15min to be served. Food is fresh, although a bit too low on the salt for my taste. They have the best hash browns I've ever had in AZ!

What an awesome new location! Fantastic open air restaurant with large portion items that are just as tasty as they are huge! John greeted us at the door and seated us as soon as a table was prepared for us. He checked on us several times during our meal and was extremely polite and personal. Rachel, our server, was less than talkative and not interested in any dialogue beyond the bare minimum. Luckily, that was the only blemish on our entire experience here. I definitely plan on returning again soon for another delicious meal!

I go each time I'm in Phoenix! The food is pretty tasty. I go for my tried and true Belgian waffle, bacon, eggs, and hash browns. The bacon came out a little crispy but our lovely wait "team" - go server partners - quickly corrected.

Good but not great. The service was hit and miss. When it hit it was great, but the misses stood out. An example was that I didn't have one waiter/waitress, but an ensemble of people checking in on me at the bar stools. One guy was my waiter (I presume since he took my order and delivered my check) but I had a total of 4 people check in on me at random times (which was nice to be taken care of). It's still early for this wait and cook staff since they just opened. Not bad service (as I see in other reviews) but I can see improvements that can be made and potential conflicts when it can be busy. (it wasn't busy when I was there) The steak, eggs (over easy) and hash browns were cooked to my liking. I will be coming back for the food!

Great food and wonderful service. I tried their scrambled egg with salami and griddled cakes. Both were delicious. I enjoyed every bite. Well done!

Absolutely did not think this breakfast was going to be this good. I saw some review's and yeah it sounded and looked good but wow did it live up to expectations. Small space but we sat right away. Servers was nice, manager came by and ask how our food was. Place was clean and food was cooked perfect. Will definitely go back when we visit Phoenix again.

I tried out this spot today and was very happy with the food, service, and prices. I chose the Cheese Omelet with provolone, mushrooms, roasted peppers, and onions with a side of tomatoes (since it’s cutting season). It was a delicious combination! Will definitely come back soon next time I’m in town!

Great place for breakfast and lunch, griddle cakes were awesome, clean and everything is wholesome and fresh. Drinks are limited and soda really isn't offered RC but doesn't take away from the meal enjoyment.

Youve got to start out with their bloody mary with all the xtras! Their straight forward menu lets you know they do what they do well. ...and BiG. Theyre VERY popular on weekends! They have breakfast and lunch options too, and its very fresh. There an outside are but no smoking. And your in a business complex so dont forget to validate if your going to be more than 2 hours in the parking garage.

Nice place! I had "The Skinny" scramble that came with a salad. Eggs were fluffy a spinach, cheese and sausage were a perfect mix. And they'll serve you a bloody mary if you want to kick your day off with a bang!

The food is always amazing. Hashbrowns are perfect, omelettes are big and deadly awesomebecause of their ingredients. I just tried the burger because I love the breakfast so much, why change? Well, in glad I switched it up because this is daily one of the top 5 burgers in town that isn't loaded with pretentiousness. It's just a great burger because of the high quality dead cow. If you're in town you owe it to yourself and to me to give this a try.
