We decided to try this place because it was close by, and we've never really eaten there before. Staff was friendly, wait wasn't very long maybe 12 minutes. They don't really offer any appetizers that I saw on the menu, but they do have a few soups. We decided to just wait for our food to get to the table. Our server was very friendly, and recommended I got the turkey dinner which came with stuffing, mash potatoes, and carrots. I decided to have the green beans instead which turned out to be fantastic. I loved the mashed potatoes, they had texture and were creamy as well. Turkey very tender and flavorful. Stuffing was super savory, and so filling. Little side of cranberry sauce was delicious, but probably too sweet for most. I ate every bite, I believe I tasted apples in it. Even the rolls on the side were warm, and tasty. Perfect with the butter. My husband got the honey fried chicken which came with two pieces, it looked very crispy. Macaroni looked cheesy, and though I prefer a crispy top to my mac, it still looked good. Overall a nice experience. Big portions, I would try again.
The five star rating is for the professional MOD and gentleman named I believe Roy. Any managers and supervisors that have to deal with employees that are, “less than, “ deserve combat pay.
The rest of the experience would be a two star and the food was a five.
Businesses are forced to hire less than average bodies to fill positions with no experience or care for their position. No matter how much training these individuals receive, they will never grasp the concept of hospitality and they really don’t have to because you will accept it.
When a customer walks into a restaurant, the first person you see is the host or hostess. When the person can barely ask if you’re dining in, no smile , no welcome to the establishment, moves as though you are really breaking up their routine, you know you’re in for a treat.
I’m going to skip to the food which was very good. No more about that.
When you are letting the hostess know they need to add an item to the ticket since they did not take the time to look at the ticket, you know there’s going to be an issue.
There is more to this because the, “less thans,“ feel entitled to say anything to a paying customer in front of other paying customers and get away with it.
Even though my meal was comped when it was unnecessary, I won’t be back any time soon.
My advice to customers looking to be served, receive quality customer service, eat at home until things return more to normal.
There are a few really great servers and hosts around, but they are few and far between.
Been here 2x now and plan to come back as often as I can while in the area for the winter. Both times the food was exceptional! Service was also terrific. Allison was super friendly, answered all questions related to the menu, and graciously managed the people at a nearby booth when they wanted to alter or substitute almost everything on their order. Wish Bob Evans restaurant was in WI! Only critique is they need a 🔔 or some way to know when people walk in. Was slow when I visited and had to wave to be seen and seated.
I love Bob Evans, I started going to this location recently because I just moved to the area. Been there a few times with my family. The service is excellent, All the staff is so friendly and pleasant. And the food comes out in a timely manner and is always hot. Love everyone here and will continue to visit.
This Bob Evans was great! Staff was awesome and the food was really well prepared and delicious. The fresh made Banana nut bread takes me back to when I was a kid. Great atmosphere. We were stuffed when we left.
Had a bad experience before. Came back last week and had the most awesome cashier. Wish I could remember her name. She restored my love for Bob Evans. Will be back. Hopefully she's there
