After receiving ads about Pollo Regio and their Tortilla Soup being offered for a limited time, I decided to find one near me and try it being a fan of the soup - this is the first store I’ve been to, after seeing a number of stores while driving. I placed my order for the Tortilla Soup to-go ($7.49) and also redeemed a reward from the Regio Rewards app for a churro ($2.75). While it was being prepared, I checked out their fresh salsa bar where there are small to-go cups to grab a few salsas to try. I opted for the Pico de Gallo, Salsa Verde, Cabbage with Carrots, and Salsa Roja. My order came out rather quickly and the owner and/or manager came out to greet me before I left. I could tell he was very dedicated to his business, sharing that they make all of the food in-house (he nicely pointed out some of the background “noise” and how that is the sound of the salsas being blended and made). I love the energy, dedication, and I could tell he cared about what he does from the heart. Now to the main event! I went to a few stores after getting my soup to-go, yet it remained warm and packed well when I got home. They packed the bowl of soup with care, securely with plastic wrap. It came with a side of Salsa Verde, jalapeño, and my tortilla strips I requested on the side (normally topped on the soup). The portion size is very generous and a good value for the price. There are nice large chunks of chicken along with vegetables, including celery, tomato, peppers, potato, and also pinto beans. There is plenty of broth and I really appreciated that the overall dish was not salty! It is prepared with some white cheese on the bottom as well, which melts in the warm soup, and topped with fresh avocado. Overall, I think the soup was nicely done and filling, a meal in itself. I tried the salsas and they are great! The Cabbage with Carrots has a great flavor, with touch of herbs. The Salsa Verde is deliciously creamy, with a nice savory flavor - I’d reuse the sauce for sure, like with eggs. Pico de Gallo was also tasty, but my favorite is the Salsa Roja! I could definitely eat a few portions of that. My Crema Churro, also a limited time offering, was also a nice treat that was not overly sweet. Thank you to the store for their hospitality and pride in your business - they are the type of kind-hearted, hard working people that keep local businesses going and personally inspire me! I would return to try their signature Mesquite-grilled chicken. To practice my Spanish: Gracias para el amor y cuidado en tu comida!

The food is great, but the place could do better with the cleaning. It’s infested with flies! You can’t dine in because of the flies and it sucks, because I love their unlimited salsa bar. Please invest in a fly trap, they’re cheap at a nearby Home Depot or Lowes.

Went in about 45 mins before closing everything was great but ordered flautas and they were a little dried out but the manager came from the back where he was cooking chickens and apologized to us and went and made them himself, they came out so fresh and he was so pleasant and professional and wanted to make sure the rest of our experience was awesome and it was. Hands down the best response of management I have seen in a long time. A+++ service
