Love this place. Great food. Some of the best quality in town. You will be surprised by this gem. ;)
Mexican potato soup was excellent. Calamari was excellent as well with salad and pickled peppers on top, nice addition for sure. Normally, hotel restaurants are kind of bar type food, or reheated packaged dinners. This was very good indeed. I highly recommend the items I selected
Total hotel restaurant. Stuck to soup and salad. Pretty good. Breakfast buffet not bad.
I was really surprised at how good the food was here, I had the risotto my friend had a hamburger. The food was great as was the presentation and the service. If I would change anything it would be the TV,S but that's because I have a pet peeve about TV's in restaurants. If you are staying here or in the area try this place. Food was really yummy and presented well. The wine list was good and reasonable priced. I will be back.
Birthday Lunch. I had my birthday lunch with friends, one of whom flies for the airlines (that's why we chose this Tucson airport location.) The rueben sandwich and onion rings I had were very good. The place was not real busy and the staff were quick and responsive. See my photo.
Nice, but Pricey. I don't know why I always end up getting the waiter/waitress who's also working the bar, or I'm the only one in the section with a different waitperson than everyone else. My waiter was extremely nice, and as attentive as he could be, but he seemed to be in charge of another area in the restaurant, so I had to wait a few times for refills, etc. That aside, my experience was good. The menu is small. There are numerous appetizers, a few specialty salads, a couple of steaks, a couple of pasta dishes, a couple of burgers and a few odds and ends. The burgers will cost you $12, which is a little higher than most hotel restaurants. I ordered the fajitas. They were probably the most expensive fajitas I've ever eaten ($20), but also possibly the highest quality I've ever had. They came with 4 nicely toasted flour tortillas, steak strips, grilled onions and peppers, refried beans, a small amount of pico and guacamole, plus a roasted corn, grilled zuccini and white cheese mixture. The taste was fabulous. Unfortunately it left me wanting more! Portions were not huge, like most working class Americans are used to. I'm not sure how often I will come here considering the price and limited menu, but I certainly enjoyed my time there yesterday.
I was wrong.... I wrote a review about this place based on the good management there. Now that he and some of the employees are gone, I take back what I said. The owners of this company cannot be pleased and in a result the food, atmosphere and great people are now gone. Hurting for business now? I hope they know why.
If you are looking for an all in one restaurant with great food, look no further! If Happy hour is what you are looking for you can sit at the bar, have a delicious cocktail, watch the game and chat with the friendly bartender. If sitting down to a nice meal is what you are after the atmosphere is pleasing with a nice view of the pool. The menu changes and is always delicious. Nate, the Manager is very accommodating and friendly. He makes you feel right at home and can recommend the perfect bottle of wine to go with your meal. Don't let this place pass you by! You wont be disappointed.
