I've had pizza all over the world. I had pizza in Paris last spring, I've had Pizza in the Philippines, Germany, Senegal, and Liberia. I've had pizza in Chicago. This pizza was FANTASTIC. One of the best pizzas i've ever had anywhere in the World. I drove 45 minutes to eat at Sola and it was VERY worth it! Wonderful char on the crust, beautiful sauce made with simple ingredients. Crisp crust, no grease, not overloaded with things so you can taste each ingredient. Also enjoyed the bread and oil plate, the charcuterie, and cheese and fruit plate. Their bread is fantastic. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere perfect for my big family. We'll be back next time we're within an hour of Sola! <3
Such an awesome experience! There are just a handful of restaurants in Tyler where you can find food with such high quality, pure ingredients. And the flavor from the wood-fired oven is heart-warming. We're insanely grateful to the Sola Bread crew for bringing it to us Tylerites. Our family favorites are the Charcuterie and the Ipanema.
If you appreciate quality food... this place should be on your “Frequent” list. Pastries? Superior! Pizza? Sublime! They know what they’re doing and they’re crushing it! So happy to have a place like this in Tyler, TX!
I have been a fan of Sola’s bread and pastries from the Farmers Market for years now, and am thrilled they have a brick-and-mortar location now! I love the little spotty bits of darker/charred crust on the bottom, it add so much character to the texture and flavor of the crust alone, not to mention the toppings! Everything is SUPER fresh, homemade, and made to order from start to finish- they literally start with a ball of dough and toppings when you order. This is a family business that pours everything they are into this labor of love, and they are so happy to work with you or remake something that isn’t up to specs since they take their craft very seriously.
Support local! Support family business! Support Sola!
This is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!! I love that all the ingredients are natural and homemade. I could eat this pizza evvvveeerrrryyyyy day!!! And don’t even get me started on how amazing the bread and pastries are!!!!
Can’t begin to explain how good the pizza is... I’ve tried loads of “craft/gourmet” pizza and Sola is the reigning benchmark. The Ipanema is by far my favorite, but there’s absolutely no way to go wrong on their menu.
Don’t cheat your body. You need Sola pizza in your life! Hand tossed. Brick oven. Fresh ingredients. It’s so good, I give myself a high five.
Been waiting for ages to try the pizza and holy MOLY was it worth the wait! Legit the best pizza I’ve had in years. BRAVO!
Great pizza and atmosphere! Attached to True Vine Brewery makes this a great place to eat. Family friendly!
It is so refreshing to smell and tast bread and pastries with such quality flavor, You have got to try them! You'll for sure go back! YUM!
the crew at Sola Bread put every ounce of their passion into everything that goes into the oven! Their Community Pizza Nights have a great neighborly vibe and the pizza is top notch!
Had their pizza last night and omg it was delicious! Our table ordered several different kinds so we could try a little bit of everything and it was all so good!
I recently went to Sola Bread Co with a friend. It was my first time. The place is located inside a local brewery that has great lemonades, craft beers, and root beer, as well as wine. The atmosphere is calm. There are a lot of young families and people bring their dogs as well. The pizza selections were fancy! My husband has simple taste and would not have wanted anything from here, but it was great for my friend and I because we enjoy adventurous foods! We shared a Penelope and I must say, it was amazing!! I will crave this pizza often for sure! I am excited to try others. Overall highly recommended.
Great staff! Unfortunate hours. If you want to eat you need to do so before 8 pm. The kitchen closes at 8. If you enjoy beer and wine, you'll enjoy True Vine. Family fun karaoke night, great for kids. 0
Oh man, just wow. From pizza to pastries, they've got it figured out.
Update, this is still the best pizza in Tyler, Texas, and possibly America. I'd need to do a side by side comparison with Tinder Hearth in Maine, but it's close for sure.
The pastries are fantastic, the coconut croissant is the best of the best in that department. Pizzas are exceptionally good, especially for the price. I got the Ipanema which had thin slices of lemon on it. I thought that was unusual but it is a fantastic textural and flavor combination along with the arugula and crema. It was something like $15 for a pizza that could have fed two people. One of the top ten pizzas I have ever had (and I lived in Italy for three years).
Delicious thin crust artisan pizzas, amazing pastries and try their pretzels with beer cheese for a snack. Inside next to True Vine Brewery, great place for kids too as there is a kid park outside. Check their Instagram to do bread or pastry orders each week.
There are two reasons I come to visit Tyler. Family, and Sola! Great pizza, bread and pastries to die for, awesome owners and employees. Never disappoints! If you've never been, put it on your bucket list! Simply the best!!
Took the Yankee Sister in Law and Niece. Enjoyed the pizza and brews. Love the dog park. Didn't bring a dog but loved playing with other people's dogs. True Vine let's you try before you buy which is awesome. Very enjoyable evening. Live band was good.
Excellent pizza! I thought that pizza in Texas was not going to be something I enjoyed since I'm used to good New York style pizza. But I could definitely taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. That and the atmosphere is absolutely lovely. We came on a Saturday night and there was a live band that made this a really wonderful and memorable evening.
