Won a free pizza from Monical's and decided to eat at the Urbana one. Excellent service!!!!! When our pizza came out our waitress told us that the gentleman making the pizza misread our order and accidentally put too much of a certain topping over toppings he shouldn't have. We couldn't even see his mistake but to our surprise our waitress Rhonda told us that another pizza was already being made for us to take home! Wow! Now that is excellent service and our food was very yummy! Five star all the way!
Great pizza! Ordered online while still on the road into Urbana based on positive reviews on TripAdvisor. They delivered to our hotel room fast & hot. Will keep in mind if we are back in the area.
Best pizza and salad in the world, when we lived in urbana, Illinois we ate there a lot, then we moved to another state, they don't have Monicals here,we went back to Illinois in July 2016,we ate at monicals pizza 3 times,we miss eating there.

Love there pizza and have been eating them for 45 years. My first job was making there crust in Urbana Illinois at the restaurant in Washington street back then.
Our server is amazing! She remembers us and what we like. She laughs with us and we always have a great time.
Amazing I wish I was eating it now . But that's impossible because I'm in California
They have such great, cheesy lasagna. It's my favorite. Ita filled with ricotta ans topped with 3 kinds of cheese. Oh its good. The garlic butter breadsticks that come with it are also very good.
The regular breadsticks with cheese sauce were nice. We got the deep dish pizza and like always, it was delicious. It was made into a "family pleaser" which included a huge salad with your choice of dressing. But let's be real here...if you're at Monical's then you get tart and sweet dressing. It also comes with a pitcher of soda.
Our server was very thorough, quick, and sweet. She was busy but never left us waiting for anything we needed.
All in all it was a great experience. I definitely recommend!
Me and two friends shared a half chicken / half mushroom and sausage pizza. We each had a third of it. The workers were nice, and the pizza was amazing, but it took a while to arrive at our table.
Waitress was disorganized and forgot to bring salads. When asked for a knife, she brought it when we were almost finished eating. Pizza was delicious!
Very friendly, fast service and clean. Restroom smelled and looked very clean. They have Gluten free options.

As usual, this Monicals provided great food and service. We love the pizza but they also have great sandwiches. We regularly take out-of-town visitors to experience Central Illinois' signature pizza.
We came in on a Saturday evening and the place was half full but we didn't wait very long before getting seated. Our server, Dustin, was excellent and a nice guy as well. My wife and I had a split topping pizza (chicken, sausage, olives/Hawaiian style) while our son ordered the baked ravioli in Alfredo sauce. Not only was the food delicious and moderately priced, but the interior was inviting. I liked that there was no intrusive, loud music, such that we had a great time conversing while there. If you want a pleasant, casual dining experience in southeast Urbana, Monical's is a great option and superb value.
My brother and I went there before an evening off running errands. We arrived and there was one young man that waited on the tables there. He was very polite and very attentive to all the tables he waited in. Our food was hot and yummy and management came out to check on all the customers several times. Great evening out.
Pizza was excellent but not so sure it was worth $30 for one pizza
Tonight my husband and I ordered our usual family pleaser, and breadsticks. When we arrived everything was ready but our pizza was still baking so we just pulled into a parking spot--the guy at the window told us he would run in out as soon as it was ready. While we were waiting this really nice delivery driver saw our dog, and offered to give her a treat. A few short moments later the guy at the window literally RAN our pizza out to us. Everything was so good and we appreciate it! You guys do a great job!!
I used to order Dominos as my once and a while treat until their service became so poor, I couldn't take it anymore. I tried Monical's a few times and they didn't disappoint. I can get my own pan pizza loaded with toppings for less than $10.
Unless I missed it, I do wish their crust had a little more flavor. Some garlic butter would take their pizza to the next level! I will definitely come in with some friends one day to try their dressing people seem to rave about.
Stop by everything we're near one. Good food, great friendly service.
