Wanted some fried rice and decided to branch out from my usual spots. Was looking at the menu and saw "Devils fried rice" and, being a spice head, was immediately set on trying it. The menu and the person on the phone were sure to check that I actually wanted it, due to its spice level. This is a good practice as it's nice and spicy, definitely spicier than most people would enjoy, but I loved it. The flavor was fantastic, the heat was perfect, and the Chinese sausage was tasty. I also got the beef curry rolls, which were excellent. Would recommend this place for sure.
They have amazing food. My favorite thing is that they will cook any of their dishes with tofu. The owners are very nice and they know my order by heart. They are very busy, so sometimes ordering delivery takes a while. Pick-up is done with 20 minutes, usually. It's nice to call and order on my way home and just.pop in and pick it up.
The best Chinese food in the Valley of the Sun! I’ve tried them all, and Chopstick Express will not disappoint. Each entree is made to order, with the freshest ingredients with superb taste. The owners are friendly and respectful, focusing on customer satisfaction. They offer fine dining quality food at an economical price. I highly recommend Chopstick Express to anyone. Their attention to detail for quality food is evident in every order they place. I recently ordered chicken fried rice to go and noticed they pocked two small holes in the to-go container allowing the heat not to build condensation in the container, keeping the food fresh and keeping it from getting soggy. It’s this level of quality care that truly sets them miles apart from their competition.
Gotta be one my favorite places in tempe for sure. Look at this appetizer portion! So worthy for every single penny. The BBQ pork slice, a.k.a. Char Siu, is so dang good. And taste as good as it was even I reheated it the next day.
The food here is amazing and so is their customer service! We got the lunch combos of sweet and spur pork, cashew chicken, and orange chicken.
Had lunch here Saturday and it was so delicious! Ordered the Kung pao chicken lunch deal and it was the perfect level of heat, and very tasty overall. The spring roll and crab puff were equally great. The service was friendly and prompt, only waited maybe 8-10 min for the order. Overall very impressed with the food and will be back soon to try other menu items!

So delicious 😋 my congratulations to u and the chef . I will definitely be back especially for thoes monster wings !!!🤔who would have known that a Chinese restaurant could have maybe the best spicy wings in Arizona!! Can't wait to try everything on the menu !

I got it on doordash and im 20 min away and it was still fresh when I got it. The orange chicken is the best. (Especially when you got the munchies ;)
Our favorite restaurant! We order from them just about weekly and it’s always a crowd pleaser whenever we have a party, and it’s always amazing and consistent whenever we have it for dinner.
All of the veggie dishes are super tasty!!! This is my go to spot.

Chopsticks Express restaurant manager Pancho makes all their customers feel welcome and like family. Open till 9:30pm throughout the week and on the weekends they stay open late til 10:30pm. If you're running errands late and you want some hot tasty food be sure to stop in at Chopsticks Express in Tempe you'll be glad you came, leaving with a hot meal and a smile.
My wife and I have been coming here since we were teenagers for the crispy tofu. We still head into tempe to grab some.
My family have been ordering from Chopstick Express religiously for over 8 years; we never order oriental food from anywhere else. The food is ALWAYS hot, perfect, and the people there are fantastic whether you carry out or get delivery. I couldn't recommend any restaurant more.
I heard a lot of bad reviews on this restaurant. The reviews are mostly from years ago. I’m not sure what happened back then, but Today was my first time trying this place and I absolutely loved the food. I ordered the orange chicken combo, teriyaki combo and the shrimp with broccoli and mushrooms combo. I tried all combo's and I will definitely be going back…. Those that had a bad experience years ago should definitely revisit and give it another try…. Definitely worth it! Great customer service and nice atmosphere in general! Thanks Chopstick Express. I have eaten here for years and aside from the old "Sing Hi", that used to be in downtown Phoenix near Central & Jackson, this was the best and fastest Chinese restaurant in the area and possibly all of the Phoenix metro area. Unfortunately the visit I had today was well under par. Counter service was great as always but the food that used to take 5 to 10 minutes, max, to make took at least 20 today and the pork fried rice lacked flavor. Left a bit disappointed since it is about 30 minutes out of our way now that we live in north/central Phoenix. I have faith that corrections will be made and my next visit will be just like the good ol' days. 🙏🏽 🙏🏽 🙏🏽
I've visited Chopstick Express twice in the last month, and both times were delicious! I ordered 3 dishes (hunan beef, beef with broccoli, chicken with vegetables) and some crab puffs. Each dish was delicious and fresh with large servings. The staff is very kind as well. I'm definitely going back and have found my regular spot for Chinese food!
