We were visiting for the weekend and it was an awesome place to watch the Iowa game. Atmosphere was great with all the Oklahoma fans! The food was amazing. I got the lobster and crab bisque, truffle fries and a mimosa. My husband loved the WAG burger. The staff was fast and friendly!
Ended up here for brunch by mistake & will definitely be coming back. The food was excellent, staff was super friendly, & the beer & drink selection was one of the best I've seen.

The Cuban Sandwich is over the top good. Probably one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! It packs some spice, but not too much. A must try.
Met for lunch with some friends on the patio. Wonderful time, food, and waitress Emiy was fantastic. They had a great lunch special.

Great food and service! Went for lunch with a big group of ladies and our waitress was fabulous! She handled our big group perfectly. Wish I would have caught her name, but I came late to the group. I ordered the double blt with egg and truffle fries for my side. So delicious! My bacon could have been a little bit more crisp for my taste but other then that, it was a great experience!
Best Bar and Grill on the Brookside Strip. Great food. The food is the quality of a nice restaurant but you get the atmosphere of a pub. Service is on point. I would suggest for any game night or social gathering that involves booze and food!
Love love love their double BLT with a fried egg & truffle fries. Best truffle fries I've had! Not a fan of their pizzas. Their brunch is great! Wish it was offered on Saturday's! Went to lunch there today & they had the same item on the menu (chicken sandwich) listed 3 times. Kinda odd. Overall R bar is a good brunch or happy hour place!
Great place to sit back and enjoy a game!. R Bar is great for drinks and a football game. Really appreciate the work they've done, and continue to do on the outdoor seating areas. The owners are always around and are very accommodating and attentive, delicious food too!
Classy place. Iv been going to this place for years, so Iv seen it go through many changes through the years and I still love and enjoy the place. I really like the new set up and expanded seating.
No outdoor mime. Menu was creative, yet food lacked passion. Not saying I hated it, but whoever created R bar was obviously talented, but then they walked away for a smoke break and never came back. Atmosphere is typical brookside which needs a womans touch to survive otherwise it will be the dead houseplant you never throw away.
Good staff and amazing burgers. New favorite place to watch the games!

It's hit or miss. I have gone about 4 times. I have been delighted and disappointed. The smoked pretzel is usually always perfection but the last time I went, there was none of the distinctive smoky flavor and it was very disappointing, also my $5 side salad was lettuce (wilted and brown) and a few onions (as I asked for no tomatoes). I have gotten the Caesar salad twice and I have never gotten the garlic or bread that was supposed to come with it. The 2nd time I asked for the bread and received 3 pieces of what seemed like melba toast out of a box. Zero flavor - very disappointing due to the prices of their food. I love the patio though. And I have had the club sandwich which was good and the chicken torpedoes which were also very good. I may give it one more try but if I am again disappointed I will not be back. Service is OK (just like most places really). They make good drink (although a bit pricey there as well - my son ordered a beer without looking at the menu and the one beer was $14). There is a super nice older gentleman who is always busting his butt there. Just wanted to give him props.
Great burger. I had the Wagger (I think is right), on $5 burger night. Friggin' amazing! Fried egg and bacon on top of a delicious burger cooked to order with all the fresh trimmings. I ate on the patio.and enjoyed a skoke and a brew. I'll be back for burger night for sure.
WOW!. Brunch here is amazing!!!!! I have never tried chicken and waffles before and these were to die for! This is the absolute gourmet version you will ever eat! No greasy or anything! Cooked to perfection! The only thing that is an absolute rip off is there mimosa's! $10 for a jar full of orange juice! Leon's runs a $2 flute special which is what we normally hit up after we eat breakfast! YUM!
RRRRRR.... Good!. Been to R Bar four or five times now and will probably go back! It's a pleasant change in looks from the 'Rose. Had the French Dip that was wonderful as were the Chicken & Waffles and my wife loves the Donut Holes for desert. It IS pretty noisy though so you will have to speak up a little, but as always in that location, there is a good food and a good time to be had!

Had brunch this morning, excellent as usual, food and service is alway great.
My boyfriend and I went here last weekend for a quick drink before meeting friends. I had a ginger margarita and it was good but a bit strong. He had some chicken cigars and they were absolutely fantastic! Kind of like a chicken taquito. Great bar with outside patio, we loved it!

Great bar food. For pub fare this is some of the best we have had in Tulsa. Service was pretty green, but I know they have opened recently...On a nice day its a great place to drink a few beers with some friends on the patio.
Excellent Food!. So far, I have not had a dish that I didn't like. The crap dip is amazing and the portions are huge! Ladies might want to share a dish with a friend. This is not the best place for wine (it's a little on the pricey side) but they have plenty of other beverages to choose from.
R Bar is a Gastropub extraordinaire. The owner, Bill Grant, a top notch, kind, yet savvy Tulsa business man, knows how to run a great establishment. And when he's present, things run smooth. I've been going to R Bar since it opened and for the most part, it's been great. From the food, to the service, including the menu items and beer selections. I would say the Old Fashions, of which I'm a huge fan of, are made too sweet for my taste. The food is pretty good, usually...but on this particular day, they were off...from service, to food and just overall treatment. I didn't see Bill, which may have been a big part because usually, when he's there, it's always good. My brother and I ordered the Margarita Pizza and the Lamb Shank. The Margarita came with cherry tomatoes, which should never be true to the recipe. They should come with thinly sliced roma tomatoes...always. And should also come with fresh basil, which in this case, seems like it came with jarred pesto
Amazing place also if you travel with dogs.
A very good choice of beers, drinks and delicious food! The place is very clean and nice and perfect also in the winter because the patio is closed and heated. We asked for some grilled chicken breast for our big dog and they bring it in a dog bowl!

I really liked it. I got the Cuban sandwich. It was very good. The waitress did an excellent job. She was on the ball. Two thumbs up. We will go back. My grand daughter and my wife, said there food was very good.
I went to R Bar & Grill on a Taco Tuesday night. I tried the mahi mahi, cauliflower, and the short rib. They were all good but my favorite was the short rib. I also tried the mac and cheese which was out of this world. It was the best mac and cheese that I have ever had. Oh my goodness, it was sooo good!
I would definitely be back for the mac and cheese. I’d also like to try other menu items. I liked the relaxed atmosphere as well. It was very nice and low key.
This is a fun and vibrant place to enjoy great, delicious food and refreshing drafts! I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was amazing! Big YUM! And the servers are friendly and efficient!

We were passing by Tulsa in a cross country trip and wanted to grab brunch at another restaurant but they didn’t let us in because we had a dog.
When we came across R Bar and Grill!!!! We had the best chicken and waffles with a jalapeño syrup that to died for, the salad was delicious as well. The service was amazing and they where so nice to our dog!!! 🙏✨
R bar, great food nice surroundings, bathrooms too small! May not seem important but it is, larger sinks for washing hands needed to encourage cleanliness!
Excellent patio, great food, and wonderful craft cocktails. They have a decent gluten-free menu selection for my husband and the tomato bisque is gluten-free, rare treat! Furthermore the patio is great practically anytime of year and pet friendly. The service is good, they always bring a water bowl, and are attentive.
Nice place to sit at the patio. Friendly staff that was fast. I should have done more looking at it as I expected more restaurant then bar. This showed a litttle in the food. Tast is great although a little boring. Ideally for a lunch or just hanging out on a friday and enjoy a dinner and some drinks.
Amazing food options for such a small menu. Drinks were average. Meals were served promptly and the servers were prompt with requests as well. Only caution is to check the humidity before coming to eat outside. Not all of the outside patio is covered, leading to bugs and exposure to the Tulsa humidity. Overall, good experience. Would come again for the food and drinks.

Be careful with the apps - they are huge!! We did order 3 of them (lol). We got the quiche, Keto bowl, and chefs special (changes weekly I believe) for entrees and they were wonderful. All good pictured.
Service was great too. The manager came out many times to greet guests and check on everything - great customer service!

Stopped in and had an excellent burger with some of the best dipping sauce (I didn't get to ask what it was). The pretzel is your standard pretzel, but it doesn't diminish it's quality as I greatly enjoyed it as well.
I’ve always loved R Bar! The food is delectable and the service during lunch hour is great! I love the Brussel sprouts and there are plenty to share with 2-3 people. I ordered the chipotle aioli on the side. There seemed to be some kind of mustard on some of the Brussels at the bottom of the basket, I’m not sure what that was. I also love the grilled chicken on the caesar salad, yum! I can’t wait to try the chicken and waffles and truffle fries!
Tasty food. Great patio! Lots of seating offered inside and out. I could have sat here longer. Great for groups and dogs allowed. They had something called a Champ Bomb or something like that. It was cool looking, but at the same time confusing. Champagne enthusiasts are rolling in their graves and it just felt wrong. But there were a lot of people doing it. So yep. Little on the pricier side, but not ridiculous.
So good! First, we have a small dog and it is nice to have a heated patio to enjoy our meal with the pup! The brussel sprouts are ridiculously good! Everything we have eaten (burgers, grilled cheese, french dip) or drank (margaritas, apple mimosa, beer) have been on point, delicious! Also, very well-priced. Even when taking things to go, they are mindful of the diner needs. I'd be here every day with the pup if I could! Thanks for being so thoughtful and pet friendly!
I’ve tried a new fancy cocktail drink each time I’ve come here! They have all been so good! I’ve tried almost all of their menu but the R-B-Que half chicken is my favorite. The chips and salsa were nice and spicy too!
We are usually in here during the night time, but de used to come in for their brunch! We started off the with doughnut holes and those DID NOT disappoint. We each also got their mason jar mimosas. One thing that I was not expecting was their syrup is just honey. The taste was different for sure. My husband got a side of sausages and bacon and oh boyyyy that was a big side haha got some left overs for the next day! I'd recommend their chicken and waffles. Seriously so tasty!
