While staying at the Home2 Suites for a business meeting, my group of 24 ate here 2 times for lunch. I then ate here solo for dinner 1 night. Everything was delicious and portions were very large! Service was 5 star while eating at the bar and in the dining room. The manager was also frequently checking on our group during lunch. The side salad could be a meal, very large portion! I tried the chicken avocado wrap, Uncle Sam bacon cheeseburger, and the Chicago Dawg (blew my mind!). Fries were also delicious. Nice atmosphere with tvs to watch. Full bar. Eating here 3x in a row was not a problem at all, very enjoyable!
I had an amazing experience at Badlands bar and grill on Good Friday. I tried their walleye fish and chips, which were absolutely phenomenal - my wife loved it too! The atmosphere is unique, like a hidden little gem and secret that I just found out about. The location feels like a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.
What's more, the owner is a veteran and an incredible female entrepreneur - meeting her was a highlight of my visit. I highly recommend this spot not only for the delicious food, but also for the great staff and ownership. If you're looking for a new restaurant to try in the area, make sure to check out Badlands bar and grill.
Stopped in for quick bite to eat and the bar was big and had good vibes. Our bartender was great and offered drink recommendations. We ordered a few old fashion drinks which were 8/10’s and some cheese curds that were elite. Would definitely stop by again.
Stopped by here after work to grab a bite to eat. I ordered a bison burger at the bar, along with a beer. The atmosphere and the service was great. The burger was pretty good as well, I definitely come back here again, as I saw that there was live music being set up. I love live music!
I recently visited this local restaurant that served the most delicious fish and chips I've ever tasted. From the moment I took my first bite, I knew I was in for a yummy treat. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection! Crisp on the outside, yet incredibly tender and flaky on the inside. The chips were golden brown and perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of salt.
The service from Joe was friendly and prompt, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience.
If you're a fan of fish and chips, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed.
My partner and I visited the Badlands Bar & Grill on a whim after looking at restaurant options on Google maps. When we first arrived we were greeted immediately and sat at an open table. There was a live musician doing cover music as well! The manager approached us during our visit to ensure we were enjoying our time and it really made us feel special. Both my partner and I ordered the Blackened Chicken Alfredo which we thoroughly enjoyed! The Greek Fries were an excellent starter for the night as well, they were seasoned and sauced to perfection! We’ll definitely be returning when we visit the Phoenix area again!
Excellent quality. Lots of dinner options. Nice seating. Lots of TVs. They also have a nice outdoor area. The servers are really friendly and there is not much wait time for food. Really good experience on multiple visits. Definitely reccomend
We had the walleye fish and chips, honey hot bone-in wings, and blackened chicken alfredo pasta. All dishes were prepared great. Wings tasted fresh, and on the crispier side, blackened chicken was delicious along with the creamy alfredo, and the fried walleye was fantastic with the beer battered fries (chips).
The service was great. The hostess and waitress were polite and attentive. Food came out quickly after ordering and drinks were refilled and refreshed.
Live entertainment was a pleasant surprise, not too loud and great selection of songs.
Glad I was able to meet up with family for a great evening and meal @ Badlands Bar & Grill.
Rated 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a bit pricey. Everything else was fantastic. Very laid back welcoming vibe. Pictured are the loaded tots app and the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich with Brussels.
What a great find! Super friendly service. The food was exceptional in flavor, appeal and price. I have never had such spectacular Brussels sprouts ever! The cocktail menu is so fresh. This place is so worth checking out.
This place is great and has an awesome happy hour!
Definitely go check them out!!!
Great find! New restaurant right next to Home2Suites and Hilton Garden Inn on South Price Street. Laid back atmosphere with cool vibes. Indoor and outdoor seating. Giant Connect 4. Great food and great staff. Super informative and friendly. Good drink (beer, wine, and liquor) selection with good local beers. Tons of seating and clean restrooms. Happy hour specials. Definitely recommend!
Great please with great food and fun staff.
Check them out for happy hr, it ends at 5 though.
Important note, their short chairs SUCK to sit in and you WILL probably rack your Achilles tendon in then and it hurts... Literally the worst part about this place is the table chairs they look nice but suck to sit in
Hidden gem for sure!! Stopped here today for lunch. Great service and atmosphere. Lunch was delicious. The Avocado chicken sandwich with side salad was SOOOO good!! Because it was lunch we didn’t try the cocktails but we will be returning to try them next.
We had a group of 10 for a Friday HH at 500pm for a birthday group.
Called at 4 to secure the reservation, The manager (I forgot his name, but he was very professional and nice) on duty was quick to secure a high top for us before our arrival.
Reese, our server, was great. Food was on point. The musician playing was exceptional. Overall, we had a great time and will be back.
Thank you for a great evening.
Stopped in for drinks & appetizers with a group of people. We ordered one of each of the appetizers except wings. All of them were delicious. Decent beer selection on tap. Delicious specialty drinks as well. A little pricey but offset by happy hour pricing.
I went for Carvin Jones not expecting anything super impressive food wise. I then had my new favorite thing - The Spartichoke!
"Artichoke, spinach & cheese dip, crispy Brussels, caesar caper aioli, served with tortilla chips"
I would make that drive again just for this food.
Also, not terribly expensive. Along with my appetizer I also had a vodka and orange juice. My total, with tip, was about $30.
I don’t ever write any reviews of places I go to eat but this place deserves a review after my visit today. This place was wonderful! The waiter was very polite and the place is very clean and beautiful inside. I tried the Roosevelt burger and it was the best burger I have ever tried in AZ. This is a hidden gem and needs to be more recognized. You must go here to try the amazing food and drinks. This place is worth spending your money unlike other restaurants. I will definitely be back! 5/5 🥰check out their fb/ig page because they also have events to attend and won’t disappoint!
Great place with a huge patio with shuffle board, Jenga, corn hole and plenty of seating inside and out.
