We walked in and Trent greeted us right away. Asked us if we had ever been there before. We hadn’t. He was extremely polite and led us in the right direction by allowing us to preview the flavors. I had the catfish and wings meal. Both were done to perfection. The catfish were some of the best fish I have ever had and the wings were big and meaty. I would highly recommend you try this place if you haven’t yet. It’s soon to be Valpo’s next hot spot!
My new favorite place! Catfish & fries are so delicious, served piping hot & fresh. The mild sauce is sweet fire, just enough heat. Hushpuppies do not disappoint. You must try this food! ���
Came here for lunch today with a group and had the small catfish special, it was delicious! The breading was just right, very flavorful and crispy, not too thick and not too thin. The french fries were sprinkled in some sort of special seasoning that was also delicious.
The atmosphere was pretty bare-bones, but they're just starting out. Also I'm pretty sure if you go to a chicken & catfish place for "ambiance" you're doing it wrong. One of the guys working there was also sure to deploy some smooth jazz for our listening pleasure. ;)
At first our order got mixed up a little bit but the staff there made sure to make it right. Just minor growing pains for a new restaurant I'm sure. The food was really great and I will definitely be back again and bringing more friends!

Very unique flavor of breading, & hot mild sauce is wonderful! Haven't had catfish since I was a child! Very simple menu, and very tasty. The woman who greeted us, was very kind. Definitely glad I stopped in.

My mother, daughter, and myself came in very anxious to try the fried chicken and catfish. I must say we were amazes with how amazing the food and the customer service was. Wonderful staff and phenomenal food! We will definitely be back very soon!

Best chicken around here! The boneless wings are seriously the size of my fist!! And the homemade sauce is what I would imagine crack must be like. It is highly addictive.
I don't know how Valparaiso, Indiana got so lucky to be the host of a sister restaurant from Oklahoma, but I am so glad for it! Everything I've had here has been so delicious from chicken to shrimp to catfish. It's a briny flavor you can't find anywhere else in town and I crave it!

If you can only visit one restaurant in Valpo, go to Louie's. The pictures show the wings and pizza puff, both Louie's Way (meaning that the sauce is on the top). The service is very friendly. And of course the sauce is very delicious.

This place will now be my new go to for excellent fried chicken & catfish. I tried it for the first time over this past weekend and it was worth the drive there and back. The lady at the register that took my order was very friendly and pleasant from the jump. She explained the menu to me and my lady friend and answered any questions that we had in the process. After placing the order the owner came out and spoke with us and explained the background behind the great establishment and future plans to come to enhance the business. He was so professional, cool and down to earth. I didn't get a who cares if these people come back type of feel from him like most of these business owners. I got a I appreciate your business and I want you to come back & also tell your friends and family about this place type of feel & that is what it's all about. I NEVER take the time to leave reviews but I felt I owed him a positive review from how great the owner, the workers and the service was as a whole. Will definitely be coming back. P.S. The Hot Sauce & Mild Sauce that I tried which they make themselves is a hit and is a must get if you go there. Chicken & Fish is greatly seasoned.
The food here is absolutely delicious! Friendly service. Large portions. All around great place. Haven't had fish that good since I lived near the gulf of Mexico. Hush puppies were delicious and fresh. Sauces are awesome! Can't say enough good things.
This is the ONLY real wings and fries fish establishment in Valparaiso and it is superb! My family ordered their perch, catfish, shrimp, chicken tenders, and wings. Everything was cooked to perfection! They actually season their food with flavorful herbs and spices not just dry cornmeal batter. It's fried to a tender crisp and not overdone like most places tend to do. The dine in area is clean and well spaced out to accommodate social distancing. The owner and staff are very friendly as well. I recommend calling ahead to place an order whether you plan on dining in or take out because there is a wait for the food to be prepared. But believe me when I say, it's worth it! They are in the process of hiring more cooks and servers so that should help. If you want the best fish and wings in town, head straight to Louie's and prepare to be amazed!
Me and my friends eat here like we get paid for it. They’re always playing some lit anime on the TV every time we walk in. The employees always are friendly and joke around with us. This place makes me ignore my gluten intolerance because it’s just that good. According to Walter Edward Todd, “Y’know how some food falls off the bone? Louie’s catfish is so tender it falls off the air. It falls off the void.” That’s a real quote from a conversation that two teenage boys had, and none of us got paid to say it. In fact, we threw our money at Louie’s in order to say it. It was literally out of pocket. In the corporate world, Louie’s has turned us into what would be called raving fans and we will never be the same. Personally, I have no regrets about it. I never leave a review when I eat somewhere but Louie’s is simply different. Louie’s is THE spot. Louie is quite simply THAT guy.
This place is a must! It is a hidden jewel! Food is superb! The cook/Owner was outstanding!He came out personally to make sure we were enjoying the food. You can tell he is passionate about the food he creates! I ordered perch on a sandwich, which he hadn't put the perch on a sandwich before, so he came out to our table and made sure i was enjoying it. I highly recommend , and it was perfectly put together , he asked me how it was? I replied excellent, but it needs pickles, without hesitation he went to the back and got them for me to add , it was perfection!♥️ He made sure my husband tried all the best sauces and food, being our first time there. He went above and beyond! Thank u so much!
Eat here all the time chicken sandwich is amazing probably my favorite ever. I ordered today and got 2 chicken sandwich combos and it was dryer than the Sahara desert. Food was terrible tonight. I love this place. Hence why I’m leaving 5 stars. I love the chicken here. I don’t know what the cook was doing tonight though. Not sure if I want to take my chances again.
