If you want the very best Pho in the Valley then Shady Park is where you want to go. I love the spicy tan tan men flavor , extra noodles and pork belly. I also add the spicy garlic paste that they smear on the side of the bowl. The flavor is incredible. I highly recommend everything else on the menu but the Pho is my favorite

This place is a hidden gem! Great food, solid beer selection, and a wonderful staff! Awesome outdoor patio/bar, with misters and portable AC so you can hang out there all year-round. Don't forget your furry friends either.... whole patio is dog friendly! I will definitely be back there soon!!

My lady and I went here due to the reviews and friends raving about it, but still had low expectations due to their incredibly diverse menu. Long story short, if they offered 10 stars, I’d easily give them a 10. The food was amazing! We had the ramen and sushi. Their beer selection was great as well. The best part though, the service by our waiter, Chris I believe was his name. He was very knowledgeable/helpful with the menu, patient, and funny. We’ll definitely be back to Shadypark!

Outdoor venue, awesome food and as Tempe as Tempe gets! Close enough to Mill but far enough away to feel like your neighborhood bar. They have made a HUGE effort to bring music back to our downtown and continue to go above and beyond in every way. Check out their Open Mic on Tuesday nights and get yourself out to a show on the weekends!!!

This is by far my fave place to go too. I can come on a weekday, have some amazing food and then be back on thE weekend and dance with my friends. The sound is awesome, the people that work there are the best people I’ve ever met in the restaurant industry. Always greets you with a smile. I never have a dull moment. I really wish I could just tuck a sleeping bag away there and camp the whole weekend because I never wanna leave lol. Gooo I promise you’ll never wanna leave either.

Never been to this place until last night on a pub crawl. It's a cool little hideaway. Nice patio with misters to keep you cool in the heat. Will definitely be back to check it out again!

Easily one of Arizona’s most beloved venues. The vibe and atmosphere here are unlike anywhere else. Shady consistently brings top musical talent to perform and have a wonderful production set up. On top of that the food is awesome as well. Some of my favorite nights ever are spent here!

If you are looking for a Japanese fusion place then Shady Park is the right spot. I loved the experience here but took out 1 star as the Japanese food could have been more authentic. I am not blaming the restaurant as they need to adapt to local taste. Had salmon sashimi and it was quite fresh. And then also had some sushi and ramen. Food was served hot and it was all fresh. Also the person who was attending me was Jamie and she was very honest and clear with her opinion on all items in the menu. Good attitude.

Great food, if a bit pricy. We visited (me, wife, 12yo daughter and 15yo son) for 12yo birthday on Sunday night. Good and drinks were great, we all had ramen which was wonderful. I had the curry house bowl, the others all enjoyed their bowls too, and had plenty leftover (son and daughter both got the 'big' bowls). Definitely get the soft egg if your bowl doesn't include one!

It is a nice small place with good vibes. The cocktails were good especially the Zen Garden. The food was delicious, top ramen bowls and curry, very filling and full of flavor. The server made sure we were well taken care of and provided great drink advice. More on the pricier side but well worth it.

Super lively and unique place! You seat yourself; there is indoor and outdoor patio seating. There also seemed to be a club/dance floor in the back that opens up later in the night! Nice selection of food and drinks. Cocktails are a bit pricy. The Spicy Shoyu ramen is actually quite spicy.

This is a pretty neat place. Good selection of food and drink options with some interesting twists. I was not really a fan of my particular dish (curry ramen) but the other ramen we ordered was really good (chicken soup ramen). I would like to return and order a different dish. Service was pretty good as well. Had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, not too bad.

Love the art work that they have. Bathroom was clean. Parking is a little challenging since its by mills Ave which is like downtown tempe.

Handful of delicious vegan options ("chicken wings", "fish" tacos, pizza, and ramen!) Wonderful service and a great space to chill with friends. Be careful about getting lost in their extremely trippy murals ;) Can't wait to return!

Great drinks, attentive service, awesome open air vibe for some covid friendly seating even for the most health conscious and careful. The curry Paitan was delicious! (Pictured) keep in mind this was not during an event. The vibe is MUCH different during days where they have a performance or weekend parties.

Spicy tuna sushi and the spicy soyu are quite spicy - and therefore great! It's a cool place to sit outside under the trees, and the paintings on all the walls are a trip. *2022 UPDATE* Everything is still delicious! They also have a great happy hour every day until 7pm now.

Easy to miss, but worth finding! Went there on the 4th of July 2017. A couple friends and I stopped by for lunch. Chris was our server - he was very easy going and fielded a lot of questions from my friends whose only experience with ramen was the stuff in a cup. One of my friends can't have pork and the other can't eat spicy food, both found a Ramen they could eat. They have a "mix and match" approach; choose the kind of meat, broth and a few other options that sound good and you are on your way to a tasty meal. Overall I'd say they strike a good balance between traditional and American style ramen. I've been to 4 restaurants in the valley and I'd say they were the best primarily because of the quality of the meat. Out the back there is a decent sized patio with a ping pong table and a small stage where they host open mic nights and that sort of thing. I believe Chris said they're closing for a remodel during the summer of 17 so be sure to call first.

The whole experience was amazing especially for my first time. I can’t wait to come back in. The atmosphere was relaxed with a vibe. Even general manager, Tim, was a pleasant encounter. Bella was our server and she did not skip a beat. The only downside was that a sushi roll I ordered as an appetizer came out after I finished my meal, but that’s because buddy got a huge order before my ticket popped up. The sushi was alright, I’ll be back for the ramen!

I've only been here a handful of times, but it's great. They have tons of vegan options (which are labeled on the menu), and all of the ones I've tried have been delicious. Tonight I got the vegan wings in buffalo sauce with vegan ranch for dipping. They were super tasty, and they came with a couple of celery and carrot sticks, which are unpictured (I ate them, haha). I also got a sake bomb, which was exactly what I expected. I also was not aware that they have live music all the time. Tonight there was a show, which I did not expect! It's definitely an added bonus.
