One of the few places left, that serves you a decent sized meal for your buck. We were greeted and seated promptly. The corn fritters with powdered sugar were such a neat surprise because I didn’t know this was something the restaurant gives you at not extra charge. I was taken aback by how delicious they were as well. During my visit we tried the shrimp tacos and a po boy sandwich and it was loaded with shrimp and they were seasoned to perfection. When you visit here bring your appetite and be prepared to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. They also have another seating area that has great decor perfect for a celebration.

Had not been in quite some time due to declining quality and rising prices. I was lucky to pick up some local sweet deals so we gave it another shot. I still think the prices are high but the food quality was also much better. The Rock shrimp were delicious, I had them broiled and blackened. You also can't go wrong with the corn fritters - I ate enough to walk out of there with diabeetus.

Seated right away. Took a minute to order drinks and appetizers. Drinks and appetizers came out at the same time. Had Fried Calamari and Gator Bites both tasted good. The main course was Chicken Alfredo for me and fish tacos for the grandson. Grandson loved the fish tacos. The Chicken Alfredo was okay. The chicken didn't have any flavor the Alfredo sauce was decent.

This place was killer my entire family loved it. By far the best food we had in Florida and these complimentary bites that tasted like nothing less than funnel cake bites were basically just deep fried donut holes that all my kids ate like they were dying! So so good!

My family and I have been visiting the Cocoa Beach area for 17 years now. This is the first year we have gone to Dixie Crossroads even though we have heard it suggested many times. We normally decided not to go due to the distance it is from where we stay. They have a great menu with some better options for the kiddos. We only one of our kids is still under 12 so it's getting harder to order for them. Prices are slightly lower here but the food is still top notch. I got 10 onces of bay scallops for 23.99. also the lobster bisque is worth the up charge for the premium side. What put the night over the top was or server. She did a great job. Very personable and she checked on us often.

I was recommended by a friend, who is a resident, to try this restaurant. I had some time to kill and get a quick bit to eat. They were absolutely that. I got in, ate, and was out in less than 35 min. I don't know what the little funnel cake balls with the powdered suger are, but they came standard and were an amazing surprise to the table. I had the coconut shrimp and bacon wrapped shrimp. Both were well made and tasted great. It's definitely worth a stop while in the area.

Kyle the waiter that we had tonight and the manager Allen are both amazing. All of the staff were great. Kyle had so much patience and we had a blast with him as our waiter. I have never been to this restaurant but we had a blast and they accepted us like family. Thank you to Kyle and Allen!!

Atmosphere: Relatively quite place, no music. Lightly decorated. Food: Doughnuts holes: A nice appetizer that they bring a "bowl" per 2 people. Powdered sugar on top, but well balanced so it's not too sweet Calamari: nice crisp on. Ith the tentacles and the rings. The banana peppers were well camouflaged with the breaded and crispy rings. The tomato sauce is a bit weak. Cheese Curds: Very good curds with great breading. I do not really like the tomato sauce with it. Shrimp and Grits: On the dryer side of the spectrum and nice flavor. The shrimp was on point and the bacon was a great addition. I like mushrooms but I think it was a bit too much mushrooms as it overpowered the shrimp and grits flavor. If I had to do it again I'd half the amount of mushrooms. I would recommend the chef to try different mushrooms to see which one is the best complimentary taste to the shrimp and grits. I do have to add that I got the half size serving, which is plenty after an appetizer Service: Solid service, quite good. Final thoughts: Good place to have a nice meal with family and friends.

Excellent broiled Royal Red Shrimp! Started off with their delectable fritters. Sides were Cole slaw and cheesy grits. Great service by Aubrey! A delightful dinner, as usual!

Excellent service with a clean and friendly space. Feeding the turtles and fish outside is a fun activity, too. Plenty of parking and service was pretty quick.

We stopped in for lunch and both had Mahi, she had the small portion and I had the large. Both were good size, but the large was huge. Everything was very tasty and the service was top notch. Love the atmosphere and the tea (1/2&1/2 was perfect). We’d go out of our way to eat here again.

In our visit to Cabo Cañaveral, picking up our kids from a cruise, we went to experience the Dixie Crossroads. We didn’t know anything about rock shrimp. Our waitress gave us the scoop. We are now believers in the Shrimp of the Rocks.

I'm happy to have been talked into trying them again. Much improved. The fritters taste good-like they used to...smaller, but tasty with pieces of corn and plentiful. My companions were quite happy with their rock shrimp. Hubby liked the regular shrimp. I enjoyed the unique shrimp and cheese grits. I've never had it with a ton of bacon bits, but it was spicy and nice. The half serving was enough for me. The side serving of broccoli my daughter in law got was huge and perfectly crunchy. Unlike many restaurants, they were not stingy with the lemon and brought a large bowl.

My wife and I stopped for dinner. We were seated in a clean area in a 1960’s wood booth by a polite friendly hostess. We were waited on right away even though it was the dinner hour. The waitress, was also friendly and helpful. My wife ordered deep fried oysters(one of her favorites) and a baked sweet potato. …I had fish tacos and mac and cheese. All food was delicious and served hot right away. The check was very reasonable also. I would definitely recommend this to all. (Also observed many families with small children). It must be a great place for them also

A little disappointed, but it's a funny story. The short version is that I never had mullet before or since eating here 40 yrs ago (no, it's not a typo), so when I had an opportunity to go back, they were out of mullet. So I went for the rock shrimp instead. The server was right. They are like little lobsters. Had a dozen of those with fries and a great side salad. Its unusual to get egg and bacon on such a small salad. And the fritters were our dessert. Thanks for the memories!

I've never had rock shrimp before. And the prices weren't too bad. Apparently that's what this place is known for, even though that's not in the recommended options. That's what I recommend to try since you probably haven't tried it. It next to normal shrimp makes it normal Shrimp seem inferior. Their instructions on how to peel a shrimp is confusing. So I'll simplify it. You peel from the middle out. I look forward to coming back again. I have been here a couple times now.
