Outstanding! Service, cocktail selection, menu, decor ! Our dishes were absolutely incredible- I had the best salad appetizer - was so fresh and the flavors of the beets with the goat cheese and lemon vinegar greens were so delicious. My entree was the scallops with the house made pasta ....perfection. And for dessert - a grilled watermelon on a buttermilk pana cotta - I could eat this every day of my life. The wine selection is one of the best in the city. Will be back again and again.

I read an article not long ago that proclaimed Utica as being top notch for Upstate fine dining. I figured I'd give another one of these joints a try tonight. Motus definitely didn't disappoint! Our server Brent was among the best I've had anywhere - including swanky NYC places. He was on top of his game and ensured we had a fantastic experience. We both went with the Prix Fixe menu and couldn't have been happier. The Jagerschniztel was on par with top end Bavarian restaurants in places like Cincinnati's mainstrasse village. Awesome experience all around!

Went for dinner tonight and had the eggplant dish... out of this world! Every detail of this restaurant was so impressive, from the menu, to the window to view the chefs cooking, and then the sliced garlic on top of my dish (amazing)! Can't wait to come back!

Had the best dining experience. It was my third time dining at motus. This time we started with the Beer Hall Board. Housemade kielbasa, pork belly, cauliflower, romanesco and greens. So many different and interesting flavors. Housemade bread and butter (delicious)! The salad is a combination of the freshest bitter and sweet greens complimented by pear and fresh turnips with house vinaigrette. I had the Lobster and Shrimp Cannelloni. Lobster, shrimp, housemade pasta, ricotta and lobster mornay sauce. Amazing. My friend had the chicken. Moist and delicious. For dessert, I had the Salted Pot de Creme. Best dessert ever! Caramel custard topped with chilled chocolate ganache and a peanut butter pistachio cookie. Housemade as are all of their desserts. Imagine the prep work that goes into these creative dishes! I love the ambiance of the place. Very New Yorkish. The service was excellent. Ryan was very dedicated to learning the complexities of the menu. He did a fine job. Kudos everyone!

Incredible. Mōtus has quickly become my favorite restaurant in the Mohawk Valley. Locally sourced ingredients, exquisitely prepared dishes and the most beautiful presentation. The menu is exciting & the atmosphere sophisticated without being the least bit pretentious. I cannot say enough about this place. You are nailing it... keep up the great work!

Some of the best food we have had. It was my husband and I first time there and it was an amazing experience. The staff was great, the service was 5 ⭐️. And the food is as just to die for. Everything we had was made to perfection! Definitely going again!

We loved this place! We were greeted at the door, and they took our coats and we were escorted to our friend who was already seated. The wait staff was friendly and courteous. With every course, the server gave a detailed description of what she placed before us. Our meals were fantastic, and the desserts were out of this world. We will be back, and we will bring new people as well. Thank you for a great experience!

I'm not one to write a review of a place, but it's been about 12 hours later and I don't think I've stopped thinking about the duck confit. We tried everything on the menu (sorry Jeff) and everything was absolutely spectacular. I'm still trying to figure out how they seared the steak, I'm pretty sure it's impossible. The only "dissappointing" thing I can think of is, after people read this review, how hard it's going to be to get a reservation.

From the knowledgeable and friendly staff to the last, delucious bite of dessert, Motus didn't fail to impress me! The decor was on point, and everything was impeccably clean! I can't wait to get back! Might I suggest staying at Hotel Utica if you're coming from out of town!

Simply amazing experience. The bar has an amazing menu. Different drinks than one usually finds in Utica and the surrounding area. Once seated, the service was prompt, waitress knew the menu, and had great suggestions. Our party of 6 tried all the appetizers........ extraordinary. Our meal and desserts followed the same suit. Superior presentation, a creative use of different ingredients and the flavor had layers to it. 5 stars is absolutely what Motus is. Can not wait to return.

Dinner for two at Mōtus Utica last night. Simply amazing! We enjoyed the special prix fixe menu. $62 each and we had two cocktails a piece. The service was top notch, we were able to enjoy each course without being rushed, and as the meal progressed, each bite seemed to get better than the last. I highly recommend this gem in downtown Utica. We are blessed to have such an amazing culinary experience available locally!

My partner and I had the pleasure of dining here on several occasions and it has been nothing short of amazing each time. The locally-sourced ingredients combined with the chef’s flare impresses us every time. A great selection of wine and cocktails too!

Excellent service and very good food. Maybe a little overpriced and the wine pours are skimpy, though my cocktail was generous enough. Very nice ambience, though I'm old school enough to think that restaurants that charge $38 for a main course should have tablecloths. I will likely go back. This place is ambitious and creative and deserves a chance.

The ambiance is very nice, soothing, inviting clean... The food was very good. You need to try the pork chop plate. It was tasty, cooked to perfection. Although the bread pudding was very nice and balanced, we were confused as of why would that be the starch of the place. I was a bit disappointed about the salmon plate. It was average. The pasta did not quite paired very well. The chef's wine paring was perfect. The appetizers: the salad, pickled asparagus, cheese board, the carrot study was out of this world. Desert: creme brulee and pineapple cake were excellent. Not too sweet but smooth and creamy
