The food here is absolutely fantastic. Everything I’ve had has been incredibly delicious. The shrimp scampi is by far the best I’ve ever had. The wings are amazing and crisp. The chef puts his own little twist on everything and does an impeccable job. I highly recommended Jackson’s. The food, drinks and desserts are all excellent.
The food is SO GOOD! Everything is delicious and the beer list is surprisingly amazing. Worth the drive, we were staying in downtown but came out here for lunch :)
Great, low key atmosphere. Great food. Nicest staff. I wish I still lived in this city. I'd be here every night. 😊❤
Quality of food was fantastic! Service was on point and friendly. Definitely recommend coming here. I had the Black Truffle Burger and my husband had the Rib Eye steak and both were cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth meats and flavours that left your palate wanting more. New favorite restaurant! Thank you!
Found this hidden gem a few weeks ago! We have been back quite a few times since then and have been impressed every time! The food is superb! Great selection of craft beers on tap and wonderful friendly service! Definitely will continue to stop in for great eats!!
Although it might be difficult to see from the road, this restaurant is definitely worth finding!! They have the best burger I have eaten (Black Truffle Burger) the very best french fries (order them with the bearnaise) and a warm romaine salad with steak that is to die for! I have yet to have a bad meal here, and their Brunch on the weekends was exceedingly good! (Short Rib Hash for savory, Cream Cheese Sandwich for sweet). They have lots of great local beers and and entire page devoted to GOOD liquor (their Scotch choices are exceptional!!) Although I am not really a Rum drinker, their Ginger Mule is refreshing and not overly sweet.
This place is an awesome east side date night find!! We plan on going back often!
Their grand opening was last night, we went today for lunch expecting a glitch or two, but we were wonderfully surprised. The food was outstanding, and I'm a gourmet cook. The presentation was up to any standards you'd find on Master Chef. The staff was knowledgeable about the dishes. We thought it was an excellent, professional touch for the owner to greet and chat with guests.
The music wasn't to my taste, but they promised it would be better for Sunday brunch, and we're going back tomorrow. I want to see if their Croaking Monster is as good as I make at home.
For lunch I had the black truffle mac & cheese and it's easily the best mac & cheese I've ever eaten. My husband had the meatloaf sandwich and echoed my opinion.
You have to know they're there; their sign doesn't stand out and isn't visible from the street, but they're worth hunting for!

I don't normally do reviews, but this local restaurant deserves it. They have great attentive service, a great bar selection, and a fantastic menu of fresh cooked food. Their location is a little hard to see due to their signage, so hopefully this gives them a boost. Anyone on the east side owes themselves a trip to Jackson's!
We had the Happy Hour menu on a quiet Thursday afternoon. The meatball bruschetta was very tasty. The cocktails were mixed to perfection. The pulled pork and Cubano sliders were top notch. We are very happy to have Jackson Bar in our neighborhood.
Ate brunch here and everything tasted awesome! Even my eight year old daughter raved about the rolled French toast with blueberry jam. Their Bloody Mary is fantastic! Thank you Peter for a great experience! 🤗
I love the atmosphere and the bartenders are amazing. Always a good crowd, just a little expensive to call me a regular. Everything I have eaten off the menu has been a culinary masterpiece.
We ate at the Jackson Bar & Eatery tonight. Started out with a Black & Blue Mojito and "The Marge" margarita. Both were delicious; the margarita was particularly yummy. Then on to sliders and a Sonoran dog for the Mister and the pulled pork sandwich with Jackson fries for me. The Mister said the sliders and dog were quite good. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious--absolutely top drawer--and the Jackson fries are worth the trip alone. You have to look for this eatery along Tanque Verde west of Catalina Highway, but it is definitely worth finding. We will be back soon.
I ate here once and it was fantastic. I barely knew it was there because the sign is so hard to see. Definitely the highest quality food this far east by a landslide and I hope they do very well.
