Based on family coming from the Albany area for Mother's day and based on previous lunch and dinner visits, we celebrated Mother's Day at Aqua Vino, located off the NYS Thruway Exit 31 at 16 Harbor Lock Rd E, Utica, NY 13502.
We were a group of seven and were seated promptly with reservations, however based on the weather, versus outside, we were seated upstairs at a round table which was perfect for our family. Trish took excellent care of us and even the bus girls and gals provided excellent service along with the Bar Gal.
For the food, menu was limited but great - Appetizers & Soups to start - Brother in law had a greens & beans type soup, one of the best he has had, a mother had Shrimp and Crab Bisque also tasty. Geno's Greens, Aqua Vino Calamari with with Sambal Aioli and cold Chicken stuffed were all great. PS Not available but also great their Long Hots - my favorite.
Cajun Sea Bass, Salmon, Filet all exceptional. Rack of Lamb over Greens my choice was excellent and it was cooked perfectly. My mom had their Shrimp & Scallops Fra D'Avolo, Trish even warned her that it was spicy and lucky for us she enjoys spicy food. It was both spicy and great tasting. Large portion as well.
Desserts - of course always room - their Limoncello Mascarpone Cake was a Big Hit at our table and I went for their Peanut Butter cake simply the best.
Took pictures of most of the dishes, Greens went too fast for a picture :). Overall they surpassed our expectations for a Mother's Day celebration.
I made the reservation for one at a half hour's notice o a very busy Saturday night. They very graciously seated me at a small table looking out to the rest of the room and the patio. One if the specials was sea bass, but I was in the mood for their haddock oreganato. It could not have been more tender and delicious, served after warmed bread, a frea green side salad, and also came with a small side of pasta with deliciously fresh red sauce gently garnished with grated cheese. Every mouthful was a treat! For dessert I chose their creamy cheesecake with freshly sliced strawberries : a delicious conclusion to an outstanding meal.
I ear small portions normally, so I usually go home with 'doggy bag.' But I couldn't bear the thought of reheating this perfectly prepared meal, so I "ate the whole thing." Mmmmmm!
I've been here for fundraisers and the food is good and service is great and the atmosphere is the best thing about this restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant for someone who wants to have a party or just have dinner.
Fantastic. The steak was beautiful, the patio is refreshing, and the service is perfect. Utica is lucky to have this place!
Awesome atmosphere, amazing service and the food is spectacular! If you choose to have a function or just want a great dinner I highly recommend this venue!!!
Nice spot for a relaxing meal with great food. Bartender was awesome. Didn’t get her name but was very personable.

I love it here. Food is great excellent service. Warm and cozy, where else can you dine outside in Utica with a view of the canal while sipping a glass of wine ☆☆☆☆☆
Delicious food, atmosphere and staff. The elevator was broken but that was fine. I did hear some crazed old man in there yelling his name was Dave Morgan and to fix it NOW!
Highly recommended whenever in the Utica NY area. Be sure to try the meatballs!
Had my bridal shower here a few weeks ago. I could not have asked for anything better from Trish, her brother and the staff at Aqua Vino. They made everything beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious!
One of the best restaurants in Utica will definitely be back. Food and service was spectacular not to mention the view..
Waterside dinning, excellent cocktails, wonderful folks and great food. Not to be missed!
We had my future daughter in laws bridal shower at Aqua Vinos on Sunday for a champagne brunch. Everything was perfect. It looked beautiful. The food was great and the staff were amazing. Paying attention to detail and our needs. Highly recommend having your next event there. Thank you!
Went last night for a date night with my girlfriend. Our server, Madison, was fantastic. The French onion soup was one of the best we’ve ever had and the tomahawk steaks were some of the best steaks we have ever had. Will definitely be back in the future when we are in the area!

We ate on the patio overlooking the water. It was very pretty! I had the Chicken Francaise, which was good! My friend ordered a seafood dish, which she said was ok. She also ordered the Fruit Torta for dessert, which she enjoyed. The ambiance was great, the food was good, the service was slow. But overall we enjoyed our meal!
We had our daughter's baby shower there. Food was excellent, service wonderful. Trish and her staff did an amazing job. Highly recommend.

Utica is surprisedly full of good restaurants Aqua Vino is a great restaurant ! The menu is full of one mouth watering dish after another. There is nothing I wouldn't try. As a bonus the service is top notch also. Enjoy!!
