First time trying Carbone’s Market, after hearing about it from many associates and have to say I’m so glad I did this will be my to go spot for my Grinders sandwiches ect, they are absolutely phenomenal talk about getting your money’s worth excellent staff very clean was a very enjoyable experience visiting this deli!!

I told all the places in Nashville Tennessee where I lived for the last 7 years no comparison to the franchise's they have there .. I reminisce about this place and the home town feel I known to love about carbones,, it was on my to do list months before I left !! Now that I'm back home I think I'll treat myself and son's this weekend see you then �
Very huge grinder and a great price. It had tons of meat. We had pastrami and Swiss with pickles tomatoes lettuce mayo and oil . Delicious !
Unbelievably huge, delicious grinders! I get the small 8 incher and it's good for two meals. If you're in T-town do yourself a favor and go there. The best !

Moved away from the area 17 years ago. First place we stopped when we came back for a visit. Food is even better than I remember!!
An event we attended in Colebrook recently ordered a grinder tray for a crowd of maybe fifty from Carbone's Market. Super stuffed with fillings of turkey, roast beef, tuna, ham and salami along with lettuce and tomato, I haven't seen sandwiches like this since NYC at any good deli. A half was all anyone needed to be full. The salad with greens, tomato, cucumber, artichoke and ham was also very good and came with dressing on the side. Drop in to their establishment to order a delicious sky high sandwich. Sizes from hard roll to 8", 12" and 15". Carbone's offers large orders of hot dishes, salads and sides for events, too. Fresh premium meats are also sold here.
Can't beat them for quality, quantity, & friendly service. Best sandwiches in town. Their catering/party platter of sandwiches is fantastic as well. the other meats and prepared foods behind the counter are great as well. Beware the HOT chili. A+ in my book.

We decided to go for 12” SuperSub based upon another reviewers detailed (and hilarious) review.
We were not disappointed. My husband came out of the deli with a look of pure astonishment and joy as he baby carried the Italian Combo creation. It was HUGE. So big in fact that I HAD to weigh it once we got him home.
FOUR Pounds!!! Four pounds exactly and it wasn’t veg weight cause we only got lettuce which was whole leaf so that was appreciated rather than an explosion of confetti lettuce.
Bread was chewy exterior, soft interior.
Seasoning was on the bread with Mayo. Meat was fresh and high quality.
$18 for a grinder that fed 5 of us; 2 Adults, 3 kids under 10.
We will definitely be back on a regular basis.
Carbone's is the sort of place that when you try one of their sandwiches you wish you had been going there for years. The sandwiches are unusual in that not only are they of impressive size they use excellent ingredients. The prices are incredibly fair, the employees are friendly and the line moves along. I'll definitely be back.
Carbone's is legendary. You want a sandwich in Torrington? They give you an entire meal. You want a meatball sub? They give you a loaf of bread with meatballs so good you'll swear they're straight from Italy. I always called Carbone's the "Real subway" with how the subs always look like how you'd imagine the pictures of subs from subway look. Get one, you won't regret it.
Good quality bread and cold cuts, prices are insanely cheap for the portion size. It's honestly too big a portion but you can always save some for later.
