Salty Dawg has an amazing friendly environment and wide selection of quality food and drinks. The food quality is better than I have had at any other local bar and the service is always amazing!

Tucked away from main street..the homeless seems to enjoy this place as they walk past the outside dining and beg for things from customers. Aside from that the food is good for the price. The waitress seemed to take a long time to take our order and give us our bill.. not sure if they were short handed? I will come back for the food.
Celebrated my 65th with friends. Lots of great Karaoke and laughter.
It’s not fancy, it’s just awesome. A local sports bar option to watch the game (lots of TV’s with great viewing angles) and chow down on some good eats. The hot dogs are HUGE (and tasty), wings were great, and the beat Philly Cheese Steak sandwich I have found so far in Tucson (that a low bar though….can’t anyone make a juicy cheese steak)? Loved the big 23oz ice cold drafts.

Love this place! Good priced drinks and food. I always come for the Monday night 50¢ wings! They are so amazing! Mozzarella sticks could use a lil work not enogh cheese pull lol rather get the french fries that are think and crispy!
Good local bar. Only came for happy hour.
The fried zucchini sticks were good and they had about 10 beers on tap.
We recently has visited this establishment for dinner and drinks.
We thoroughly enjoyed the cold beer, the delicious food and a superb customer service that we experienced.
I would highly recommend this establishment.
The food is always good here, but service is sorta lacking when the bartender has to service the bar & and the entire dining room, too.
Update: Awesome place. Love our waitress, Ashley is the best. When we come in, she treats us like we are old friends. The house potato chips rock. Had the original Salty Dawg this evening, without the bun. I'm so glad I went without the bun. The dawg is huge. Love this place.

A quiet neighborhood bar! Beer is cold, food is tasty, and the staff are always very welcoming.
Surprisingly sophisticated for how completely unpretentious this place is. The venue is unremarkable, bit I've yet to have a night where I haven't been surprised by amazing fellow patrons. Also, the hot dogs are really, really big!
Seems like there was only one person working front end, but she did a great job. Steak night special came with a lot of food at a totally reasonable price. The tots could have been hotter, and the steak a bit more tender, but we'll be back again. Good ambiance and not too crowded, at least mid-week.
Great servers and bartenders. Food is good but alot of fried bar food.
We went for 50 cent wings. The wings were delicious and crispy they weren't stingy with the dips and the waiter was on point!
