Simply the best for any sweet treat! They have a great walk-in shop but specialize in custom orders. The husband-wife team does a fantastic job creating delicious sweets from scratch. Highly recommend for any occasion when you want your treats to taste even better than they look!
The people are truly as sweet as their dessert. They are such good people and the food there is fresh, nothing frozen, no processed ingredients, overall fantastic!! People make any place a home, no matter if it's their work place or their house, beautiful to see this bakery have a homey environment. I love this bakery!���� ��
The cake was awesome! Everyone loved the simple look of our cake that we wanted, but they were most impressed with the filling: to die for! We even have extra to enjoy!

Although the custom cake was not decorated exactly the way I asked it to be and there was no one there that could fix it. The guests didn't know the difference and we're very impressed with the amount of detail. Several said it was the best cake they have ever had! Everyone loved it.
I wish I could give 10 stars! We have been using HoneyMoon Sweets for family Occassions for years so of course they did my wedding cake as well. They were so accommodating working with me via email and phone calls because I live 1.5 hours away. The cake came out EXACTLY as I wanted it, better even! They designed a bananas foster flavor for me that was to die for and as always, the chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse was unbeatable. Thank you thank you, honeymoon sweets!

I remember hiring Joan & her husband when they first came to the Valley to do all of our desserts at my ex-husband's coffee house, Gold Bar Espresso, in Tempe back in the '90s. She has done numerous special occasion cakes for us throughout the years as well & we just picked up another birthday cake today! Best bakery in the Valley! I highly recommend!!

As much as it was disappointing to see whole foods stop selling those carrot cakes I was thrilled to find out that actual pastry shop making them. Now I can get the even bigger sized carrot cake hehe.

This place is AMAZING! The lemon tart it so good. I can't even explain in words. Yes, really it is that good. If you love lemon, go there. No run there. It melts in your mouth! I love the lemon the most. However the coconut cake, is delicious! They have so many different ones to try. They are beautiful, as well as tasty. The staff has to be the kindest, I have met. Not just one, but all of them. I drive from the West Side of Metro Phoenix. That is really how good it is.
I ordered a custom red velvet cake for Mothers Day and it was excellent! The order process was easy, the cake was GORGEOUS, and it tasted just as good as it looked. My mom loved it

We ordered petite sweets and petit fours for our wedding in lieu of a wedding cake and they were amazing! Alisa and her crew at Honeymoon Sweets were so easy to work with and plan everything out and they even delivered to our venue in downtown Phoenix. The desserts that we ordered were so beautiful and tasted incredible. I felt that their prices were reasonable for the work that goes into making their sweets look and taste like perfection. I would highly recommend Honeymoon Sweets to anyone who is looking for desserts for any kind of party or gathering, you cannot go wrong! I have been and will continue to go back for all my sweet-tooth needs, it's worth the drive from wherever you are!
We found Honey Moon Sweets through a friend and we are so glad we did. We weren't sure if we wanted a cake or to do more of a sweets table for our wedding in March 2021 and as soon as we tasted their cake, we knew we needed it! Their cake is not overly sugary sweet and they have SO many variations of flavors, mousses, and icings. We want to be able to buy their tasting box we got for our wedding tasting, it was delicious!! They let us fully customize what we wanted. The overall design was a little different than what we were expecting, but it still turned out beautiful and delicious. There was none left at the end of the night so we know everyone else loved it just as much as we did! I would highly recommend them for any cake needs!

I was visiting from Oregon with Friends. Unfortunately, we only are able to get together on vacation about once a year and I have a tradition of always seeking out very good cake in every city we meet in and we all share and delicious cake. It's a tradition that's carried through 17 cities now. After asking around and doing some research I had two different people say they highly recommended this bakery. It was a nice morning so I walked 2 miles there from the hotel. The staff was very helpful and took all the cakes out of the case for me even though I didn't ask them to so I could look at all of them. They all looked so amazing I had a tough time deciding. I went with a caramel cake with caramel mousse and buttercream and it was heaven. All five of us said that it was absolutely wonderful. It was very moist and very light. I will definitely return next time I am in Phoenix.
We were in search of a two tier cake pretty last minute in the peak of Arizona's wedding season. Honeymoon Sweets Bakery was not only able to accomate us, they were so kind and helpful with my many questions. We used their online ordering option, and we were set to go in just minutes. Although we didn't use the cake for a wedding, it is an "elopement" cake, so I thought all Bride's-to-be that are considering using Honeymoon Sweets should know how amazing it was!
The cake was not only beautiful, but so delicious! I typically HATE frosting.. this frosting was delicious and not too sweet. We got the lemon cake with a raspberry mouse type filling and everyone was raving about it!

Small bakery focusing on wedding style cakes and delicate and delightful sweets. The lady that helped us was very friendly and willing to chat about the different options in the display, which rotate daily. We bought a variety and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Will definitely be returning.
Everything I have tried was really good. I love the peanut butter cookies, the lemon tarts, the chocolate mousse cake. But I tried more, and they were all good to great.

I ordered a lemon meringue pie for my husband for his birthday. I've been wanting to make him one for many years but I know they are complicated and a lot of work. This pie was beyond scrumptious!! I wish I could have eaten the whole thing but I could only taste it. Thank you for the love put into your baking!!!
