I have been a sporadic customer here for years and food is always been excellent. Love to swing by for supply of tortillas fresh made.

Absolutely love the tortillas here! (So does my dog who is lucky to be alive after eating a whole package.) The tamales are good, though personally not my favorite. There are 3 different varieties of corn tortillas and the best so far is Mi Cobachito. Softest corn tortillas ever! The flour tortillas are so good they're worth eating all on their own.

Flavor of the red chili burrito was great and the tortilla was great. But just meat in a burrito and the burrito was a little price. Also canned stewed tomatoes with maybe a few slices of jalapeno. Doesn't count as salsa. I didn't need the salsa because the flavor was great in the burrito. I also didn't even open the salsa because it didn't look appetizing. I think Adding some cheese or rice to the burrito to make it fuller would make this burrito complete.

My go to for fresh tortillas. 2 recent visits: one for the large burrito size; the other four the street taco size. Love making burritos and crisps with their large torts.

The tortillas are still warm at the front counter. You can watch them cook everything right from the front of the store/cafe. It's like when you watched your Nana cook tortillas and they taste like them too.

I see mixed reviews for La Mesa…I enjoyed the fresh tortillas and also had a chorizo burrito which wasn’t greasy or soggy. Very delicious…the cup of salsa could be a little more generous since it’s chunky but all was a pleasant experience for me and my son. The lady was very nice and carried a conversation with myself and everyone else that was lined up for her fresh tortillas.

Only reason why I'm giving a 4 star to the broadway and pantano location is because the front tall white lady with glasses seems like she hates her job and is like whatever with customers. I asked if they had small tortillas and just nodded her head no. Like I'm supposed to guess what they have in stock.. She didn't even ask me if I needed or wanted something else. Seems like I was a bother to her... I can tell she loves her job. I dnt see that being professional. But after all, a great place for good quality tortillas and they taste great!

When I started buying their flour tortillas long ago, my sons started refusing to eat anything else! Now that I'm in New Orleans, I am so happy to see that they ship tortillas! Ordered and quickly received. I might sell them on the street here for big bucks! (JK... or, am I?)

I almost don’t want to tell everyone how delicious their mini tortillas are because I hate when I show up after work and they’re sold out for the day. But everyone deserves to know how good this place is, the red shredded beef is fire too. This place will do something to you and change you for sure. You also know a place is fire when the old ladies line up outside to get food.
