We didn’t get any pizza and instead got pasta dishes and a calzone with mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and bread sticks. We were split between the mozzarella sticks (half liked them, the other half didn’t), and all of us liked the breadsticks. Two of us got dishes with sausage, and they said that there was too much sausage, but didn’t mind it. I got penne with alfredo, which was pretty good, and the one of us who got a calzone said it was good. The serving sizes were large and we all had to bring leftovers home. All food came out hot, and our server was very kind and patient. The bathroom stall was a little cramped. It was a bit expensive, but overall worth it.
Great place. Spacious and was pretty empty at the time I visited. The hostess seemed to be working as the server as well, she was running between tables but was very friendly and accommodating with all of our questions.
The pizza and wings delicious, as was the pasta, and then bread sticks are kid approved (3 year old ate them up).
All-in-all it was a good dining experience.
So I have Been coming here for about over a year now give or take. So the food is just amazing all the time. Never had a problem with the pizza as in it being burnt or undercooked. The sauce is really tasty and delicious. It's actually my favorite tasting sauce from any pizza place. The passion bread with marinara sauce is really delightful. Really nice crunch on the passion bread. I did order their wings one time, but in my personal opinion didn't care for them too much. Not that they're bad or anything it's just a different style of hot wings I'm not used to. More of a heavy pepper taste. I would rate them 3/5. Still good just a style I'm not used to.
I would have rated them a perfect 5 stars, but the only problem I have here is probably the customer service. Been coming here for about over a year and I never feel welcomed at this place. You stand there for seems like forever with everybody staring at you as soon as you walk in the door. Sometimes the staff takes a little while to greet you, seat you, or to just even notice that somebody is standing there. I can see why people just leave after standing there for 5 minutes in front of the door awkwardly and nobody greeted them.
Overall love this place; love the pizza. If they just worked on the feeling welcomed part, then we would have a home run. pizza's so good I'm still going to come around and deal with the weird energy.
Jamie and Macy are the only factor keeping this establishment a perfect restaurant.
The fact is Ryan is a poor example of a general manager.
Simple manager tasks are not met. For example, not ordering the proper amount of food to prepare the menu dishes. Not ordering beer kegs which as a result draft beer runs out on a Football Sunday…..lost customers.
Please continue to patronize Streets of New York only for the awesome work Jamie, Macy, John and TJ do. The staff provides a “Cheers” atmosphere.
Went to watch football with friends. Bar / Restaurant was clean, plenty of seating, service was good and the food was good also. Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible. Plenty of televisions to watch your favorite team!
Samantha was a fantastic server! Had a great time sitting in her section, food was great and timely.
Wonderful service, friendly staff great choices and not just in their great pizza. Tonight was spaghetti and meatballs special (Wednesday) filling with perfectly seasoned meatballs. This is one of our favorite places. Always feel so welcomed and valued. One of the best places, a fun place.
Over the years, we jumped from one pizza restaurant to another. But, we've never found another pizza that we love as much as Streets of New York. We're now done with the inconsistencies of others, and Streets of New York is now our go-to for the best pizza.
Real home cooked spaghetti. Just what I wanted. The host was kinda bland and unenthusiastic, but she went and got my food when it was ready so we're good. Kinda expensive tho, expect to pay around $20 minimum.
Take it from a New Yorker. I like it! The best thing to order is their chicken parm! Check out picture for reference! The presentation, the taste, and the quality of ingredients! Very rare that you find a place using Italian semolina bread! Plus the fries seem beer battered!
Get the broccoli pizza....WOW best pizza I have every had in the Phoenix area. Make sure you get the mikes Hot Honey.
This has always been a great restaurant and a great place for good pizza and great wings. I've eaten here many times, just never at this particular place. It was a great atmosphere very clean and the staff was friendly.. have a good day, yall
Wide range of pizzas, pasta, sub sandwiches, and other things. Our favorite pizza is the New York Combo, which has pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onions, etc. You should definitely get any of their pizzas hand-tossed. You can create your own pasta dish or have one of their specialties such as Baked Ziti or Chicken Parmigiana. There is a kids' menu for the little ones. It is never that busy, and you can always find an open table. Plenty of TVs are playing sports, and the service is always on-point.
Have been here a couple times the last couple months. It is our go to after the location at Arizona Ave and Baseline closed. Like service and food still, but lately when you first come in last couple times seems you can smell the restroom. Maybe needs looking into?
We had a big party of 20 people on a tuesday evening and the service was excellent! Jaimie took great care of us and food was on point
Great salads and balsamic thin pizza.
Plenty of sports on multiple screens.
🙂🙂
Clean, friendly, good pizza. I do have to say that it makes me feel like nervous when a server does not write down your order and sure enough my child's chicken fingers were forgotten. Not a deal killer but still she waited for her food while we had ours.
