One of my favorite places to come when I'm visiting Texas, They do live music at night. I always get the same thing when I go this time we got spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer and it was one of the best I've ever had. And I always get there fried green tomatoes and the Texas shaped jalapeno cornbread and it's so good it's one of my favorite things when I'm visiting here. The decorator's place is so adorable very nice to have an outside area with fire pits to sit around they also do live music out night outside. I would recommend this place

Great patio with live music. Very friendly and attentive staff. The menu has several gluten-free choices including sides. The smoked brisket enchiladas were very good. The Texas Dip was good but needs more horseradish. The grilled chicken and strawberry salad was terrific. The Hill Country Old Fashioned had a good flavor and a nice kick.

I went to Texas Music City Grill & Smokehouse Tyler two weekends ago with four of my girlfriends for a much needed date night. All of us girls either work, are moms, in school, or a combo of all, and we do not have the opportunity to spend enough time with one another much less get out of the house. We made reservations a few weeks in advanced for our girls datenight and when we arrived, Texas Music took us right out to a patio table. Although we came on a Saturday night, they made sure to keep our reservation on time. Mary was our server and she informed us in two hours there was going to be live music playing outside at the patio. We really was not sure if we were going to stay for two hours; we ended up staying for well over two hours because of how wonderful the food was, how good the drinks were, how much we laughed, but most of all, how well Mary took care of us. Our table was always bused, drinks never ran out, food was served hot and fresh, and Mary had us laughing all night. Mary really made our night enjoyable. We did not have any idea about what we wanted to eat or drink because we were so wrapped up in conversation but thankfully Mary was knowledgeable (and patient lol) and she was able to help us decide. I had the king ranch bloody mary, a few other amazing drinks (one was blue), shrimp tacos, and we had about four different appetizers. We tried about nine different drinks between the table and all of Mary's recommendations were wonderful. That bloody mary though was like a whole meal and the drink was so good. We will absolutely be back on our next girls datenight!!!

This is the neatest restaurant I've ever been to and probably the best food also. The owner's collection of old guns, knives, mounts, etc. Covering all of the walls and in many show cabinets inside this huge restaurant/bar is awsome I should have taken pictures inside.

We decided to try Texas Music City Grill & Smokehouse after seeing it from a previous visit to Tyler. Our waiter, Joshua, did a good job of checking on us and letting us know when our food would be out. My wife had the steak, and I had the cajun catfish with etouffe. The reason for not having a 5-star rating is that the shrimp in the etouffe was overcooked, and the fish was hard to cut and chew. I'm not sure what they did to make fish hard to eat.
