Wide Selection of dishes and sustantial lunch proportions. Very pleasing and helpful server who described that I could have anything listed on the Restaurant Week menu. I was offered ice water and bread (creamed butter). I chose Crispy Calamari as my first course which was lightly breaded and so tender with three dips. Almost meal in itself. I selected Steamed Mussels Tuscan style and finished with an almond Carmel cheese cake. Again, this meal was well worth the bargain $20.14 price!! I also learned of their Happy Hour dishes, half price bottles of wine days and more. A comfortable setting and an unpretentious staff for a 3 star restaurant. I questioned my serve why I could not find the any Italian sausage in my Tuscan dish and without question he offered to bring me a plate of sausage as well as additional garlic bread to sop us the mussel juices.

Fish tacos were excellent and so was the key lime pie. The service, as always, was great!

Come for the beer list, stay for the beer list. I was to be in town one night for work and wanted a place out to meet some friends. I picked this place based on reviews, proximity to my hotel, and the length of the beer list.

I arrived 7-ish, before my friends. The place was packed with a diverse crowd of happy hour folks (they have happy hour on Saturday, which is neat) and diners. I was alone at first, and sat at the bar between 2 groups of middle-aged couples, down the bar from a group of attractive 30-ish women. A number of on-a-date couples were also at the bar. The happy hour specials were good - nice big mugs of the 20-ish craft beers on tap and a selection of t he menu. I ate a spring green salad and pizza, both were recommended by the bartender. In retrospect, I wish I'd ignored his recommendations and followed my own eye as neither were great and I thought there were better alternatives. Still, not bad. Beer list was generally the highlight though.

The place cleared out rapidly in the 45 mins following the end of happy our at 7pm. My friends arrived a little before 8, and we easily moved to a bar table and got some cursory wait-service from the bar.

Not a bad spot, although the beer list was by far the highlight.

Regular Customer. For me eating out has never been a joy until I discovered CG Tysons. It's a nice place with incredible service and great tasting food. In some restaurants, its either just a nice place but poor service & lousy food. Not at Chef Geoff's, you get all three. The first time I was here was last year. I was walking down the street when suddenly it rained. I took shelter inside Chef Geoff's and noticed some people having Happy Hour at the bar. 30 minutes later, the rain stopped, but I was already starting to enjoy Happy Hour and was busy talking with a couple of other customers. I stayed for another 2 to 3 hours before heading home. After that experience, I became a regular customer until now.

: Nothing Surpasses Chef Geoff's Tyson's Happy Hour. Other happy hours pale in comparison to what Chef Geoff Tyson's on Monday nights offers to its customers. At 5.95 the CG burgers are prepared to order and deliciously yummy. Wine bottles are half priced and there's a whole assortment of beer specials to choose from. There's always something for everyone. This is absolutely the best deal anyone can have.

My Family's Top Choice. My family and I really enjoy eating at Chef Geoff's Tyson. It's practically tradition to spend some family time together at this restaurant. Whenever there is a reason to celebrate, for sure we have it here. Or even when there is nothing to celebrate about, we still prefer dining at Chef Geoff's Tyson. My wife really likes their salads. She would always comment about the freshness and sweet/tangy flavor of her favorites. Even though I'm a hundred percent meat-lover, I agree with her. For myself, I love their sandwiches. There's a lot to choose from and normally, would take me a while to get over one kind of sandwich before choosing a different one. My kids prefer ordering their own food. They have their own personal favorites and sometimes they try on other stuff as well. Their menus are made for children, with puzzles and mazes for them to play with while waiting for their order to be served. On 27th April 2011, they have this event called Lioco Wine Dinner. My wife and I would not want to miss out on this event.

Good food, but.... For lunch the salmon burger was deliciously moist with fries that were nicely seasoned but could have been crisper (fresher?), unfortunately this was at my friend's place. They got my order wrong after recommending the burger and gave me the salmon entree instead - it too was good anyway. My black trousers were full of lint when I got up to leave - love it when restaurants give you the black napkin!! In spite of these things, I'd definitely give it another try.

Great food. Have been here several times. Great food. i love the gnocci and the autumn vegetable bisque. Also the butternut squash risotto with scallops. They don't rush you, you can actually have a fine dining experience.

Chef Geoff is devoted to creating great food, libation, and merriment. Each of his restaurants is a neighborhood institution, dedicated to the local community and clientele. Each has its own unique personality, but three things remain constant: great food, great times, and great service.

On this particular night, 9 friends and I stopped by at Chef Geoff's (Tysons Corner) for a late happy hour. How late, you ask?

This location is right off of route 7 and has very convenient valet service right out front. They'll also validate for up to 2 hours if you park in the garage right behind the 8065 building. Food is always great! Service is generally fairly good. Tons of lunch meetings are held here (aka tons of suits) Happy Hour is a great deal, especially with the half priced burgers.

Fantastic and uniquely season dishes. The mixed drinks are made well, and there is a moderate selection of other choices. The atmosphere is very clean and proper. Great spot for a group gathering for a more formal even.

The food was excellent. Great prices. The service was a little below average. The steaks did not come with the baked potato, which took another 10 minutes to arrive. The wait staff did not return to the table frequently enough. The bus team failed to clean the floor at a nearby table before seating a new party. The food scraps (bread) remained on the floor. The manager is superb. He came to the table and introduced himself. I enjoyed the restaurant and the food, but strongly recommend the wait and bus staff have a bit more training.

Giving Cher Geoff's five stars for their Happy Hour! Half price burgers, 4 bucks off pizzas, cheap beer (awesome selection on happy hour menu), wine prices and cheap apps. Really a nice spot for after work. Try the honey sriracha cauliflower app. Just like chicken wings only better. Parking situation isn't great but this place is worth the inconvenience.

Food was really really good, nice creative dishes with a lot of choices. service ultra slow more than 2 hours for lunch (with a reservation). The staff when available was friendly. You can tell the food was so good with the 4 star review but the wait......

The atmosphere is very nice. It is upscale. There is valet parking. There is a coat check. The servers are very attentive, helpful and patient. I was part of a large party. We were celebrating a birthday. They did a good job meeting our various dietary needs. The sweet potato was baked to perfection--it was not hard nor was it mushy. It was also naturally quite sweet. The honey yogurt topping was different but nice. My filet was cooked as requested but it was not hot. It was room temperature. It also could have used more seasoning. It has a port wine sauce. Personally, I prefer savory to sweet when it comes to my filet. Overall, I would dine here again.

Went for Thanksgiving dinner yesterday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food. They had a fixed price 3 course feast for under $45 per person + drinks and tip. Appetizers included a delicious pumpkin soup, fresh home made hummus with pita, home made potato chips with dip, and the one I chose: a huge serving of fried calamari (among the best I've had) served with marinara and tartar sauces. For the main course, they had many choices. Naturally, turkey with all the fixins was the featured dish, but they also had chicken, crab cakes, scallops, steak, and several others including my pick of the crispy shrimp bowl (see my photo) which was served on a huge bed of rice, butternut squash, edamame, corn shaved off the cob, Asian style Cole slaw, and a cucumber/cherry tomato salad. Desserts were pumpkin pie with whipped cream and caramel sauce, no flour chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and cookie chunks, and there was one other which I don't remember as no one at the table ordered it. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. All in all, highly recommended if you're looking for a way to escape the Thanksgiving prep and cleanup yet still enjoy a great holiday with friends and family. Large tables are available.

Food and service outstanding. Thank you Erin. Shared the Shrimp and Hummus Salad, then enjoyed a Pizza and a Tuna Pasta Salad. Truly enjoyed everything. Parked in a nearby garage and walked over, but they do have valet parking. This location has been Closed...
