Was blown away by how great everything was and the amazing service. Started off with the fried apps platter that included fried pickles, mushrooms, zuchinni, and onions. For the price alone, it included tons of food. I got the Coconut shrimp platter and my kids got the popcorn shrimp. Everything, including the sides were great, our service was attentive and the entire experience was perfect. Will definitely make this a staple when we are here. Came back the next morning for breakfast. The biscuits and gravy was killer, everything was amazing. Forgot to mention the view here was great and different from anywhere else on the island, we watched a dolphin swim by while we ate.

Awesome food. One of my favorite places on the island. Tacos and fish baskets have treated us very nicely, as well as the staff. Nice view of the water too. The Scallop Tostaditas were so good. I'll be getting those next time. On a side note... They have these little screens in the wall that show you interesting facts and give you little questions and entertaining things like that. It was so entertaining, my date and I hardly talked since we were glued to the screens. I had a wonderful time, but she says I need to open up more. I'm wondering if those screens have some wisdom for me in this situation. Guess I gotta go back and find out.

Service is good—a little expensive. We had to wait 20 minutes on an off-season Thursday Night though. Portions were large and everything we had was great! Would recommend the crab cakes as well as their fries! The shrimp broil was okay—portions were large but the flavor could have been better. Thanks for a good local seafood dinner!

What can I say…..DELICIOUS!!!! Best fish and fries basket in town. Fresh local fish and the shrimp basket was wonderful too. Breakfast is good. Everyone was very kind and prompt at checking on our table. If you stay at the KOA you will receive 10% off your bill. This place is worth the wait and price. Con- restrooms need help, big time

waited a solid 40 minutes for the table. I don't think I have done that in 20 years. However, the food was absolutely incredible. Oysters on the half shell we're not as good as I would have liked them to be, but I do know that fresh oysters in July are hard to find. Peel and eat shrimp were incredible and everything else was incredible. Service was fast for our large party of 12.

Went for dinner. There was a wait but we quickly found out why - the food is great! They have an excellent selection of appetizers, the food is fresh and reasonably priced. The place is built on an old pier and a bit wonky but it's part of the charm & atmosphere. We went back a couple of days later for breakfast and again- the food was great! Two thumbs up!

What a cute place to dolphin watch take pics and eat delicious food! We got there at 5:30 on a Friday. They don’t take RSVP so it’s first come first served. Tables were distant out for COVID reasons and staff all wearing masks and cleaning rigorously. We started w the coconut shrimp, then ordered blacked fish tacos, seafood pasta, mahi mahi fish and fried fish off the kids menu. Service was on awesome! The beans and rice that came w the blacked fish was phenomenal! Loved the coconut shrimp as they were huge and fried perfectly! Seafood pasta was DELICIOUS! Omg I love this place! If you walk back all the way to the end of the restaurant, you can watch the dolphins dip up and down and take six cute pictures w the pirate statues. You need a quarter to use the binoculars they have there; which we didn’t have but had such a great time nonetheless! Definitely worth a try!

Well worth the wait time. We had an hour and a half wait time, but thankfully there is an outside bar and seating while you wait. The food and views were amazing, and out waiter Alejandro was very attentive and friendly. Also, be sure to eat the Oyster Rockies!

With a family as large as mine (9 of us) it's a total rarity when everyone actually enjoys their food at the same restaurant. Everyone in my family gave this place a thumbs up for cleanliness, service, and food quality. Anayeli kept our table clean of used plates and trash as she came by quite often. Our waitress Jennifer kept our glasses full and our orders were accurate. I highly recommend this place of your in the South Padre Island area. We will return.

We didn't know if this was just talked up because it's "famous" or if it would be worth it, but IT IS!!! It's so very cool eating on a building built on the pier! It was really windy the day we visited so you could feel the slight movement but it made it that much more of an "adventure." Staff were all super friendly, service was good, the food and drinks were AMAZING and we spent our hour watching the dolphins swim and play right near the pier while we ate. Overall, we both said that Pier 19 was by far the best food (the nachos!!! 🤤) and drinks we had in our week on the island and we'd absolutely go again if we go back!!!

Staff was so nice. Food was amazing. Setting was beautiful. We ate at sundown and the dolphins were in the bay swimming around. So fun to see that while we were there. We'd read in a review that if you don't watch, they'll clear your plate before you're done in an effort to turn the tables. We were asked twice mid-course to have our plates removed that we were still working on. So that was true for us too. Otherwise, great!

The food was amazing. There was a 45 minute wait which ended up being a 25 minute wait. They have this mini bar outside where you can get a beer or a drink while you wait for your table to be ready. What was awesome is that we got a booth and were able to see the sunset from the table. I highly recommend this restaurant. I had some fried shrimp and a drink called Presidente Rita.

The food was okay. The views of the bay while dining was probably what I enjoyed the most. The onion ring/fries tasted very bland. I had the burger which was decent. wife had something with the fish and shrimp, she said she liked it. The service was good, but I'd go for the views not for the food.

Such an awesome restaurant. We eat here in 2016 a couple days before our wedding and we have returned to celebrate our anniversary meal when we've been back for a visit. Excellent seafood and drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic). It's casual dining right on the water on the Bay side of South Padre Island. Best time (in my opinion) to visit is late afternoon so you can enjoy watching the sunset over the bay. We've never ordered anything other than seafood and have always received top-notch service and seafood. Fond memories are always being made here as the staff are often taking photos for their guests at their tables which all overlook the water. You can't go wrong at Pier 19. It's the perfect ending to an amazing day at the beach.

The food was so good! Good portions and everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned! Also took their dolphin watch and everyone was super nice and courteous. We saw some dolphins jump out of the water. It was a great time there for sure. Would definitely recommend it!

Excellent place for breakfast. At first, seemed a little strange as you have to trek through an RV Park to here. However, once you arrive you're greeted promptly and the atmosphere is amazing. I had biscuits and gravy, while my wife had a ham and cheese omelette. Both were delicious and phenomenally priced. If you're ever in South Padre, I highly suggest giving this place a try.
