Visited Chi today with my husband and another couple at the recommendation of our friends for a mid-afternoon meal. We went for the All You Can Eat and it was well worth the cost - if you can eat your moneys worth and then some! I loved that the AYCE menu included appetizers, sushi, hot entrees, and desserts. Granted the portions on some of these are smaller than the regular menu but it works out to be a good sampling of a lot of good items. I will say that the rice on the some of the Nigiri pieces of sushi I had were falling apart when I tried to eat them with chopsticks. However, the quality of the fish was so great it might be easy to just stick with Sashimi and forego the rice altogether. My husband loved the baby octopus and my favorite item was the Lake Charles Roll. The service was adequate - the waitress got our orders right every time and was attentive about keeping the table free of dirty dishes as we finished some plates and ordered more. There wasn’t a horrible wait for any of our items from the kitchen or the sushi bar. All in all it was a good first experience and we will be returning in the future.
I love this place! My husband and I have been going here since they opened 10 years ago! We love pretty much everything on their menu although the calamari batter is different it will just take some getting used to. Weather it be a date night, drinks or dinners with friends this is the place to go. The atmosphere is nice and inviting and the servers are very kind and attentive. I would recommend Jennifer or Adam these two are by far the best.
My daughters and I love this place the food is good the service is awsome . I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Service was excellent! Server was very attentive and friendly. Helped explain the menu when we had questions. Glasses never went empty. Food was fresh and tasty! Tried a little bit of everything and wasnt disappointed at all! Definitely recommend the AYCE option for first timers so you can feel out the menu in small plates and learn the flavors.
The all you can eat menu is amazing! Loved every roll that I tried and had great service. Definitely recommend!!
Had the all you can eat. It is from a very diverse menu and made to order. Every dish was some of the best I've ever had. Sushi was delicate, fresh, melt in your mouth delicious. Service was prompt and welcoming. Can't wait to go back. The only draw back was that I got full and had to leave.
So I went last night with my best friends to celebrate the completion of a crazy 98 hour week at college and the return of my best friend coming home. The sushi was amazing, the establishment is beautiful, and our waitress was extremely attentive. However, what really blew me away, was this morning I had an employee come to my house this morning and return my wallet to me. I don't know who you are, and you certainly don't know me, but thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart. I'd like to think most people would try to return a lost wallet, but in reality, not many would. To make the effort to find me and go the extra mile to ensure its return really put a huge smile on my face this Saturday morning. Thank you SO MUCH for being awesome; I'll be back many times over. �
This place is genius! The owner is so kind and the staff is prompt and on point. Yes, sometimes they get busy and get behind on their orders, but would you rather wait and have it right (and delicious!) or rushed and wrong? It wouldn't be busy if it wasn't fantastic!

Wide variety on the menu, all you can eat option is a choice, relaxing atmosphere.
This place is awesome! I did the all you can eat and I got to try baby octopus for the first time! It was great! The service was great and everything I had was fantastic! We came at the end of the night and we were one of the last ones here. I am glad we did, we got to see how meticulously they clean the ENTIRE restaurant. They scrub everything like crazy. It is very calming to know because it is a raw fish based restaurant. I will definitely return and I will recommend to everyone that is looking for great sushi, good drinks and a cool atmosphere!
This is the best sushi restaurant I've ever been to! My boyfriend and I ordered off of the "All You Can Eat" menu and it had so many choices! Very, very good deal if you can eat as much as I can. ;)
Best sushi I've ever had in Texas. And it's easy in the top 5 I've ever had! In 30 years of eating sushi all over the country.
Fast and good food fresh I clearly ate way to much under 2 hours alll you can eat!
I've always seen this place and decided to try it for date night. WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! I am now a fan. It's been a long time since I've had such a pleasant experience. The server Eric was phenomenal and very kind and polite. He explained everything to us. We decided on the all you can eat menu. The food was expertly prepared and so fresh and beyond tasty. The cozy ambiance was a plus. Everything was brought out in a timely fashion and the portions were enough at a time that you could savor the tastes and flavors of each dish. Reminded of my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam 😊

Price of $29.99 for dinner and the menu IMO was extensive. There is a 2 hour limit and they charge full price for wasted dishes. Can't blame them. Will be going back much more now. As long as they don't change the quality and service, we will be customers for life 😊 ☺️
The lunch time All-you-can-eat ($19.99) was awesome. Sushi was fresh & tasty, and the table service was attentive. Even the dessert was a generous serving size (3 deep fried Oreos, 2 big scoops of ice cream)
Amazing sushi and friendly customer service!! Everyone was so sweet! Our first time became absolutely a miracle. We will come back more often!
The place is fantastic! Service, food, and atmosphere were all top notch. There were a bit of a wait on Friday but the wait staff was quick and friendly to ensure everyone in the front to be seated as soon as possible. Love all the rolls we ordered!
We had the all you can eat. There were many options to choose from. Fried rice, shaggy dog, spicy tuna roll, tempura 🍤 & more. All so good.
The all you can eat buffet is awesome. It has basically the same items as the regular menu, only a few differences. You can get hibachi-grilled food, sushi/sashimi, and different rolls, as well as appetizers and desserts. I love eating tons of sashimi, and a few rolls. It certainly makes the $29 price worth it. The staff is always very courteous and accommodating. I highly recommend Chi's if you like sushi rolls and sashimi, it's a great value, and a higher-end experience than the price would suggest.
Was quite amazed- it turned out pretty good for a sushi buffet. Service was great and food by far better than any sushi restaurant !
Very tasty. Service was good. Some of the sushi was a bit heavy on the rice and rolls weren’t always consistent from order to order
