My wife Anna and I hit this place up today and it was well worth it! We tried the Juicy Lucy, the Pork BahnMi, and a Crab Pupusa. If you want intense flavors that just melt in your mouth, you need to check this place out! I don't know of any other place in Vallejo with a menu like this place.
Props to the Owner/Chef Giovanni for making this happen! We will be back.
Stopped by on Sunday. What a treat to have a new eatery in Vallejo with an eye for gourmet ingredients! I had the wild mushroom arugula salad, which was utterly delicious. Also had the Mac & Cheese (sans bacon). The tomato jam on top really made it special. Needed salt though, but that was an easy fix (maybe if I'd added the bacon it would have made the salt level perfect). My companion had a deconstructed grilled Caeser salad and she ate it up ;-)
While there we saw chicken & waffle sliders, BahnMi sandwiches & burgers coming out that all looked AMAZING. Can't wait to go again!
So happy to have a foodie spot in Vallejo!!! This place is great. We've been 3 times in the last couple weeks. Love the changing menu. The chicken tikka masala tacos were out of sight.
This Place Is Bomb!!everyone needs to try this place. I've only eaten there Harvest Cobb. Omg one of the best salads I've ever had!! Going back this weekend for brunch. Can't Wait ��
Just had lunch at Urban Counter. The menu is fresh and new and excellent. Spoke with Chef owner and he has had an extensive training and experience being a chef and food services. The menu is very multicultural with a wide array for food choices with slowly rotating menu. Please never take away the Duck Tacos,,,,,, OMG. The environment is open and fresh and relaxing.... BTW laptop users they have incorporated a stand bar that is laptop accessible.. where you can relax,,, and drink that amazing Moroccan Iced coffee...... Yes,,, this is the new Vallejo folks now support it.
Great food here folks, and very decent prices. Lots of delicious, adventurous fusion-style offerings as well as some down-home classics with a unique twist. I really hope we get to see more great food like this in Vallejo!
Great food and great people. Try the duck tacos and the curry fries. Giovanni the owner came over and talked to us. Do yourself a favor and give them a chance! Vallejo needed some new food places.
We had curry fries and chicken tikka masala tacos and Moroccan coffee. Everything was really flavorful and the prices are right. I plan to go back tomorrow for the jerk chicken wings and then again next week for the new menu. This place is a breath of culinary fresh air for Vallejo!!!
We went here and got the chicken curry fries, they were so good we couldn't stop eating them. They have a rotating menu so there is always something new to try and they have great service :-)
This is my favorite place to grab a quick bite. I know it will be prepared perfectly with fresh and unique ingredients. Friendly service too!

Food so good we came twice! Worth the trip for anyone in the bay area. Intimate atmosphere with a modern aesthetic. Delicious food and drinks. Each dish has a surprising twist. This was a palate pleasing experience for sure!
Wonderful restaurant with clean modern decor and a very friendly staff but the star of the show it the incredibly delicious food. Outstanding
So very happy, I just had the MOST delicious B.L.T. that I have had anywhere in the world.. and I travel a lot. I can't wait to try some of the other "rotating" favorites. Even my normally picky husband walked away content. Top marks Urban Counter.

This definitely beats Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken was tender and crispy. It has more of a dry seasoning rather than a wet sauce. The pickles were sour but perfectly balanced with the sandwich. Most importantly, the bun was brioche . I saw people ask for a sauce for the chicken but I finished eating by that time. Will come back to try that pinkish, orange sauce!
My two complaints are that the parking was difficult and the Mac n cheese was too floury. Don't get the mac n cheese. It was so dense and thick. The noodles were also soggy, which added to its density.
Since everyone is quarantined right now, this is a good takeout order place. It's also quick and easy! Might as well enjoy some quality chicken sandwich if we are all trapped in our homes, bored out of our minds.
Wow. Never tried this place before. Drove by and went back to try. Wow. What a good decision. My wife had the vegan French toast. Now I am a meat eater and that was great and I would it. I got the breakfast burrito znd it was delicious. The coffee is great. Their menu changes every 3 to six weeks so there is always something new. Must go to eatery. We will return often.
I love Dave's Hot Chicken! I remember when the line curved alongside the other businesses but now they have multiple locations across LA. Now, their service is speedy and the chicken is the best.
Order the tender and slider it's more than enough for one person. I usually get the hot level it is not that spicy. Don't forget to check in on yelp for a free side or drink.

They harvest their own garden which you can tell via the freshness of their ingredients. I had a tart that was divine for my appy. Not sure if this is solely on the dine la menu but I'd go back just for the tart! Our meal consisted of duck confit for me and salmon belly sammy for her. We cleaned our plates. Both delicious. Admittedly i was hesitant about baked beans bc I, as a practice, don't eat them. Namely bc I, as a practice, do not like them. Lol. But their baked beans are more like a bean stew and flavored almost like a chili. Yum.
A pleasant surprise in the heart of Vallejo. Breakfast was fantastic and very flavorful with a nice presentation. They have a relatively small menu so I assume they do it all well. Definitely recommend the eggs Benedict varieties if that's your jam.
Pleasantly surprised. Sloppy Joe was big and delicious. Half was enough for me. Special ribs were great as well. Homemade fries taste good but a bit soggy. I would eat here again.
Food was delicious and lots of it. Definitely not fast service, took quite a while to get our to-go orders. Prices were very reasonable and there was a nice range of omnivore, vegetarian, and vegan fare.
