The restaurant has changed its name to New China Sushi Grill Buffet. Everyone has different taste buds. Some like fried, oily, salty, and sugary foods. So what some people may like, others may hate. I like the restaurant because I can go and take a small SAMPLE of everything I think I would like, then go and get more of the foods that I find I do like. It also allows me the opportunity to try new foods rather than ordering it then finding out I don’t like it. The staff has always been respectful and considerate. It is a shame that people get upset when they see the sign telling customers to not WASTE food, otherwise they will be charged. I don’t think they ever enforced it because I see mounds of untouched food left on the tables when people leave. Most people in this country are extremely wasteful. They don’t seem to understand. They WANT lower prices but wasting huge amounts of food cost the restaurant BIG MONEY. Why take the food if you won’t eat it? The tremendous amount of food we waste every year in this country can literally feed the inhabitants of a third world country.
Easily Tucson's Best Chinese and Sushi Buffet. Exceptional value if you are a sushi fan. Great quality food on all oriental style food. A Mongolian grill option is available, i.e. pick your ingredients for a stir fry and they will cook them up for you for free.
They have a lot of different options and hey it's a buffet so you can't expect culinary masterpieces :)
First time I have been to the place since covid hit, the food got better, the service is still good but they don't like to talk to customers much. The main room has good AC but the outer rooms do not. The wonton soup is really good along with noodles
My family and I go here to eat (8+ people) and it’s our favorite buffet to go to because the food is amazing! The egg drop so is the best and I have at least 5 bowls every time I go. The atmosphere is nice and the people who work there take good care of you.
Loved it, haven't been here since 2018 yeah it's 2024 people Happy New Year's. My experience was exceptional the food first of all was super hot and fresh , the rice, chicken, beef , sushi, noodles, fruit snacks egg rolls sweet and sour sauce, the white rice was fluffy and not dry too . I am so looking forward to my next visit FYI I went at like 9pm Friday night and the beer was flat. #ForgetAboutIt 🫶
I haven't been to a buffet since we'll before the pandemic. I am always cautious about them also, as you pay a lot per person and the choices can be somewhat limited.
I think we paid 14.99 per person here. The choices were plentiful and fresh. I didn't see much in the way of dishes that hadn't been resupplied or were obviously not fresh.
I tried all the fried dishes - I liked the jumbo shrimp, orange chicken, fried chicken, spare ribs (or short not sure) - the sushi was good but some were bland in my opinion. I tried the steamed dumplings and those weren't my favorite. The deserts I tried were all good - the fried donuts were just too good - I mean, c'mon right?
My daughter had lomein noodles, orange chicken, mostly same things I had, and she liked everything too.
Overall it was a very nice dinner with my daughter - the employees are very nice, certainly attentive (used dishes were removed from our table, water glasses replenished, dishes on the buffet were kept fresh. I would go again - yummy stuff!
First time here and will definitely be going back. The selection was fantastic as well and the quality of food. Reasonably priced as well. We have 3 teenager's and they loved it too! The service we received was amazing. Our server was Jaiden, he was phenomenal to say the least. Such great work ethic for such a young man. His parents should be very proud of him!
Over it was just ok... you get your money's worth the salmon wasn't salmon but the fish was good..soups where good... fried rice is instant and I personally didn't like it...but everything was just ok...
Foods are ok. Sushi rolls are great but not many choices. The place is running down. Looks kinda desperate. Needs renovation.
Most of the fried food in trays under a sneeze shield is a little dry. Soups fine, deserts are fine also. The place is quiet. There's two tvs and you can see sports or kids shows.
Had not been there for years, i was very pleased the food was fresh and delicious 😋
It’s a great place to eat , great service good food thanks 😊
There is literally something for everyone in the family to enjoy. It's a buffet so if you're looking for fancy silverware or a show put on by the chef, this is not your place.
If you're looking for good food, a variety of food and a decent price, then this is your place.
The food was pretty ok... the building could use some maintenance!
