Had a delightful time early evening dinner on the patio with my wife. Decent selection of local craft beers. More on the menu than just pork (beef, seafood, sides), but this was our first time so we tried the pork trio dinner (Cheeks, belly & loin) and the pork shank Could not have been happier with our choices! Waitress was pleasant helpful and attentive, as well as other servers who refilled our water and checked on us appropriately. Stayed for dessert: Cheese & berries for my wife, and lemon frozen mousse from me - both were excellent. Also asked the chef to pair with his choice of port for my wife and bourbon or whiskey for me. My wife's port was good, but the bourbon whisky I had was wonderful: come to find out that this was a Hudson Distillery (New York) Four Grain bourbon whiskey picked personally by Towne Plaza with their own label - a single barrel bottled exclusively for Towne Plaza. It was excellent and I recommend anyone who enjoys whiskey to try this: they also use it in their signature cocktails. The owner was also very helpful and informative when I asked to see the bottle to read more about it. THANKS for all you did for me!! We will be back to try some of your non-pork options!

Full disclosure: I am a fellow restaurant owner in town. One that doesn’t compete nor have vested interest in The Towne Plaza. With that said I want my opinion heard. I have dined many times here and always leave happy, full and wowed by the experience. Usually I attend for breakfast and I honestly think this is the best place in town for that meal, hands down. Tonight my wife and I stopped in for dinner. We ordered smoked tomato soup, Brussels sprouts and a cheese tray for apps. Spot on, delicious and very large portions. For entree she ordered Sea Scallops and loved them and I had the cut of the day which was a NYS with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Tonight’s experience makes me believe this is one of the top 3 places for dinner in town. Staff is knowledgeable, helpful, attentive and kind. Very well run and managed restaurant, there’s reasons it’s so highly rated. Go and see for yourself.

My favorite spot for breakfast in town, (dinner is excellent also!). I have tried many items on the menu, but always go back to my favorite blueberry pancakes. Friendly and professional staff. Summer dining outside is wonderful. Try it, you will love this place.

Delicious food, top notch service, and a great atmosphere! My fiancé and I tried it for the first time for restaurant week, and were blown away by the flavor profiles and the portions! Gives a whole new meaning to "meat and potatoes!" Would recommend to anyone! Five stars!

Fantastic! 2 of us had the pork belly - I would highly recommend it! We also had beef short ribs & lobster crab cakes BUT the brussel sprout fingerling potato salad is to die for

We had a wonderful lunch. I started out with an appetizer of the pork belly and shared it with my wife and mother-in-law. The pork belly reminded me of soft butter. Great crust on the belly and it was served on a bed of arugula with a little bit of Spicy sauce wonderful. I wife had the wild mushroom soup. She loved it. It had a great depth of flavor. My mother-in-law had the shoulder in puff. It was good. For my entrée I had the burger. Angus meet me in rare with a half slice of pulled pork. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The pork belly was like butter. No condiments were needed whatsoever perfect! Service was excellent and attentive. No complaints whatsoever.

The food, service, and atmosphere and prices were great today. We all 4 loved our meals. You have to try the Cranberry Raisin bread French toast, it doesn't even need syrup. Surf and Turf- Fried oyster, pork belly, red hot vinaigrette, poached egg, cornbread to die for! The only thing I could complain about was being seated in the small corner spot in the bar area.

"We had a fantastic dining experience with excellent food, a welcoming ambiance, and attentive service. The restaurant's spacious patio outside added to the charm. We enjoyed both the surf and turf and the chicken Benedict dishes."

The Towne Plaza Restaurant in Traverse City is a great brunch spot! We were attracted by the reviews, so he gave it a try. We waited 40 mins but it was worth it. While the omelettes were okay, the French toast stole the show, it’s amazing (I would spare the raisins though). The cozy atmosphere and friendly service create a welcoming experience. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Top notch! By far the best breakfast in town. Every dish was amazing. Benedict was the best I've ever had, and the fruit salad exceeded my expectations on what a fruit salad could be. Perfect service, seated fast, server on point, food arrived quickly and won best in show. Beautiful plateing and wonderful atmosphere. A must go for any breakfast enthusiast. 😁😁😁

A great brunch spot in downtown Traverse City! Expect a bit of a wait, but well worth it. Started with a great Bloody Mary - house made mix and chipotle infused vodka. The fries were excellent, and the five onion soup was simple, but super flavorful. Main course was the short rib Benedict, with super tender meat and great poached eggs. Also, the lettuce that comes on the side is amazing - super crisp and refreshing. All in all an excellent experience, would love to come back and try some more dishes.

All I can say is wow! I knew this place was worth the wait as soon as I walked in. The atmosphere is super cute and the food looked unique. Well I was right. This was one of my favorite dining experiences ever! No joke. The eggs Benedict was so great and the pancakes were the best pancakes I've ever had. It comes with lettuce on the side which I at first thought was weird but it's sooo good with the drizzle of dressing they add to it made me feel really healthy and cleansed the palette. I ate my husband's too. The server we had was so knowledgeable and you could tell, very passionate about the restaurant they run. Not a single complaint here. I'll be here every time I visit traverse city now. Thank you!!

If you are looking for a great food this is your place! We have eaten here several times, and the food never disappoints. My son had the BLT with one egg over hard. I had the French toast with maple syrup. The most impressive aspect of dining here is that your food comes out very fast! There is usually a wait for a table, but it’s not very long. You could also sit at the bar like we did. We also loved their friendly service.

We absolutely love this place. Food is amazing and we have had a great service. This time around our servers name was Will and he was stellar. Hands down great service. The one thing that I think could be improved is the waitlist situation. We waited outside and sat a little outside the door not more than 15 feet away from the door. Somehow we missed our name and when we checked the hostess made us feel bad for not responding. Just put us off a bit but to her credit she sat us immediately and I know it’s been a long season.

If you're looking for a cozy and delicious brunch spot in Traverse City, The Towne Plaza is an absolute must-visit! I make it a point to eat breakfast or brunch here each time I visit TC. I think I am on dining experience number 11 here! I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming restaurant again and I have nothing but positive things to say. My husband and I were celebrating our first wedding anniversary. First and foremost, the food is outstanding. I ordered the Chicken Benedict, which is my usual go-to. It’s an uncommon rendition of Eggs Benedict, but it’s worth stepping outside the box. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection, the smoked fontina cheese sauce was rich and creamy, and the chicken was juicy and flavorful. The breading on the chicken was crumbly and toasted but wasn’t too heavy. I like the unique accompaniment of the Bibb lettuce because it is an unlikely pairing. I appreciate the generous portion size - I left feeling full and satisfied. But it's not just the food that sets The Towne Plaza apart. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a rustic yet modern decor that makes you feel right at home. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ensuring that their guests are well taken care of. I also love the location - right in the heart of downtown Traverse City and a block away from Espresso Bay. After our meal, we were able to stroll around the charming streets and take in the local sights with a Peppermint Crunch Cold Brew Coffee. Overall, I highly recommend The Towne Plaza for anyone looking for a delicious and memorable brunch experience in Traverse City. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this restaurant is not to be missed!

We had a lovely Labor day breakfast and everything was amazing! My husband and I split the fruit salad which was so sweet and fresh. I had the surf and turf Benedict which was very well balanced with the deliciously fatty pork belly along side the greens and the red hot vinaigrette which really brought everything together. On top of the delicious food, our server, Courtney, was so sweet and attentive. So glad we stopped in and we hope to come back soon!

Had an amazing lunch on the patio. Despite the busy 4th of July holiday the staff was friendly and fast. Our server brought our puppy a water dish and our drinks quickly. The afternoon cocktails were great and the food was amazing! I recommend the Negroni and the burger (comes with pork belly and better than bacon!) with seasoned fries and aioli! My wife had a vegetarian dish called “Root Vegetable Gratin” that was delicious as well.

Towne Plaza is surely one of the best brunch spots in TC. We always get consistently good service and everything I’ve ordered I would definitely get again. Right down to the house yogurt and fresh squeezed orange juice, they really don’t miss a beat on the quality of their food. The fruit salad is very unique and always hits the spot when I’m craving fresh fruit!

We were impressed with everything😍 We had a little vacation in Traverse City and looking for a good breakfast place to eat. This restaurant came up in Google search and all the pictures looked wonderful. We decided to give it a try. We arrived there shortly after they open and was already pretty busy. Only couple seats at the bar was open. As soon as we sat at the bar, a lovely bartender Vanessa greeted us with a pleasant smile☺ I ordered Bloody Maria and it was so quick that I didn't even had a chance to look at the food menu😁 Their house Bloody Mary mix is so addictive with great garnish😍 Tasted so smooth and lots of umami. We loved everything about their menu item, we ordered so much food! Pork Belly, Surf n Turf Eggs Benedict, Porchetta, Shrimp in Saffron Broth, Grilled Cheese with Balsamic Glaze paired with Smokey Tomaro bisque, and 5 onion soup. Everything was cooked to perfection. My most favorite one was their pork belly. It was so tender that you can just cut it with fork. Full of rich flavor and every bite had an explosion of umami. It was so ridiculously good that it actually made me laugh🤩 Porchetta was wonderful too🥰 Topped with Chimichurri and it matched perfectly. The french fries added a good accent to the dish too. Shrimp in Broth had so much flavor accentuated by saffron and shellfish stock. It tasted like a real good lobster bisque sans cream. Their Grilled cheese was so super fancy😍 It was so different than we imagined. Everything on the plate was beautiful and well calculated to create perfect harmony. Loved the Balsamic Glaze. We ordered so much food, we had so much leftover to take home. We asked for couple boxes. Our bartender Vanessa put a sheet of foil on each of our boxes so the box(made in paper)doesn't soak the juice from the food. Such a great attention to detail. A gentleman(Possibly the chef/owner) gave us a nice Thermos to take home😊 This was our very first time trying this restaurant and we are in love with everything they offered. Thank you so much for the incredible unforgettable dining experience💖 We will be back in September😘

5 ⭐️’s, easy. I ordered Benedict vegetarian style (sub meat for tomato and spinach) and my husband had chicken. Both absolutely incredible. The smoked hollandaise still has my mouth watering and the dressing on the lettuce was so good. Not to mention, those potato’s 😍 We loved the setting here - quaint and quiet and perfect for a lazy morning brunch. Staff super friendly as well! All around great experience.

Great breakfast/lunch option in downtown Traverse city with inside and outside seating. My wife is a picky eater who rarley eats meat so the Grilled Cheese with a side of slaw was right up her alley and she very much enjoyed it. I had the Stuffed Tomato Benedict which I enjoyed also. Service was top notch and atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. I would eat here again and highly recommend it.
