Unbelievably delicious authentic Mexican food, and absolutely the best independent Mexican place in the whole area. Our food tasted like it came from someone's abuela's kitchen. Cannot recommend this place enough!!
I’ve been here twice and I don’t have a single complaint! The salsa is top notch! All of the food is spectacular! The service is friendly and quick. I highly recommend this place for any meal!
Awesome, awesome food. Loved the guacamole! The ceviche was awesome as were the pastor tacos. Great prices for the quality and the servings were substantial. Lots of meat in the tacos and enough guacamole to share. Highly, highly recommend!
great service with amazing waiters and good mexican food! would recommend !
I've been twice now and both times happy. The staff is very nice. The gentleman who served us today is very personable. For #TacoTuesday, they serve these mini-tacos with 2 tortillas for $1.50 of which I may have a new Tuesday lunch place! Keep up the good work! <3
Absolutely fantastic. This place is the real deal when it comes to the food. Perfect hole in the wall location!
We live in Conroe but were on this side of town and we didn't want to miss the opportunity to try out Mandi, let me tell you I'm so glad we went there for tonight's dinner. Starting from the minute you walk in the door with such friendly service they makes you feel right at home. Their food is amazing very authentic Mexican food unlike anything I've tried before this place takes the authenticity of their food very serious from the appetizers to their desserts. I am looking forward to our next visit already and I am willing to do the hour drive without a doubt.
Updated take on traditional Mexican food, very creative yet unpretentious. Unlike too many Mexican restaurants in this area, they don’t drown everything in salt. Love the sangria too.
The food was very good and service was good to made sure tea was always filled and quaso was good also made sure we were never empty on drinks or chips . Wait staff was very polite
I’ve been here 3 times now and it has been a great experience every time. The staff is very nice. The food is so fresh and tasty, definitely a new fav.
This is a cozy cafe! The food is great and the staff takes great care of the customers.
Fantastic food! Every dish I've tried has been delicious!! Mole' sauce is excellent!!
Our family and friends dined here and had an absolutely brilliant time. The food was amazing and the staff was very accommodating. Pure class. If you want legitimate Mexican food. Dine here.
I’ve eaten there twice and it has been consistently delicious! The food, presentation, and service are all exceptional. Congratulations to the whole team! And welcome to the Northwest neighborhood!!
Great wait staff!! They are always so friendly and smiling!! The food is so fresh and delicious! We go twice a week usually!!!!
Fresh food and friendly staff. Michael and I really enjoyed our lunch today and will be back.
Just had lunch here with my husband. The food and service was amazing. Everything was fresh and our server was sincerely very friendly without being over the top. The food was delicious and they have a full bar. We will definitely be coming back to try the drinks and desserts.
My husband saw this place when we were heading to the gym. We decided on the way back to treat ourselves. (We don't eat out often, we like to cook at home). We were not disappointed!! Mandi's was delicious!! We both got the street tacos. $10 for 4 tacos and a side of beans or rice. The beef had great flavor! I had the rice and it was great! My husband got beans and he said they tasted good. Our 3 yr old got the kids chicken flauta with rice and she couldn't stop telling us how good it was and that it beat her favorite Mexican restaurant. Their salsa was great also! We definitely recommend give it a try!! We will definitely be back!!
I decided to visit Mandi Cocina Mexicana located at 24179 SH 249 Tomball TX, 77375 since it was walking distance from my aunt’s apartment complex in a little plaza right next door to a nail salon. I decided to have a little pampering done since it was my last day in Texas, so I got my nails done first and then went right next door for lunch, how convenient!
The place wasn’t crowded, my aunt and I arrived around 1:40 pm on a Tuesday, but we noticed it started to get a little busier about 20 minutes after we got there. Our server was really nice and attentive and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We didn’t wait long to get our drinks and both decided on Non-Alcoholic ones. I ordered the Na Lolita, with grapefruit, guava, lime and sprite, and my aunt ordered the Tropical Punch with pineapple, orange, lime and agave. Of course I had to taste her drink as well and they both had the perfect amount of sweetness and citrus, and were really refreshing. We got some warm tortilla chips brought out right away with the house made salsa which was mild and so flavourful. I wanted a starter and chose the ceviche although I was a little skeptical about the tilapia since it is a fish I try to avoid, but since it had great reviews and I wanted something light tasting I went for it. Great choice, and it was the best part of the meal in my opinion. Not too “fishy” tasting which I find tilapia to be, and there was a generous amount of shrimp. The dish also came with two large fried chips, which for the amount of ceviche was not enough.
For our main courses, my aunt chose the Pastor Tacos, which since I don’t eat pork I could not try but she really loved them and stated they were perfectly cooked and great portions. She had hers with more of the house-made salsa and gave it a 10/10.
I had the enmoladas, which I was excited to try because I never had mole sauce, nor enchiladas before and was feeling a bit adventurous. The mole had an initial bitter taste, then a richness that was more satisfying. I did not like the enchiladas, but only because I am not a fan of soft tacos which were made softer and somewhat mushy due to being smothered in sauce. The chicken carbon alone with the mole sauce was great along with the side of rice and fresh avocado.
Overall we both enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere. We paid about $25 each for meals and drinks and were both too full for dessert, but maybe next time! 4.3-5 stars.
Got there just before it was packed and the food exceeded my expectations . Everything was delicious and this is definitely one of the first Mexican restaurants in the area with authentic Mexican food. Always drove by it and I’m glad we tried it for brunch 😋😋
Came for a late lunch and it was happy hour. The taco flight was perfect and the signature margarita was so good. They have good Wi-Fi too so perfect for a working lunch. This is my new go to spot!
Awesome spot! Good family spot for dinner. Excellent wait staff and quick service. From the fajitas to the margaritas to the Al pastor tacos! Definitely will be back
My father and I went there for the first time tonight. Needless to say we were blown away. Best Mexican food we have ever had. Great atmosphere and great staff. Becki introduced herself to us and she was a pleasure to say the least. She was also very informative and knowledgeable about what was in our dishes. Absolutely amazing food and experience. We will definitely be going back. Keep you the great work team.
Chic restaurant in a shopping center near 249. Prompt waiting staff and tasty reasonably priced Mexican food. We really enjoyed the fried chips and guacamole for the appetizer. I had enchiladas Verde. Very tasty although I would have liked to have tasted a bigger variety of flavors in the actual meat. Verde sauce was delicious. The chicken salad had an excellent & sweet house vinaigrette.
Delicious food! The server, Richie, was amazing and was extremely helpful during the whole process! The atmosphere was casual and inviting! Had a great time! 10/10 would recommend 👌 👏 👍
Absolutely delicious! The presentation was perfect! Pictured here is the enmoladas dish. We’ll definitely be back to try more!
