This was a great place to have breakfast. Everything is freshly made. They even give your free muffins to take home. Staff was very friendly and customer service was amazing. It was nice clean enivorment. The food was very good. Overall experience was great. Would recommend coming here for breakfast.
Always a great experience. We had a slight wait since they were under staffed, our server brought us free muffins, even though it wasn't her fault. They make you feel right at home and the crepes are to die for!
We came here for dinner for two on a Sunday for the first time. Our waitress Laura was the bomb and just a lovely person. The chicken and artichoke as well as the French dip were both great. And you can buy items from the bakery to go!
We had a large party and everything was amazing. I made a reservation and the table was ready before we got there. Great food. Exceptional service!

I love this place. I personally go for the steak/herb butter, however, my mother is more eclectic and, as such I have tasted a wonderful array of huge bountiful salads and french onion soup that is quite perfect. They serve alcohol, and the ambiance is casual I have seen every age group represented in their clientele. But, by far the service is impeccable, warm and inviting even if you were just blown in from a hurricane. We love the architecture, bayou, and the warmth.
Phenomenal is the only way to describe the service we received here. My husband and I went here for the first time, and we were greeted by a wonderful and accommodating hostess. When our waiter Steven came to the table, it was all smiles and he was so friendly. He helped us through the menu and his smile never faltered when it came to his service. The food was jaw-dropping it was so great. Everything was brought to us hot and fresh and it came out quicker than we could eat it. At the end of our dinner the general manager Christie came out to greet us and find out how our dinner was. We were astonished. Steven even threw in some complimentary muffins for us to take home. We left full and happy and we will be thrilled to return.
The food tastes great, service is great, very reasonably priced and clean facilities.
This is on of my favorite places to have a breakfast at. I have been here a couple of times, and each time the experience was satisfying. In regard to the food, the Eggs Benedict is amazing, and the new Buttermilk Berry Griddlecakes is great as well. I also like a good cup of coffee in the morning, and this place meets my expectations for that. Our waitress was nice and cooperative. I would definitely come back to this restaurant in the future.
Nice and cozy. Food was very good. Wait staff was excellent. Their is great comfort food and great homie classics. My better half had the turkey dinner. She said it was very good and would not share with me. She also had the corn chowder prior, she gave me a lil' taste, very tasty. I had the french dip sandwich with fries. Awesome! I just love their baguette bread, can't get enough. You can also have some cocktails or a nice variety of beers and soft drinks. I highly recommend Mimi's Cafe.
Food was real good and the servers were very nice. Went there for New Year's bf and I had an omelet with bacon and avocado. It was tasty and the prices are comparable to Denny's. Will go again and next time, I'll order one of their delicious mimosas 😊.
The staff here did an incredible job accommodating our family. The food was good, and we'd go here again. Great family restaurant. The portions were large--my wife and I split the croque madame and it was plenty for both of us. The bread was very yummy here.
The service and food was great. I did order waffles and chicken but they didn't have the fryer turned on yet. Bummer. Switched to an egg, bacon cressant which was great. Potatoes were very nice and tasty. Jody our server was attentive and nice.

My spouse and I were in for brunch last week and, it being the holidays, it was packed out the door. Since there were just two of us we didn't mind waiting. Not long after we got our food (which: yum!) and I had downed several espressos, an elderly couple came in and sat down at an empty table which was being prepped for a reservation party. The staff was kind to them, but the couple didn't seem to understand that they would have to wait for a table, so we asked to be moved to a table that was just clearing so the staff could use our table for the reservation party. No big deal, they moved us to a booth and continued to serve us as wonderfully as always.
When we asked for our check we were told that because we had given up our table and moved, the location manager had given us our $45 brunch on the house. We were stunned, as the level of food and service was so good we would never have asked for that kind of treatment. We did manage to make sure our server was well tipped, as she was awesome, but Mimi's just got a very loyal customer in me. We'll be back. Thank you!
Glad to find Mimi's in Tucson. Loved the one in Albuquerque. Our early afternoon meals were fantastic. Salads were very fresh and the entire meal preparation spot on. Husband loved his well prepared steak and my chicken was terrific. Time from food order to table was quite good. Servers were great. Never had to ask for more water or coffee due to their observant walk arounds. We go mid week when it is less crowded but don't mind a wait for the weekend either.
Very clean inside and out. Handicapped parking spaces and wheelchair friendly. Restrooms were very clean.
