The very best Thai style cuisine I’ve had in years. Fresh ingredients contribute to a light and delicious flavor. The portions are large and the appetizers in particular are a great value. Chef and owner “Dee” came out to ask how we enjoyed our meal. Wait service was friendly and helpful. Pricing is very reasonable for a quality meal and drinks. Very satisfied with this bistro.

This place is top notch! It was our 4th wedding anniversary. I spoke to the owner while making our dinner reservation and she had a carved out pineapple filled with fruit and orchid flowers on our table (traditional gifts for that anniversary) when we arrived. It made The night magical. The food was perfectly cooked with the right amount of spice as well. I cannot say enough about how great this place is!

This is a fresh new addition to Tucson's bustling downtown scene. We had succent appetizers, the Thom ka soup was amazing, the pad Thai with beef was on point, the desserts were subtle and pleasant. The service we received from Nick was attentive and his recommendations we genuine (because he was honest About portion sizes and heat (spiciness). Lovely evening and I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Loved making the reservations online. The Bistro was a great choice in dining before a Fox Theatre Show. Our server, I believe her name was Candy, was knowledgeable, very polite and prompt. The food was prepared and presented in a way to make ones mouth water at the sight. Delicious Thai food.

Arbitrary decision to break from our usual selection of burger joints, we googled 'nearby Thai food restaurants' and were directed to Sanae Thai Bistro. WOW! A charming atmosphere, exceptional service with beautifully prepared dishes that absolutely melted in our mouths! Our server, Eric was perfectly attentive and the lovely owner/chef, Dee walked around the bistro greeting customers. Can't remember the last time I was so impressed with a local Tucson restaurant. Khob khun kha - we will be back!

Went today at lunch and found the food extremely flavorful and fresh! A bit pricey, but it's worth it for the quality. Make sure to get there early because the tiny space fills up quickly during rush times!

I ordered my Pad Thai at a spice level of 5 and it did not disappoint. However, it was still very tasty. The service was excellent and friendly. My only problem with Senae is their odd hours. They close at 2:00 and re-open at 4:00. For sure check theirs hours before heading over.

We enjoyed a delightful and very delicious lunch, this was our first visit also .• The service was excellent, Erik our server very knowledgeable and attentive. Dee, the owner came over to be sure we were pleased with our appetizers and drinks. Very relax atmosphere and upscale decor, but the Food was the main focus. Fresh and portions were so large, couldn't eat anymore. But we wanted more... SO we ended Up ordering our entrees to carry out .lol We have been to Thailand and many Thai restaurants over the years . Now we finally have a Upscale and amazing Thai food in Tucson. We will definitely be back, and often.

Best Thai food we’ve eaten in some time. Beautiful presentation, friendly and professional service, and pretty & airy decor. You can feel the attention to detail and taste the commitment to quality. Such a great find! The Kao Op Sapparos (fried rice in a hollowed-out pineapple) was the best fried rice I’ve ever eaten and so creatively presented.

It’s not often we frequent downtown Tucson, but we were excited to try Senae Thai. Parking was $6 flat rate at the nearest lot. Based on other reviews, it sounds like this is supposed to be THE authentic Thai cuisine. Maybe I’m embarrassed to say that my taste buds are accustomed to American-Thai style food? Alas, we shared the taro fries. These were good. Simple appetizer. I had the yellow curry which automatically comes as chicken. Normally, I’m asked what spice level at other restaurants (eg “do you want spicy or THAI spicy?”), however I wasn’t during this encounter. The chicken thigh/leg was cooked very well - loved it. The curry sauce left a little to be desired especially without any spiciness. Flavor was slightly bland. We also had the beef pad Thai. And correct me if I’m wrong, but was not expecting the overpowering fish sauce flavor. Again, accustomed to a much different pad Thai flavor. Wouldn’t recommend unless you like fish sauce. Pricing was a bit steep and so overall, probably won’t be returning anytime soon. 4/5 stars. Thank you.

I’ve never had Thai food before, and this place made me never want to eat Thai food anywhere else but here. I suggest the veggie rolls and chili vinaigrette, they were a great appetizer. I ordered the Pad Kemow and added chicken. It was a double first, because I also haven’t had tofu. The tofu was perfect. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I opted for spice level 3 and I was not disappointed. If you aren’t a spice fan, I would stick to the lower numbers. The food was amazing, and the servers were personable, friendly and on the ball. Overall this place was amazing.

Best Thai food in Tucson and it isn't close. This is legitimately authentic. It's also the best curry period I've had in Tucson and I generally prefer Indian curry. The duck breast was perfectly cooked as well. The lemongrass wings are also a highlight, a great low pressure introduction to Thai flavors for those unaccustomed to this deliciousness. Go here now!

Have been to this amazing restaurant twice and still planning to go back. The Taro fries is so good! Strongly recommend! Yellow curry is the dish I always order every time I go! The other dishes are all amazing, no bad food!

Senae is a great addition to he downtown culinary scene! The BBQ chicken dish and veg roll I had were both delicious and well prepared. The atmosphere was mellow and perfect for a Saturday dinner. My cocktails were also well made. I had wanted to go to MiAn's, but it was rather loud and college-y. Senae was a much better choice!

Mixed feelings about this place. Dine-in has been great, if not excellent, when we have gone however take-out was abysmal. Take-out portions were small and a sloppy mess. As a caution for when you are going, make reservations as each time it has been packed. Overall I do like the spot but it is on the more expensive side for Thai but does have a chic, modern atmosphere.

Authentic Thai food served in modern way. Very nice atmosphere, ambiance, menu selection and good service. Grilled Salmon with coconut curry is my favourite. It is full of flavours and taste. Highly recommended.
