Had a great dinner Saturday night. Prhyme was recommended by our Concierge at the Aloft Hotel downtown Tulsa. I would recommend both places if you are visiting Tulsa. The restaurant serves dinner later than most downtown steakhouses, and the food and service were great. If you are in town for an event at PAC or BOK, I would also recommend the Aloft Hotel, which is a "W" Property. Nice, and very convenient. Great staff, and they know what's going on downtown. Thanks to both of you for showing was makes Tulsa a place to look forward to coming back to. Mac -Dallas, TX.

Arrived at the time of our reservation, promptly seated, quickly brought our drinks. Waiter's suggestions for drinks were spot on. Dessert was great as well (midnight chocolate cake, I believe it was called). While both drinks and dessert were great, I cannot even begin to describe the meal itself. It was exceptional. By far the best steak I have ever had. Mother and I both ordered the petite filet mignon and couldn't stop talking about it. 10/10 would recommend and will be back.

My husband and I went for our anniversary. We both thought the whole visit was absolutely amazing! Service was great and our food was the best thing we've ever tasted. He had a New York strip with the peppercorn crust and I had the 6 oz filet. Both of us had a side Cesar with the anchovies and shared an order of the garlic smashed potatoes. This place is absolutely amazing. Worth every penny! We will definitely be visiting again.

Ate here for the first time Saturday night. Food was amazing, truly amazing. I had the filet and my wife had the salmon, both perfect. The service was top notch and the manager went above and beyond for our party. I would definitely dine here again and recommend it to others.

The service was excellent, impeccable! Food was delicious, I ordered the "surf and turf" with scallops and petite medallions of filet. I ordered it black and blue(very rare/raw) and it was a bit overdone but the Bernaisse sauce was so delicious I didn't mind! Quiet relaxing atmosphere, definitely one of our new favs!

Enjoyed a delicious celebratory family dinner here last night. Food was excellent and service was fabulous. The atmosphere is elegant, but relaxed. Menu has good options in a range of prices, as does the wine list. Highly recommended.

All the food was delicious- starters, salads, sides, steak, and dessert! Cooked perfectly, timing between each course was great, too. Service was excellent, very pleasant and attentive. Wine list had lots to choose from, I'm always happy to see my favorite Italian wines included!

Maybe the best steak (6oz filet) I've had in years! Service was excellent and the wedge salad and chocolate cake (ala mode) were both exceptional.

Best steak in town. Get either filet. Wonderful service. Expensive but worth it. Good sides, wine, deserts, and coffee. Celebrating? Go here.

A couple of friends and I have been going downtown for the last year saving Prhyme for something special. We have agreed among ourselves that any establishment in downtown must be a cut above the rest to make it in the downtown scene. We went to Prhyme for my birthday along with my parents. For a location where you have to be a cut above the rest Prhyme was pure perfection. The atmosphere was beautiful. Temperatures were very comfortable. The food was cooked to perfection. Granted it was pricy but worth every penny. I will be back.

I really enjoyed my experience at PRHYME, from the food and the atmosphere, to the service, everything was right in place. People who are complaining about the price? Yes, it is pricey, but it is in a great location, is a nice looking place, and delivers great product.. You get what you pay for.

Update: went to PRHYME last night for dinner. Had perhaps the best steak I've ever had. 30 day dry aged prime bone-in ribeye.. Cooked rare and enjoyed with a bottle of Orin Swift's Papillon. Erin was our server and did a beautiful job, she was very friendly and informative. Moving this from a 4.5, to a 5.

I was a little hesitant to go because I heard several people say the portions are small and the food is overrated. My experience was very different. Although a very expensive meal, the food and service were top-notch.

Our appetizer was fried escargot. It was good, but I don't know if it tasted much different from any other fried food with similar texture (like calamari). This was my first time to try escargot so I cannot give a good comparison of fried to other preparations.

Sunday night has a special in which you can have two side-by-side 4oz. filets. One is a grass-fed steak and one is the standard steak. I was surprised how much better a grass-fed cow tastes. Both were grilled to perfection and very delicious, but there was something especially good about the grass-fed steak. It also came with a salad and a side. I had a Caesar salad. It was good unless you hate anchovies. Not quite as good as Celebrity Club's Caesar salad, but that is an extremely high bar. My side was brussel sprouts which were well-seasoned and pretty good.

For dessert we had crème brûlée. It was ridiculously good. It was makes-you-giggle-as-you-eat good. Along with dessert, I had a French press coffee. One of the best cups of coffee I've ever had.

The only thing keeping me from giving a 5-rating is that the appetizer, side, and salad were just good and not spectacular. However, the cocktails, steak, dessert, coffee, and service from the staff could not have been better.

Ordered from the half-price bar menu on a Monday, early evening. We had three beers, We split the bleu burger with fries, and the fried mac & cheese. Nice bar area. I was hoping for a bigger beer selection, but they had a few solid options. The fried mac & cheese wasn't big enough to be a meal on its own. It was tasty, but more of an appetizer. The burger was fantastic. The fries were good, too. As good as this burger was, it still doesn't beat the Tavern burger which is half the cost of Prhyme's during it's happy hour. A great burger, just overshadowed by its predecessor.

Great Meal near Brady Theater!. Great meal that my wife and I shared prior to Dancing With The Stars performance at Brady Theater (a 2-block walk from Prhyme). Food was excellent: filet and surf and turf cooked to perfection, outstanding lump crab cocktail, killer desserts (chocolate cake and crème brulee). Service from Cameron and others was impeccable! Classy setting that became more vibrant as evening evolved. We will visit again for special occasions or events at Brady!

One of the only reasons I go Downtown. The old saying "You get what you pay for" applies. If you like aged beef that is cooked perfectly then this is your place. Wish I could get my wife to order something other than Salmon anywhere we go, but oh well, more for me. Hard to get a table but that is not always a bad thing. Prhyme offers me everything I want, Steak prepared by people who appreciate and know Steak. Sides are great, service and atmosphere second to none. The one thing that really blew my mind was their house steak sauce. Before you judge me, let it be known that I would rather chew my own foot off than put steak sauce on a $40+ piece of prime steak, but I am glad I did. Not sure what was in it, but it scratched me right where I itched. I cannot adequately explain how profound and deep that sauce was. I may leave my wife for it.

Great meal, great experience. I had heard about Prhyme since it opened but didn't get a chance to go until last weekend. I felt like the service we got was above and beyond, from the host to our waiter. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks and was able to strike that perfect balance of being helpful but not overwhelming. He answered all of our questions about the dry aged steaks, and that is exactly what we had (they were delicious!). The chef even sent us a complimentary side of brussel sprouts with our steaks, and everything else from our salads to our other sides (red potatoes, mac and cheese) were exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and preferred this atmosphere to some of the other upscale steakhouses in south Tulsa.

Great food and service. We had heard of Prhyme for awhile, but rarely are in the area for dinner. We were at a concert last weekend and were pleased to see them open on Sunday and taking reservations. To be brief: The the steaks were cooked to perfection, sides were all very good, and the Cold Water Lobster Pasta was fantastic. Yes the prices were on the higher end, but in line with most good steakhouses. We will be back.

My wife a Margarita and chopped salad. Myself Bloody Mary and Lobster Bisque. We are both pleased with the food quality, Service and overall value. I look forward to cong back in the near future for the Beef.
Bloody Mary not as good as the last restaurant. I suppose it is possible that I am on a bloody journey; )

Everything was wonderful. Atmosphere was near perfect for the 4 of us to enjoy the bar, dining and the company. The bar tender was knowledgeable and helpful, particularly loved The Plantation cocktail. The food was well balanced and flavorful. We shared multiple salads and entrees. I can't wait to go back!

Pleasure at Prhyme.. I'm serious about my dining experience. I have focused my dining experiences in many cities. Living most of my time in Manhattan, New Orleans and Dallas. First of all atmosphere is right up there with the cuisine for me. Prhyme has great people watching mirrors, beautiful color, and not a lesser table location in the house.
The food was right up there with Commander's Palace in New Orleans. Sensitive to the food issues of our times as well, the grass fed beef was just the right size, and flavor.
The staff was very insightful to our body language. She left us alone when we wanted to be and she was there when we wanted her to be. She didn't interrupt our conversation. The crab cake was exactly the way she described it full of chunks of hand picked white crab meat from gulf coast crabs. The dessert reminded me of Windows on the World before 911 destroyed it. We had the ultimate in chocolate. We had a pleasurable time at Prhyme.
Definitely food snobs.

Mixed bag. Pros: really good food, stylish, friendly staff

Cons: Staff needs better training for a restaurant with a per person avg. check of $100 plus. We asked our waiter for a white Burgundy or California Chard in that style and he didn't know what I was asking and was honest enough to say as much. He suggested we try the Keenan wines they were featuring. I asked what the Chard was like and he said; "google it". That's a bit over the top for a restaurant that claims to have a wine director on staff and an expansive list. We got there early. The aged Strip was 86'd. Place still needs work

Not as Good as Mahogany. Here is how Prhyme compares to Mahogany, which is Tulsa's best restaurant:

Location: Prhyme is located in an up-and-coming district Downtown. Mahogany is on the cusp of South Tulsa surrounding a bunch of hospitals. No contest. Advantage: Prhyme.

Atmosphere: Prhyme has a cool, well-lit vibe and a swank bar area. Mahogany is lit like a depressed vampire's bedroom. Advantage: Prhyme.

Service: Servers at both places are attentive, but the servers at Mahogany act like they graduated from Sommelier State University. Prhyme's servers aren't there yet. Advantage: Mahogany.

Menus: Yes, I'm talking about the physical menu. Prhyme has substantive, trendy-looking menus. Mahogany's menus are laminated paper, and an embarrassment. Advantage: Prhyme.

Appetizers and Sides: Prhyme's corn is significantly better than Mahogany's and Mahogany's al gratin potatoes are better than Prhyme. Prhyme also has really good bacon brussel sprouts, but has no answer for Mahogany's lobster Mac and Cheese or lobster-cargot. Advantage: Mahogany.

Chicken: just kidding, why would you EVER get chicken at either place?

Steak: My test for a truly great steak is if it makes me want to close my eyes and savor each bite. Mahogany's does that to me, Prhyme's does not (though Prhyme's steak is second-best in town). No science there, but that's how I feel. Advantage: Mahogany.

Portions: Larger at Mahogany. Advantage Mahogany.

Prices: Remarkably, Prhyme is more expensive than Mahogany. Advantage: Mahogany.

Name: Both are hard for me to spell correctly, but Prhyme, come on. advantage: Mahogany.

Mahogany wins 6 to 3. Prhyme is good, but if you are going to break the bank for a great steak, I can't imagine why you would ever pick Prhyme over Mahogany.

If there's one food I know, it's steak and Prhyme is the best in Tulsa. And the service is second to none. It's also an excellent place to conduct business as it's not overly loud. A great change from the chain steakhouses.

Ignore the haters. This place is solid.. Think the last few reviews here are somewhat puzzling (and even misinformed). my buddy and i eat here regularly and have had nothing but excellent food and service. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Steaks and sides are great. Always get the filet with foie gras butter and have never been disappointed. Also - Corn chowder appetizer is fantastic.

Reviewer who says there is no shrimp cocktail or lobster on the menu is wrong. Both are right there on the menu.

And regarding the reviewer who states blue crab must be canned since it's supposedly only in season in the fall needs to visit Maryland sometime. He or she is simply misinformed. Have had fresh crab cakes in Baltimore many, many times in spring and summer. Google it if you think I'm wrong!

Amazing food. You haven't had steak until you have a 40 day dry aged ribeye. It's the most pricey cut, but so worth it. The flavor is different, and ruined me for other steaks. Go there immediately. Right now. Order anything and thank me later.

Five Stars!!!. Our first dinner at Prhyme was an absolute success. For those who say not to try out a restaurant in the first month have not dined at one of Justin Thompson’s restaurants. Everything, from the cocktails to the condiments, was AMAZING.
We began our night with the lobster cocktail, blue crab bake, and the fire roasted corn and crab bisque. The Hendricks gin cocktail sauce was so good I wanted to eat it with a spoon. The blue crab bake was creamy and crispy with great flavor. It was such a great appetizer. The fire roasted corn and crab bisque was probably good, my date devoured it before anyone else could try it. He said it was fantastic.
For my entrée I really wanted to order the crab ravioli but my date told me I could not go to a steak house and not order a steak. I am so glad I did. It was hands down the best steak I have ever had. I chose a grass fed tenderloin, grass fed being a leaner beef, it was still the most succulent and well-cooked steak I have ever had in my life. I ordered it with a side of bleu cheese cream. Good thing I am not a food critic because I don’t even have words to describe how good it was. Perfectly mild and creamy to compliment, but not overpower the great taste of the steak.
We dined with some friends, everyone ordered a different side to complement their dinner. I chose the 7 min asparagus. It was difficult to share, not because of the portion size (family style sides), but because it was SO good. Why don’t fried eggs come on more things in my life?
The wine list was incredible. Very large, but well organized so it was not a daunting task to find a wine to suite our tastes. Our service was very spot on. The restaurant is decorated very modern and classy.

No, this isn’t going to be one of those joints where you can get a 3 course steak dinner for 29.99. It is a fine dining steak house and for the quality I don’t think you can do better in Tulsa.

Foodie Love. When you walk into this restaurant...you know you are in for a special evening. The atmosphere is upscale but not gaudy. A nice touch of contemporary elegance.

We started our meal with the beef tartare that was absolutely to die for. The meat and accouterments that came with the appetizer was perfectly balanced. Following the appetizer was the corn and crab bisque. Perfectly smooth and not too heavy (as many bisques can be.) The crab was sweet and cooked to perfection.

The main event of the evening was the ribeye with the foie gras butter. It was quite unique being able to choose from grass-fed or corn-fed beef. Being an Oklahoma gal, we opted for the corn-fed. And it did not disappoint. To partner with the meal, we chose a bottle of the Reynolds Family Cabernet from Napa Valley. It was one of over 100 bottles to choose from. One of the best cabs I have ever had in quite some time.

We finished off the meal with a creme brulee that was perfectly textured and not over or under cooked. It had the perfect sugar crust. Not too little. Not too much. Their french press for two featured Henderson coffee from OKC. A perfect pairing for dinner.

For those complaining about price point...this is a fine dining restaurant with white linens, a sommelier who visits your table, and food that is loaded with creativity and flavor. If you expect this at a lower price point, then that is totally unrealistic. In my opinion, it was worth every penny.

Picky kees FYI: You are not able to have the stuffed chicken without mushrooms Ambiance: Very cozy and intimate. Not as big as I assumed it would be, but I enjoyed the peace. Service: It's definitely a team atmosphere at the bar, which I actually appreciated. Didn't have to wait long for anything. Food: I ended up the stuffed chicken, which I was on the fence about because I'm not a fan of mushrooms. But there weren't too many overall, I barely even noticed. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal. Potatoes were soft and fluffy, and beans were crisp and refreshing.

Beautiful environment and even better food. We ate here before going to see the symphony and it was the perfect choice. Our server was Rachel (with red hair 😉) and she made the evening more enjoyable. She was very nice and knowledgeable of the drinks and food. We started with the crab cake and iceberg salad and moved onto the 12oz filet with Brussels and loaded potatoes. Everything was incredible! The steak was absolute perfection! And do not forget the bread service… NOTHER LEVEL! Just when we didn’t think it could get any better we ordered hands down the best dessert we ever had, carrot cake. We went here for my belated birthday dinner. This wasn’t dinner, this was a dining experience. We had the BEST server who was extremely knowledgeable about everything on every menu and everything offered off menu. He even set up a mini blind wine tasting! The atmosphere is fabulous, tasteful low volume music and plenty of room between tables. A lady down from us didn’t have anywhere to place her purse, so they brought her a purse stool! We had appetizers, mixed drinks, dinner (with wine) and desserts. Not one single thing we put in our mouths was anything less than culinary perfection. For reference, I went to Mahogany’s a few weeks prior for the first time. These two restaurants shouldn’t even share a sentence, it’s disrespectful to Phryme.

Had a date night at Pryhme. The food was amazing. Everything I tried was delicious. I highly recommend the charcuterie. The only thing that wasn't wonderful was the greenbeans. They were unseasoned and just ordinary compared to everything else. The service was good but there was still room for improvement. It took a long time to get drinks refilled and it wasn't that busy. The atmosphere was pleasant but not amazing. It was overall a great date outing but it's pretty expensive not something I could justify more than once or twice a year for special occasions. Dinner for 2 with appetizer, dessert, and 2 drinks came to about $250.

The service was great. The only reason they got 4 stars was because I ordered a final drink after dinner, and they never brought it to me. Everyone was ready to leave after their desert, so I didn't think anything about it. The waiter did not charge us for the drink, so I decided to let it slide. The atmosphere is good, but the acoustics are poor. There is a lot of echo when there are a lot of people talking in the dining room so it is hard to hear if you are not near someone speaking.
