Good pizza and super fast delivery. Usually our go to pizza while on vacation here. The crust is nice and toasty out of the oven. The medium is pretty small so get a large if your trying to feed more than 1.5 to 2 people :)
Good pizza with fresh ingredients. Intimate atmosphere with seating indoors or out. Dough was airy, comes out of the oven not firm. Let the pizza rest on the table and you should be good to go. Would return of another slice of Za.
We are here visiting for our 1st time at Treasure Island and wanted to be able to unpack everything and go grocery shopping but left us little to no time to get ready for dinner so we needed something cheap quick and extremely casual for we were all in lounge gear. We figured we would try out some local pizza and to our surprise it was actually better than back home. The brick pizza we had was so tasteful and our salads were loaded full of toppings. The kids also got the kids pasta and it was actually better than any Italian place we have been to. I highly recommend the place expecially for quick service! We definitely will be back. It also has outdoor seating which is a plus!
Good pizza. Had a Groupon for this place, and took a nice drive to get there. I thought the pizza was worth the time and effort to get there.Toppings were excellent,the green peppers were still crunchy as well as the red onion.Well worth the trip!

Britt's Pizza in Treasure Island has the Best Pepperoni Pizza I've ever eaten. I found out why after speaking to one of their employees. Britts makes Fresh Mozzarella Cheese in house and they make their own sauce form San Marzano Tomatoes imported from Italy. The real secret I think is the Coal Fired Oven, it adds a hint of char-coal flavor to the pizza. Its as good if not better than the pizza in New York. I would highly recommend Britts pizza to anyone from the east coast.
If you like thin crust, you'll love Britt's. But double check your order, because sometimes they make mistakes. I wish they would deliver a little further away.
It's all about the crust. I prefer the traditional NYC style pizza and this one fits the description when you're in Treasure Island. Very good crust.
Our first visit was tonight. Wanted to give this place a try. For me the pizza was alright. But, the place had the feel of just come in pick it up and leave. No special dining experience.
It tastes good but.... We ordered a large bacon pizza to be delivered. The delivery was on time, but when we opened the box the pizza wasn't cut and the cheese had slid on a couple of pieces during delivery. We had to cut the pizza our selves. I don't know if this is how they normally do it, but I was too hungry to call and ask. The pizza was delicious though. I love the charcoal taste. I will probably order this again, but I will pick it up next time.
Overall this is a good light, fresh flavored pizza. I liked the fresh basil peices and the fresh tadting sauce. They skimped a little on the cheese, and yeah the crust is a bit generic wonderbread, but i didnt try the multigrain. i am not sure what "coal fired" really means, but it looked like their oven uses gas to heat lava rocks, as i didnt see or taste wood burning. The result is the right heat but not optimal flavor, like a burger on a gas grill. Its better than indoors, but not as good as burning brickets. So, they really should use better dough, but you dont need to outrun the cheetah when you can beat the competition.
The best Pizza in Florida!. What a great place , with the coal fire everything comes to your table cooked to perfection! the service is friendly and warm, and the price is very affordable, for a large pizza (i highly recomend the famous margarita!) 3 drinks and 3 ice creams at about $ 30.oo , you cant ask for a greater tasting pizza, from the hand tossed crust to the quality toppings, and topped off with the warm crisp taste of the oven , and you get to watch your pizza being made ! Highly recomend its our new favorite place in St pete!
Amazing Food and People. My husband and I went to Treasure Island for our Honeymoon/Vacation with my in-laws, Britt's was the best find of the week (minus our sea shells of course).
We enjoyed the lunch specials everyday, and a relaxing evening just ordering pizza in a couple nights that we just wanted to stay in. We ALL found that everything we tried we LOVED... they have everyhting from salads, to subs, to pizza, to smoothies & ice-cream...
The staff and the chef- John were so friendly, and by the time our week was up, we felt like we were leaving friends... everyone should try this place! i would reccommend it to ANYONE and EVERYONE!

Best Pizza Ever. Britt's pizza was the best pizza we ever had. The coal oven taste is just delicious. Sandwiches and shakes are good too. My kids loved the pizza and ate them almost everyday of our stay in Treasure Island. The people are very friendly. The owner mentioned that he gets sauce from Italy and maintains high standards.

Britts is AWESOME!!!!!!!!. Let me first say that I am a full blooded Italian male and i have been cooking and tasting Italian food for all of my life. Furthermore my grandmother is right off the boat from Italy, and I have grown up eating her recipes from the homeland. When I first came to Britt's Pizzeria I wasn't expecting much ......... but WOW!!!!!!!! They use the finest-spare-no-expense ingredients that I have ever experienced in a restaurant and the food is just AMAZING! I was honestly blown away. The chef there was very friendly, and apparently he makes everything from scratch from the pasta to the pizza dough to the meatballs and lasagne which are all absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!!!! Britt's has made a believer out of me and I will NEVER go anywhere else for my Italian food unless I'm cooking it myself of course. Britt's my hat is off ,you guys RULE!!!!

Great food. They have the best Pizza ever. It is cooked in a coal fired brick oven that gives it an unbelievable taste and perfect crust. By far the best Pizza in this area. Friendly staff and great location. We will be back often.
Best pizza on the beach. Coal fired pizza equals YUM! My husband and I tried it because we used to love the pizza at the Clearwater location... this is different (used to be wood oven up there) but still awesome.
We've had it a few times now, dine-in and delivery, and it was amazing every time. They use hand-tossed crust so it's not a three inch deep crust or a paper-thin soggy one. It's a solidly good pizza. The sauce is good, not too sweet (like Original) and they don't drown the pie.
The service is quick and polite, but there isn't table service.

Wow, never expected such an AMAZING meal at a small place on the beach...Chicken Cesar Salad was to die for!!! Pizza is truly superb, the people were even really great. I will be back often, I think I'm in love. AAA+

That is until I ate pizza at Britt's. Their pizza is coal fired, so it cooks very quickly. The thin crust on the bottom is crisp, and the pizza toppings remain flavorful and vibrant. It is nothing like most of the grease laden pizzas we find in typical places. I feel like I've eaten a healthy, filling meal when I leave.
They always use the freshest tasting ingredients. Tomato on top of ricotta, is my absolute favorite (and I am not even a fan of tomatoes!) My 4 year old never wants to eat anything green, but will eat cheese pizza with fresh basil every time.
I never tire of eating this pizza. It is the best pizza I have ever tasted. If you have never eaten a pizza cooked by coal fire, you must give it a try!

Sad but true. Ill start by saying i know pizza. 50 years of eating it in BUFFALO NY! i cant say ive had less than 50 different kinds of pizza, with every kind of topping, every kind of sauce, every kind of meat, hot, cold, three days old, and up til now, my favorite- pizza cooked on an iron pan that still had a glaze of high quality roast beef juice on it which infused itself into the dough and gave it a perfect crispness.
so the reason im writing this is that in the spring of 2011 I went to st pete beach and got hungry. not wanting pizza again, i was nevertheless out voted my the family and said, allright at least that sign that says "coal Fired pizza" sounds different. so we got a large and ate it. after getting back into my normal state of mind, I was compelled to walk up to the guy who i believe is the owner and told him, "in the 50 years ive eaten pizza in buffalo, I can NOT remember enjoying the flavor and oven baked goodness of one as I did this one". So the pizza was perfect, and the coal fire put it over the top. NUFF SAID.
Coal Fired Pizza. Stayed at Treasure Island Beach this past weekend. Went over to Britts Pizza twice. The first time we ordered pizza.....was absolutley the best pizza I have had around here. The second time I got a sub and my wife got a Greek Salad...she raved about the Greek salad and my sub was great also....great place for pizza.
THE BEST PIZZA ON THE PLANET!. We live in Brevard County and when in Treasure Island it is the only place for Pizza! The crust gets that char from the 900 degree oven but is still chewy and simply amazing! They do not skimp on the toppings and you can tell, it is homemade. The white pizza is to die for. We always order one for the ride back home, The best i have ever had. Get one and you will see, The White Pizza is Heaven and the Meat, Just Delicious!!! You will not be disappointed! Im craving one now!!!
Great pizza. Cafeteria type ambiance. Dont expect a great dining experience but is really good for beer munchies or late snack.
I had a great experience with Britt's Coal Fire Pizza. I ordered over the phone and thought the price was very inexpensive- 3 8" plain cheese pizzas for less than $10- Cheap, and it was delicious. I will order again it was quick and easy.
Like it. Suprised to see the other review but i do know my pphone order did take a while. My order was a little messed up but it was corrected. I ended up loving the pizza
