Great pizza! We ordered 2 on a thin crust - no regrets! Was ready in 20min for pick up. Place looks authentic and clean. Enjoy!
I just had the absolute best calzone from Mama Maria’s. 10/10 recommend! The customer service was awesome. All around great place.will definitely be back next time I’m in the Poconos!!
Stopped by for a bite while on the road - BLOWN AWAY BY THE DELICIOUSNESS!!!!. Everyone thrilled by the taste. Huge portions. Amazing prices. Friendly staff. We live 3 hours from here but kids are begging to return - we will definitely be back!!!
Delicious Italian food not just pizza. Found this gem while looking to avoid the $42 pizza at Kalahari. So glad we tried more than just the pizza.
First visit and on a Thursday night. Service was prompt as were the dinners, which were piping hot. Eggplant Parmesan with Spaghetti, Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and a Sausage Parmesan Sandwich. Warm crusty bread and salad with each dinner. Both dinners will be at least another meal at home. Will definitely return and want to try the pizza, based on the wonderful meals.
We were staying at an Airbnb in the area and discovered this delectable Italian restaurant . We had the lasagna which was loaded with cheese and an amazing sauce. My wife had a delicious chicken Parmesan hero. The bread was soft and soaked up the sauce nicely.
If you are looking for something fancy this is not the place but if you are looking for delicious basic Italian do not pass it up
We were staying close by and decided to give it a try. We ordered 4 pies and two cheeseburgers. Everything was great! Especially the pepperoni pizza! The staff was awesome! I highly recommend the pizza and would most definitely return!
This place is close to the local municipal airport in Pocono mtn. I drive by it a few times a week.. stopped in for a cheesesteak. Great steak. Roll is soft and chewy. Well cooked. Had em a few times and I'll have more.. pizza is decent for what I've tried. If driving by, it's worth a stop.
Ok idk how to start this because I don't do this often but when I say hands down one of the best pizza places in the Poconos u have to come check them out. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and was told about Mike's hot honey sauce that pairs greatly with pepperoni pizza and when I say they were absolutely correct omg this sauce literally took every slice to the next level!!!!! I will never order another pizza without it!!!!! Thank you guys so much you have literally changed the pizza experience!!!!!!!
Me and the kids love this place. Best pizza spot in Tobyhanna and Mount Pocono area. Just to name a few; they make delicious pizza, chicken Alfredo, spaghetti and meatball, penne alla vodka, chicken francese, and grilled chicken salad. I definitely recommend this place.
I’ve eaten at Maria’s for about a year and a half …from time to time …”and I have to say ..everything I’ve ever ordered was great …and now they’ve given the dining room a beautiful facelift so now the atmosphere goes with the food… it’s a home run in my book. so if you’re looking for a place to get a good bite to eat.. you should try it out.. mamma, Maria’s….
The food is 10/10 best sauce and pizza in the area service is even greater they treat you wonderfully and the dining room had nice lighting and a good temperature!

Long story short, this particular pizzeria owes me a pie. I finally called them to make me that pie and wanted to be delivered to Tennersville Police Department. Since they do not deliver I had made arrangements for my friend Lobster to pick it up. He unfortunately failed me, and in return, I had called Tennersville police dept to arrange the pick up but was told by the secretary that she will not be able to have her officers to pick up that pie. So then I called my very own 940 Police Department and they picked it up (hopefully)... TBA!
A day later I had called pizzeria to confirm if everything went smooth, in return, they blocked my number. Therefore I cannot get in contact with them. So this morning I called Mount regional police department and expecting a call from them at 3 PM to find out if they got the pie. I had also contacted the owner of pizzeria by text message and I do not have a reply to which made me believe I was blocked by her as well.
Anyways, I tried to get in touch with Mama Maria via fb but could not find them, therefore, it left me no choice but to do a yelp review in hopes this restaurant will see this and get back to me to let me know if all went smooth with a pickup.

I went here over 12 years ago, just passing through a road trip! I looked it up to see if they were still open. I have a picture somewhere with the guy who served us that day. It was so good, and I will definitely be stopping by for a slice of pizza if we come back through that way again! Thanks for the happy memory and delicious food!
We have stayed in the Tobyhanna for summer trips the last few years and have tried a few different places. So far this is the one we like best. We stopped in for a quick lunch. Four adults and four kids. Everyone was pleased with the pizza and fries. Service was fine even though they seem to be Giants fans 😂.
The food is great and the staff are really nice. We enjoyed our time here and will certainly return next time we are in the area.
