Gotta say, this was a great little place to eat. Food was excellent, only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of selection. Would love to have a little more variety of seafood and possibly a little Cajun spice to the shrimp. BUT, service was excellent, staff was friendly and attentive. Got there around 5:30 and this place got hoppin around 6:00-6:20, but food was plentiful and staff kept up with everyone. For $20, you can’t beat it. Will be back for sure

Great place to stop by if you’re on the lake and need to find a bite to eat. Food was fresh, service was attentive, and drinks were great. Not only were drinks tasty, the menu has plenty of options, even for pickier guests which include sandwiches, baskets, and burgers. The location is the best and the environment felt open and friendly. I am totally coming by again when I’m on the lake !

Our friend's band was playing at this venue, it was our first time to visit. It was very crowded, an older man at the entrance told us to sit wherever we could find a seat, some nice people saw us looking for a table said they were leaving we could have theirs. Once seated I was approached by a waiter who stated we jumped the line yet we were told to go ahead, there was no line just people standing around and a sign that said "Please seat yourself". I tried to explain the older man who told us to go find a seat, instead of listening he got rude and left. We stayed the night, had dinner and drinks, listen to the band. Turned out the older man was the owner, I let him know we had a great evening and hoped to come back!

TLDR: Food was great, service was fast and friendly, Prices could be lower, but were still reasonable. I would recommend. I would return if I lived in the area or pass this way again. We weren't expecting much, but we had been lost in the woods for the past 2 or 3 hours after a previous hiking trip that had included some climbing. We were hungry. We were greeted right away and told that we could sit anywhere. There were maybe 4 tables indoors, but they were all available. Most people preferred to sit outdoors. The waitress was beyond friendly as she made recommendations and offered samples of the frozen drinks. I got the seafood combo with Rooster rice (spicy) and fried okra as my sides. I asked for my fish to be grilled instead of fried. I also ordered a bowl of gumbo, and the Dickel Drop frozen drink. My brother had the fish tacos and gumbo. We were both blown away by the flavors. The rooster rice may have been my favorite food there, but the shrimp were seasoned well, and the fish was cooked to perfection! The fried okra was hot, lightly battered, not gooey, but not over cooked either. I didn't have room for the gumbo, so I couldn't tell you more except that it had shrimp, cut up pieces of another meat, sausage perhaps, and my brother was very impressed by it. We couldn't stop laughing at the name of my drink from George Dickel's Tennessee Whiskey and sun drop soda I assume. Dickel Drop. If you drink to much... Prices were a little high, but about what you'd expect. 12 oz of Gumbo was $8.00, My seafood combo with a crab cake, 2 pieces of fish, 2 hush puppies (small and sweet like the waitress), maybe 8 shrimp (didn't count),and 2 sides were $21.00, and my Dickel Drop was $10.00. I would recommend this restaurant. I would like to eat there again.
