Ordered the hot pastrami melt on sourdough with all the toppings. It was so so so tasty! I'd definitely order the same meal again next time.
The employees were friendly and made sure to make my order to perfection. The only complaint I have is that the store was slightly too chilly inside, so I ate outside.
i just had a reg turkey and provolone but let me tell you the service, it was the service for me... this young person with pink hair served me correctly.. with sauce on the side .. Give that Person A raise Lort LOL
Once I walked in I was happy to see all the subs had pictures of what they looked like right next to the name of the sub! They have salads and cold/ hot subs. I ordered the hot sub chicken breast with avocado and bacon on a sourdough roll. The sandwich was delicious and not skimping on any portions. Also the facilities were very clean and customer service was relatively Pleasant but not overbearing. I would definitely recommend coming here
This is my favorite place to grab a quick lunch near my workplace. I come here about once a week. I'm giving service only 1 star today for the following reason: a new employee working at the sandwich assembly counter has very long braided hair (down to waist level). As she was leaning over the sandwiches she was preparing, the ends of her braids were dragging across the food. This is gross and unsanitary. Get all your employees to tie their hair back behind their head, wear hairnets, or similar to comply with approved safe food handling practices and I'll change my rating.
Updated review - I returned for lunch about a week after I posted the review above. Was pleased to see that all employees with long hair had it tied back behind their heads. Thanks for listening and taking action.
Today, I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Melt w/ Baked Lays. I recommend Port of Subs as the sub I consumed today had been delicious.
Its a sandwich shop ment for large volume of people! With 2 separate sandwich lanes there is hardly ever a long wait despite always being packed.
They also have a lot of healthy eating options and make it easy to see what you are really geting calorie wise, which is always a plus.
The parking lot is EXTREMELY busy from about 11:45am to 1ish, plan to park in the back parking lot.
I work at a hotel nearby and come to this location often. Fenesse always has a great attitude and that’s the main reason I like to come here. He also makes the best subs!
Sandwiches are good, The line gets long during lunch because there aren't many restaurants left open to serve all the business in the area but they have 2 separate ordering lines. The second line is in the back of teh room so it is not immediately visible to patrons when they first walk in.
Sandwiches are a bit pricey for what they are but I think that is the way it is everywhere now? I have noticed the employees look sad. Not sure that matters here but I do notice it often and hope it is not the job treatment
Haven't been to this location in a few months, but it has changed. The team working around noon on 11/18 was rocking it. Great teamwork, happy to be around each other, and that translated to a great experience for those they were serving. Thanks!
Went to Port of Subs on the corner of Washington and Priest Drive on the edge of Tempe. Service was great. Very nice staff there. Asked if I wanted them to clean the slicer and I said yes and it was nice and clean. I ordered the veggie, three cheese and guacamole and it was so good. Nice lighting and ambiance there and not really busy at lunch time. Will go back and have subs from them again.
Nice little sandwich place! They're always clean, the line usually isn't too long, and the subs are just delicious! They introduced me to putting oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper on a sandwich, and let me just say it's a game changer. The potato salad is literally the best! I highly recommend this place.
This place has been constantly good over the years. Kind staff that can work the lines quickly. Very clean inside and the staff are constantly wiping things down, cleaning their area and washing their hands. I'm actually really impresses with the hygiene. You can always tell food standards by the produce, and the lettuce is always crisp and onions fresh and not bleeding. My last visit was above and beyond when the manager Brain helped me. Kudos.
Really well-organized pick up system during the weekday lunch rush. I ordered two days in a row and the staff was handling the volume very efficiently and with smiles! Always a good sandwich too.
