Very calm setting and staff. The food has a very authentic taste and there’s a large amount of menu options. The General Tso Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Crab Rangoons, Fried Rice, and Spring Rolls is what I had when I went. Definitely recommend!
First time eating at GiGi’s, service was a little slow but staff was very friendly. I ordered the Beef and brócoli and my husband ordered the chicken Lo mein with extra veggies and we ordered spring rolls. Food was delicious and tasted freshly made. Definitely cooked to order.
If you like Cantonese, GiGi’s has some of the most amazing food. She has also added milk tea and other treats, but the basics like wide noodles are so incredible.
We’ve been coming here for years and love this place. My kid who toured China said that her dishes are the most like what she had there.
My fiance and I just found this place today (12/22/2023). And we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. The place is family owned and they're so polite.
For me to like a place, especially an Asian cuisine, depends on how they do their fried rice, and this place did it right. So they got a new pair of repeat customers.
We arrived around 5:30 pm on a Saturday evening and there were only two other couples besides ourselves. Our server was very nice, helpful, and checked on us often throughout our dining experience. As for the food, my wife ordered Mongolian beef with steamed rice while I went with the curry beef tendon minus the rice.
Both dishes arrived at the same time, hot, and with fresh quality ingredients. As always, I have to sample my wife's dish to see if I regret not ordering what she got since it happens very often that her meal looks and tastes better than mine. The beef was tender, veggies were fresh, and flavor was good. Although the flavor was good, it didn't shine as much as another local place that we frequent.
Now, onto my curry beef tendon. I didn't realize it was going to be a soup, but I like trying new dishes, so I was still all for it. Honestly, it gave me pot roast vibes with an Asian flare. The beef was very tender, melt in your mouth, and took on the flavor of the soup. It came with th8n sliced carrots, slivers of onion, and small potatoes halved . The broth had a good subtle curry undertone with a soup like consistency rather than being thicker like a Thai or Indian curry.
Between the freshness and great service, my wife and I concluded we would return to try other menu items. If I were to have a complaint, which isn't really a complaint, would be their old menu on Google Maps, had pictures of the menu items so you can visually see what you're ordering, unlike the new menu it text only with no description.
This restaurant was recommended by a couple of friends. Today was our first time dinning here. We ordered BBQ Pork, Beef flat noodles, and Taiwan Five Flavored Duck (I forgot to take the picture of the duck dish). Each dish is perfect and very flavorful. I highly recommend beef flat noodles and BBQ pork. If you like authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go and definitely, order from their Chinese menu. Tony and Gigi are a really nice couple.
Everything is so fresh and piping hot, made to order! The cheese wontons are the best I've had in Tulsa, and 6 for only $2.90! The sushi rolls are pretty big (like double the size of yokozuna) and had fresh real Wasabi. One of us loved the sushi and one thought it was...eh. The pork ribs with black bean sauce had decent flavor, we just wished they were braised or seared before serving. Overall, we would go back and try more cooked items. We can't get over the cheese wontons...had to grab 2 orders to go!
Everything at GiGi's is amazing and made to order. The staff were all very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when viewing the menu. I would definitely recommend GiGi's to everyone.
Great quality authentic food, great service, reasonable prices.
Tried this place on a whim as I have recently moved to a job down south and now have so many new restaurants to try. Very pleased with my experience here with my dish (beef in hot chili) being exceptionally authentic as was the cup of hot and sour soup I got. Will definitely be trying this place again.
In terms of a Chinese taste. It tastes good. The serving speed is very fast. The communication was very pleasant. Full score for the environment. The dish is 9.5 points. All atmosphere is comfortable. It just lacks some background music to reduce noise. Generally speaking, it can be regarded as a good restaurant in many Chinese restaurants. Recommended
Based on reviews, I expected the food to be mind blowing. It was good, but nothing special. I ordered the G1, one of their specialty dishes which included shrimp, chicken, beef, & veggies in a hunan sauce. The food was cooked well — the meat was tender — but nothing was seasoned. The only flavor was from the sauce, which also needed salt. The service was friendly and fast, the restaurant was clean, the portions were large, but the food lacked seasoning.
Food and service were great! Definitely recommend the ramen! Wish they had hot sake and maybe a happy hour/discount sushi deal or something because some of the rolls get a bit pricey. We will definitely be back though and hope everyone keeps realize how great Gigi’s is!
Just recently found this place. Today I ordered the chicken ramen and it was divine. They make there own ramen noodles. The wait staff was great was well. Just a warning, it's a large bowl, so be prepared for leftovers.
Very delicious meal. Friendly and fast staff! Our portions were VERY generous. Flavorful and filling. Definitely recommend for authentic Cantonese food!
Food was fresh and had amazing flavor! A friend of mine referred me to this place and I’d say it’s a winner. The beef was tender and broth was well seasoned and the noodles were cooked perfect. Not too hard or soft. The sushi I ordered was basic sushi so I’m not going to judge it. I’ll try something a little more exotic and special. Good sized portions and great prices. I highly recommend.
Smaller interior but always clean. They have an authentic Chinese menu as well as Americanized menu, we’ve always ordered from authentic which is typically very good! I will say that one time we came the food was under-salted but overall usually the food is consistent. My favorite dish is the spicy stuffed braised tofu. 红烧豆腐 a great place to try some authentic Chinese in a cozy environment.
