In addition to their indoor and patio dining, Risky's has a nice, spacious circular bar with TVs switched to whichever spectator sports the clientele wants to watch. There's usually a classic rock soundtrack, never too loud. The lighting, decor and staff professionalism promote a mellow ambiance where you definitely won't encounter loud, obnoxious, drunken customers. All in all, a nice place to meet with friends or colleagues, or for a glass of wine and dinner.
Everything I've ordered has been good… the blackened chicken sandwich, the fish tacos, the fried calamari, the chicken piccata. They've recently (Fall 2023) added a few new items to the menu.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this place. The food was TOP NOTCH, and the taste was FRESH AND TASTY. We had calamari, crab cakes, sushi and salad, and it was delicious.
The service was phenomenal. The servers were very friendly and helpful.
This place was recommended by a local resident we met on a hiking trail. He definitely was on-point. There was a nice crowd inside, and we didn't have to wait for service.
I wouldn't hesitate coming back again the next time I come to this area... MANAGEMENT DESERVES THE HIGHEST COMPLIMENTS. GREAT JOB!!!!
Came in from out of town and wanted something easy and to watch the game. Sat down right in front of the big screen and it was great. Not a big selection of beers on tap but enough to try out the locals as well as a few regular beers. Food was amazing. Fried calamari had a nice batter and extra crispy and crunchy. I wonder how the angry calamari would've been better. Coconut shrimp was great too - lots of coconut but not overpowering or chewy, crispy, and the shrimp had a good flavor and texture also. Margherita pizza was amazing. Love the garlic and tomato on the thin crust. Servers were slightly slow and got some of the beer orders wrong (twice), but nothing major that we couldn't flag them down to remind them.
Not my kind of place -it is a sports bar, after all- but for what it was , i was fairly impressed. It takes some work to impress and in this case, it was the exact amount of work required to put up a LimeyDoor™ on the bathroom stall. Thats right; a good old-fashioned 'No stealzes my baggises' and No peekin', Me Creepers' modern laminate wooden door running fully down to the floor, where all doors should fully run.
This -I am told- is indeed of British influence. This explains the IWC, of which I was made shockingly aware in Kerala. The full length door -there- was concealing the Hole and the Spigot(ironically, the name of several pubs in the UK). But in Risky Business(the name of a bar in Perth, which was bedecked in pink and teal with what passed as the Pop Art in Triangles phase of Cold War Rock. At least in 1992.) there was a perfectly working flush toilet and the associated paper.
I was in Tucson(a horridly mispronounced city. I swear; ask any local. They'll get it wrong, 10/10) at the behest of Kitten who was intent on introducing me to:
- the Tucson of her collegiate youth.
and
- an old friend.
We essentially collapsed upon the latter's life for 44 or so hours, slept on the various floors of his entire apartment, fed him the best in Stateside garbage and abused his hot-glue gun(remember; Kitten does not know how they work. Also remember; no one has ever invited a cat to a scrapbooking session).
Keeping in line with UK Toilet (you guessed it; the actual name of a hip, new breakfastry in Southwestern Phoenix)theme, our host is presently assembled in the US using entirely UK materials.
But I digress; RB was just fine (even without proper stall doors but they HAVE them) and I was surprised that they have interpreted Shamrock Foods nicely in their menu. The food is pretty good and the floors are 100% mung-free.
Tl;dr? We had a great small visit and the friend was too kind! I only hope I helped his life in some small way that didn't involve the glue gun.
Really great menu with excellent execution! Outstanding service. Just had lunch, but it was delicious and I know we will find ourselves back there for game watching because it's setup great for that! Nice work folks!
I was there today and I really liked it. Everything was amazing. Our server was very caring. I had the pasta with chicken, broccoli and tomatoes. I also had a mojito. In my opinion I had the best mojito ever. I also had a lava cake. It also taste very good. When I am back in Tucson I will come definetley back.
I love this place!! Always amazing food and wonderful service. Tonight was no exception, thank you Kyle for wonderful service! I’ve been working in customer service for about 10 years and can safely say you are phenomenal! Will, of course, be back soon.
Very good all around restaurant near Sabino Canyon on the east side of Tucson. We love the salads which are large, good and a great value. Friendly staff.
Great wait staff, good food and pleasant atmosphere.
Wait service was attentive, lively and welcoming to our large table. We ordered so many dishes and the food was very good. We had nachos, burgers, fish n chips, cobb salad, and quesadillas.
Went here for lunch on a Wednesday and it was a great experience! My wife and I have three young kids and we met my cousin and her two young kids, and the restaurant was very accommodating. Our waitress was phenomenal! I had the Korean tacos… order them!! I almost couldn’t believe how good they were! The waitress’s face lit up when I ordered them, so I have a feeling I’m not the only one that likes them. Burgers and salads are huge, and they have a great kids’ menu that satisfied them. Margaritas were fantastic! The chocolate lava cake is the biggest I’ve ever seen! Great place to eat and hangout!
Good food, however the patty melts bread isn't the greatest. Clean. Has option for indoor or outdoor seating. Sports screens at the bar.
This has been one of our favorite places for many years in Tucson. Fantastic surf-and-turf style pub bar and restaurant. Featuing an upscale atmosphere and a very generous portions of food. The menu has some amazing treats and absolutely delicious mixed drinks and special cocktails. Located on the north side of Tucson near Ventana canyon along with a beautiful shopping district in the same parking lot. Cost is pretty much average running about 10 to 20 a meal on up.
Been coming to risky business for years the one on craycroft was the best location personally, miss when they had locations all over so I didn't have to drive across town for whisky wings but heck are they worth it. They do need to update the info on the website tho dude to them being wrong. Also bring back the teriyaki burger with the pineapple on it. No one makes it like y'all did!!!
Great price, atmosphere, and food. Best wings in Tucson imho. A lot of places claim that, I have eaten good wings all around Tucson and these are my favorite. Great price at happy hour on wings. My wife loves the Taco Salad, her favorite in town. Service is excellent. We finished our hike at Sabino, went in and were served immediately, were out and satisfied with a beer, wings, and salad very quickly. Our favorite place
We were a party of 4, and all ordered different dishes. Everyone raved about the food, and we would certainly eat there again.
Really great place for having lunch for two or a bigger group. The food is fab and the menu choices are no short of amazing.
Our burgers were cooked just right and the fries are to die for.
I'll be back!
