My son and his family love this restaurant and they eat there once a week so because of their recommendations we went there for dinner. We enjoyed a fantastic sushi dinner in a lovely little town, Towaco. Great value for a quality dinner, service was excellent too!! Certainly we will go back.
To the customer that said this sushi tastes like “supermarket sushi” I’m almost positive you did not eat at asian kawa. I have eaten at multiple sushi restaurants and asian kawa is by far THE BEST. My family and I go there regularly and always have had extremely fresh sushi as well as great service with very nice staff members. I would not go anywhere else for sushi and will continue to recommend asian kawa to everyone!!
It was a nice place. The staff was friendly and the environment is clean. The food was good and the prices were decent. The portions were good enough to fill us up. My children enjoyed it.

Update:
The restaurant has brought back the noodles on the hibachi lunch special, and improved on the items. They took the feedback the proper way. I respect that they are listening to their customers. I give them 4 stars and I am hopeful that they will return the salad as well. Thank you.

I am a regular at Asian Kawa, and recently they changed some of their recipes, and not for the better.
The hibachi steak lunch was amazing, it came with side of tasty rice, veggies and noodles. The steak was made to perfection with nice seasonings and abit of garlic. Now they increased the price by $3 or $4 and they removed some of the sides. They started using some weird sweet demi-glace sauce on the steak which was subpar, and for some reason one piece of shrimp!
I don't understand what if someone is allergic to seafood, it is not mentioned in the menu or anything if I order steak hibachi I don't want shrimp on my plate.
I hope they use this feedback and revert back to their original recipes. I don't mind the price increase but cutting back on food and using cheap ingredients it's just unacceptable.
Seems like they are under new ownership. I was surprised how how fast delivery was! Food quality was great! Very fresh and delicious! Will definitely be back!

I have been to this very clean, very nice restaurant twice. Both times I was warmly greeted by the staff. Both times it was take out-food was delicious ! Nice portions, super selection. Glad they chose Towaco! Definitely will be my go to !
Delicious food. The Pad Thai I ordered will be three meals for me. Others with me also had leftovers. Their Thai Ice Tea was also very good. Very friendly, family owned business. They were attentive to our needs.
Love this place for sushi. Not the best I have ever had, but very good and nicely priced. They also get specials in from time to time that they will offer. If you get hibachi meals, somtimes they go very heavy on the garlic. I like it, but you may want to ask when you order to go easy on the garlic.
Cosy, calm, and enjoyable atmosphere. Hands down my favorite sushi place in the area. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly.
