Came in on Friday about 6:30, fortunately no waiting and were seated immediately. Place is very clean, prices are reasonable, especially for good Mexican seafood. On average, prices were a couple of dollars less than other local Mexican seafood restaurants. Food was extremely tasty with good portions and well priced. Dinner was served surprisingly fast. Presentation was fantastic and service was dutiful. They had live music by a husband and wife team that wasn't distracting but did make you want to get up and dance. We will definitely be returning. I highly recommend La Bocanita for a casual yet elegant dining experience in Tucson.

Food was just like when I went to Mexico. Good dinner prices , and they had lunch specials too. I would definitely go to this place if you love seafood they have many different options and are delicious I had a Shrimp burrito with enchilada sauce on top rice and beans and all of it is so filling ,couldn't even eat half of it was this only ten dollars for the dinner special but it was another couple that was sitting next to us that had a Volcano of food . It different meats,I saw and cheese and just all kinds of stuff in and I was looks so delicious and they said to that they was very filling and they couldn't eat it all either while but it looks so delicious

Was recommended this place by several friends. Great Mexican style Seafood! Seafood taco gobenador.(hope i spelled that right) is amazing. Huge variety of freshly prepared seafood and shellfish dishes. Goes well beyond the run-of-the-mill deep fried fish taco. Huge variety of grilled fish. Extremely affordable unlike other local seafood joints.

Great value, great food. Ceviche was huge (grande margarita glass with no fillers to make you think you got more than you really did, a common trick with ceviche and shrimp cocktail at other restaurants), serves up to 4, and only $12. My wife's salmon dish was about a full pound of salmon for about $15. I had the excellent molcajete dish. Enough in the take-home box for another meal - keep that in mind if take-home isn't an option for you - might want to split a dish in that case.

Food is fantastic. One suggestion, dress the salad with oil/vinegar. The sea bass is light, melts in your mouth. Service was great. Definitely going back!!
